Shatrunjay was almost to catch up with his angry young brother. It seemed as if Sushen had lost control over himself and his stamping brought the twins out of their room. They hid behind a pillar, when they saw Shatrunjay grabbing Sushen's hand and pulling him close to him.

"Sushen what in the world do you think you are doing? Huh? Especially with a sword which is that sharp?" Shatrunjay questioned,but Sushen was not listening he was trying to free himself. The elder one tsked before grabbing his brother by the neck and pinning him to a pillar. He was larger in frame and had stronger triceps, finally Sushen gave up and threw the sword on the ground.

"Now, anuj tell me what were you going to do?" He asked calmly.
"I was going to Nepa to kill Saarujan." Sushen replied.

"Why?" Shatrunjay asked. Sushen's eyes widened and he started laughing like a maniac which scared the twins. He stared right in his brother's eyes and for the first time Shatrunjay felt a certain amount of fear from Sushen. "Why?" He repeated mockingly, "Jhest they are getting Pragti married to him and you are asking me WHY? HOW ARE YOU SO CALM? Someone who you truly love is forcibly getting married to someone else and yet you question me why?" Sushen's breathing was uneven, while Shatrunjay's grip loosened and he looked down.

"...because it will not bring me my Suthanu back. Killing the prince will not bring Pragti back to you either Sushen. If you do that, then we will unknowingly wage a war against Nepa kingdom as well as Indraprastha. It is better to act wisely in this situation." Shatrunjay said.

Tears threatened to fall from Sushen's eyes as he slowly slid down. "I promised her so many things...But I... I will not be able to fulfill any of them." Shatrunjay bent to his level and placed his hand on the younger one's shoulder. "No Sushen, we will definitely do something-"

"WHEN Jhest? If we want to do something then we have to think quickly because the marriage is in two days and so is the journey to Nepa! We have to react by tonight or else we will lose them forever!.." The boom in his voice faded towards the end. Whatever he had said was true, and as it sunk in Shatrunjay lost hope.

"We can help you!" A tiny voice. Sushen and Shatrunjay immediately looked up, it was Dvipat who said it while Banasen gestured them to come in their chamber. They were bemused but either way they joined the twins. They both took a seat on their bed, while Dvipat closed the chamber door and Banasen the curtains.

"Jhest we are extremely sorry for eavesdropping on your conversation but we could not help it!" Banasen said.
"Why do you both want to help us? You two will be in great trouble if we get caught." Sushen asked them.
"Jhest Dvipat can answer this question better than me." Banasen said and took a step back. Dvipat slowly sat between them and grasped their the tip of their fingers. Looking at the mixed emotions in Dvipat's eyes and the worry in Banasen's, the elder ones got serious.

"Jhest whatever I am about to tell you, I request you not to get extremely shocked or please do not overreact, moreover do not tell Mata and and Pitashree about this please!" Dvipat requested them, while they nodded.

"I...I actually love Nitya. The youngest Pandavputri. It's been a while since this happened. The reason why I want to help you both is because thinking about the situation which you both have landed, it could happen that soon it could happen to me as well. And the feeling of not being able to protect someone we love is just terrible. I cannot see you both suffering this way and that's why I want to help you." Dvipat said. Shatrunjay and Sushen were surprised but also happy. If the three of them succeeded in marrying their respective lovers then the sisters will stay under the safe roof!

Sushen gave Dvipat a bone crushing hug, Shatrunjay noticed the dramatic bitter smile which Banasen gave and he pulled him into a hug. "Although I am the one who wants to help, but the credits for coming up with this plan in such less amount of time goes to Banasen!" Dvipat chuckled. Just then Banasen clapped his hands in order to get everyone's attention.

"So the plan is..."

Karna, Vrushali and Chitrasen were going to leave in few minutes. Karna was giving some last minute orders to the senapatis, while Vrushali talked with Madhura and Raakhi. Her eyes moistened at the sight of Raakhi. The poor girl did not receive any love from Shatrunjay. Just then they heard someone shouting in the corridors.

"PITASHREE! JHEST BHRATA SHATRUNJAY AND BHRATA SUSHEN HAVE LOCKED THEMSELVES IN THEIR ROOMS!" Banasen panted.

Just like any other mother, Vrushali was about to go to their respective rooms but Vrishasen stopped her by gently holding her hand.

"Mata I will look after them. I promise you! Please I do not want any of you to go through a exhausting journey so please it's better to leave now!" He requested. She looked at Karna who nodded, and the three of them left. After their departure, Vrishasen as well as Madhura tried to get them out of their rooms but it did not work. Raakhi simply stared at them,she knew her voice would anger Shatrunjay rather than bringing him outside.

Soon the moon came up, and Sushen along with Shatrunjay sneaked out of their rooms through the windows. Dvipat was ready with their horses and after settling themselves on it they looked at him.

"Do not worry jhest! We both will manage everything! We are eagerly waiting for our bhabhis!" He said excitedly.

Soon they were on their way. There were two routes- one which went straight to Nepa kingdom while the other one passed through Indraprastha and then led to Nepa.

"Jhest bhrata just as decided! I will go to Indraprastha and meet that someone who I know can help us with the mangalsutras!Meanwhile, do not stop!" Sushen said.

Shatrunjay nodded and continued while Sushen took the second route. The wind blew fast, it seemed as if it was stopping him from reaching his destination. Sushen simply closed his eyes, and recollected whatever Banasen had said....

Flashback...

"Firstly, right before mata, Pitashree and bhrata Chitrasen will leave, Dvipat will scream that you both have locked yourselves in your respective chambers. There are two possibilities either they will stay back, and try to get you both out of the chambers. If this happens then I do not have a backup plan yet. But the second possibility is in our favour, if they decide to leave then Jhest bhrata Vrishasen will try to his best to call you both, but you guys will stay inside. Is this much clear?" Banasen asked and everyone nodded.

"Alright then, as soon as the sun goes down, both of you will escape from the mahal through your windows. Dvipat will keep your horses ready. When you guys are gone, Dvipat and I will take care of everything so you do not need to worry about anything here. Once you reach there, the only option which is left for you is... Elopement. That's the only way you can marry them."

"No Banasen! How can we?" Shatrunjay exclaimed.
"I am sorry jhest I cannot suggest anything in this as I do not know the situation over. Asking Nitya about it through a letter is extremely risky as well." Banasen said and Dvipat nodded.

"We will elope with them. Currently I do not know how. But we will figure out something right jhest?" Sushen asked.
"This is not the right way to marry someone we love... I still wish we could convince our parents as well as theirs. But we are left with no choice. But anuj what about the mangalsutra?" Shatrunjay looked at him.

Sushen closed his eyes for a brief moment, before opening them with a different determination.

"I will take care of that."
