We bound up onto the highledge and pad into Wildstar's rocky den. She sits there waiting for us, her long tabby marked tail rapped around her paws.

"I need a pair of you each to take on a duty,"she ordered,"I want Sootfeather and Brackenleaf to organize border patrols, make sure that each patrol is strong enough to battle anything that pops out. Also organize hunting patrols, our clan needs to be strong enough for what's coming."

"Yes, Wildstar," the toms mewed in unison.

"Tigerstrike and Hollyberry, I want you two to help the medicine cats with searching for herbs, they need protection. Also I want you both and the other queens to help the elders and kits practice battle moves, just in case an ambush is to occur,"the tabby and white pelted she cat mewed firmly.

"Yes Wildstar,"mewed Tigerstrike.

"As you wish,"said Hollyberry determinedly.

"Brokenflight, Snowbreeze, you both are excellent fighters. I want the two of you to start battle training with the warriors and apprentices. Make sure each cat knows each battle move precisely. Is that understood?" She asked critically, her green eyes sharp and narrowed.

My heart starts thumping rapidly at her praise and the hard task given to me.

"Yes Wildstar we won't let you down,"I mew with pride.

"Alright all of you get to it! We have to defend the forest, our home!" She growled fiercely.
