I quickly recoiled in shock and pure fury from the brown tom that appeared in front of me. His purple eyes filled with shock and a emotion I knew too well.

"Brokenflight-"he began.

"Don't you dare speak to me!" I snarl, my fur bristled and my tail lashed back and forth.

"I just hav-"

"Did I just tell you not to speak with me?" I spat,"are you completely mousebrained?"

I look around the clearing and catch Wildstar's emotionless gaze sitting beside Icestar.

"What. Is. HE. Doing. Here?!" I hiss bit by bit to the older she cat.

She slowly got up and streaked toward us. "He and Birdlight needed a place for her kits," she answered calmly.

I whip my head around to the nursery to see the pale silver tabby sitting just outside of it with three kits rapped up in her tail.

"I thought they were going to live in the old twoleg barn?" I spat at Wildstar.

"There are rogues crawling all over it, they took us in until Bloodwing came to recruit new cats for Boneclan," answered Hickoryblaze for the tabby and white queen.

"I was not speaking to you!" I snarl and crouch down, my muscles tense and ready to rip another tom to shreds.

A tail laid itself over my back and I see Leopardsight's warm gaze. 'Calm down,' he mouths.

I force my fur to lie back and slip out of the crouch I was once in. "Who is Boneclan?" I ask in a more civil tone to Wildstar.

"Apparently that is what Strikeclan, Shadowclan, and Windclan call themselves," Wildstar growls,"Riverclan has came here to ask for help to defeat Boneclan. We have both agreed to become one clan for now, Lionclan."

"Lionclan?" I question.

"We are one now, strong enough to defeat these foxhearted mousedungs,"Icestar answered with a snarl.

"How will we defeat Boneclan if they have three clans put together and we have two?" I ask skeptically" these cats will not hesitate to kill."

"There are many rogues from the barn that didn't want to join Boneclan," Hickoryblaze pipes up to my annoyance,"they ran away into the forest beside the barn with us. I'm sure they are there now because Bloodwing left straight away with seven cats, not bothering to follow the rest that fled."

"So what you are saying is that the other rogues could help us?" Wildstar mews thoughtfully to Hickoryblaze and to herself as well.

The brown tom nods fiercely, his purple gaze full of determination.

"Snowbreeze!" Wildstar's call rang into the clearing.

The silver and white deputy bounded up from the medicine cat den,"yes Wildstar?"

"I want you to organize a patrol of Thunderclan and Riverclan warriors, Hickoryblaze will lead you to the barn to convince these cats," she ordered," while the patrol is gone I want Dewscale and Brokenflight to over see battle training, every cat must be mentally and physically ready for battle is that understood?"

Yowls of agreement filter through the air.

"Tigerstrike, organize a patrol of cats to go to Riverclan territory. We must move all Riverclan cats on Thunderclan territory right now! I have heard that Boneclan is only focussing on Shadowclan territory and has abandoned Windclan territory! Be sure to pick strong cats." Wildstar growled.

"Yes, Wildstar!"Tigerstrike called out from behind a group of warriors.

"Hollyberry, get a few elders and apprentices to help find herbs for the medicine cats!" She mews to the black warrior.

"As you wish Wildstar,"mewed Hollyberry.

"Wildstar, how are we going to feed all these cats?" I growl.

"We will use Windclan territory," she answers with triumph in her voice.

"Very well,"I dip my head in agreement and catch Hickoryblaze's gaze.

I narrow my eyes and hiss at him.

"Calm down, Brokenflight," whispers Leopardsight in my ear,"he's just going to get under your fur if you keep thinking about him."

I sigh,"of all cats he has to be here."

"Maybe Starclan ment for this to happen, for the sake of the clans," he murmurs before padding towards the freshkill pile," would you like to eat with me?"

I nod and feel a warmness spread through my tense body. I quicken my pace to fall in step with him, ignoring the gaze that is piercing my back.
