Authors POV:

As Arjun was about to lose his balance Aaru supported by holding his torso and made him sit on the Sofa..

His body was trembling and huffing with heavy breaths...even in the cold temperature, his whole body was sweating heavily...

His forehead was completely wet with sweat beads...his hands were shivering badly while his palms began sweating

Aaru got scared seeing his brother in the horrifying state...he began rubbing Arjun's chest and yelled....

"Deepu...get his tablet"

And that's when everyone heard Madhavi Didi saying "Bhabhi"

All of them shot their heads in the direction of the main door

And there was standing Sona fully drenched in rain and water running out her clothes...she was shivering very badly

Realising that Sona's Saree was stick close to her body exposing her semi-naked body that she was trying to hide it with her hands hugging herself
Deepali immediately ran to her and tossing out the shawl from her body she covered Sona's wetted one and walked in holding her

Finally getting a glimpse of his love in no time Arjun rushed to her...clasped her  into a bone-crushing hug and breathed back his life

Though her body was as cold as ice his soul earned the much-desired warmth

In her warmth, he breathed his life❤

Sona's POV:

Quickly changing into my salwar kameez I stepped out of the washroom...

Arjun was sitting on the floor with his back touching the bed and resting elbows on raised knees

Crouching next to him I mumbled softly "Arjun"

Neither he looked at me nor he uttered any word...he kept looking down at the floor

I moved my hand close to his cheek but he brushed it off...

I tried one more time and he did the same...

And that's it...

Balancing myself on my knees I pulled him into my chest and his hot tears poured into my cold chest...

I wanted to slap myself for my stupidity...

When I was back I saw my baby having a panic attack but couldn't move an inch as if my legs were stuck to the ground with some kind of strong glue...

I don't know what happened to me...all I know is my body went numb at that moment

But thanks to Deepali...she handled me and the situation very well...She gave him tablets and asked me to change

I kept caressing his back and moved my fingers through his hair to calm him down and mumbled soothing words "Sshh baby...I am right here"

His hands on my waist tightened even more...he was hell scared because of my idiotic stunt...

I didn't know that my plan will go this wrong...

My calculation went wrong...I wanted to slap myself thousands of times for this

You should be slapped more than a million times...because of your stupidity he is going through this

I was about to apologise but then abruptly he moved out of me with a jerk and wiped his tears with the back of his palms

I tried to cup his face but he showed his hand to me asking me not to do that

Ignoring him I cupped his face between my palms but as he was so angry he moved his face sideways avoiding looking at me

Shifting close to him I turned his face to me but again trying to avoid me he closed his eyes that we're turned red due to crying and fresh tears escaped his eyes

He has this habit...whenever he wants to avoid something bad that is happening around him he closes his eyes

I placed my lips on his right eyelid for a fraction of seconds to ease him

Moving my lips to his left eyelid I did the same...

Next...trailing my lips down I sucked his pearly tears on his cheeks one after the other and left soft kisses on his tear stained cheeks

Finally, I was about to capture his lips but then he pushed me and was about to walk away but quickly I caught his wrist "Please Arjun...I am extremely sorry"

Brushing off my hand he back faced me while I stood up and pleaded "Arj

Before I could speak he turned around....clenched my forearm and yelled on my face

"Why do you all hurt me Sona??"

"Why do you and Baba scare me with your sudden horrifying actions??"

"Do you guys find it funny scaring me like this??"

"Do you have any idea what I was going through all this while??"

"Do you how much I was scared??"

"How can you be so immature??"

"Do you know what I was feeling when suddenly you were out of my sight??"

With every question, his fingers were leaving deep marks on my skin and I was feeling discomfort on the backside of shoulder...but I suppressed my groans while he continued

"I was getting the hell scary thoughts that were shuddering my soul...I couldn't breath when you were not there right next to me....I was dead when the thought that...just like Maa you will lea

He couldn't complete...closing his eyes he paused for a second... taking a breath he continued yelling at me

"Listen Sona...Do not be in a dilemma that I am a lovesick puppy who will tolerate all your rubbish tantrums...

Do not try to play with me...

And do not DARE to come CLOSE to me...

Because I don't need YOU...

I don't need anyone

I am enough for myself"

Releasing my hand he jumped on the bed and switched off the lights and laid on the corner of the bed facing his back to me

Sighing in disappointment I laid on the other corner as there was no use in talking anything...he won't listen to me now

Due to extreme tiredness, I was dozed
off within the next few minutes...

Suddenly at midnight, I felt severe pain in my back...

Switching on the lights I glanced at him...he was in a deep slumber with his hand on my stomach clutching my hand with his fingers laced with mine tightly as if I would run away from him

Slowly and carefully I freed my hand from him and placed a pillow under his hand...

Taking the first aid box I switched off the lights and quickly ran into the washroom

Untying the dori of my salwar I pulled it a little down my shoulder and glanced at my back through the mirror

Shit it's bleeding

It's your punishment for hurting him

Well, that's true...I deserve this

And I am ready to take up this punishment

I got a deep cut on my back shoulder bone and now it was bleeding again

I had to stop the bleeding and dress the wound but I couldn't do it as the wound was on my back...

And to add to my punishment the cut was on the right side...the pain was so severe that I couldn't lift my right hand and being a right-hander I can't use my left hand effectively

I thought of giving it a try but it didn't work out...so I tried to use my right hand and ended up hissing in more pain...

Deepali was my only saviour at the odd hour...

Taking baby steps I walked out of the room with the first aid box and closed the door carefully without making any slight noise

Deepali looked worried when she came to know about my wound...she had many questions but I promised her to answer all those questions later

I requested her not to let anyone know about my injury ... especially Arjun

She dressed my wound and asked me to my rest well

Coming back to my room I slept on my left side and rested Arjun's hand on my waist

The next morning I woke up by someone calling my name "Bhabhi get up"

Opening my sleepy eyes I found Aaru standing with a worried expression

Resting my palms on the bed I straightened myself and felt heavy body pain

I checked the time and it was 9...

God, I am late...I need to hurry up

I had so much work to do...it has to be super special

So ignoring all my pain I put my legs down the bed but Aaru stopped me and gestured me to look at the side table

And that's when I saw a note on the side table

Don't you dare get down the bed

And as expected Angry Bird's anger was reached the high higher and highest peaks

Last time it was only the size of Mount Everest but this time it's a Mount Everest ka baap

But I don't care...let him be angry...I'll do what I want...

"Bhabhi you have to take this tablet...you are having a fever" Aaru said while Deepali kept the tray on the side table and said "Go freshen up first"

Quickly I got freshened up and came out while Aaru was still having the same worried expression

When I sat on the bed he made me eat the breakfast and tablet strictly like a Hitler...

"Now rest for a while" he said

"It's nothing much...I hav

"No Bhabhi... it's your husband's strict order"

"Aaru listen

"You listen to me Bhabhi" saying Aaru sat opposite to me

Holding my hands he said further
"I know everything....and I'll help you in this...but you need to take care of yourself too...I can't see you both in any kind of pain...So you relax I'll do

"I talked with Baba...he told me about your plan...but Bhabhi at least you could have informed me...he got a panic attack Bhabhi...what if I wasn't there with him??"

"You knew about his panic attacks??" I was surprised

"We all are a family Sonal...how is it possible that we will not know our own family issues" Deepali said and I was again surprised to know that

"In fact, I knew this way before but I didn't question anything to Bhai as he never wanted to talk about it...

Bhabhi...I am not interested in whatever happened in the past...and I don't want to learn the reason behind it because I trust my Baba...he will not do anything wrong...

And when it comes to Bhai...he has been the invisible protective shield... he can't even think of hurting his son"

Deepali and Aaru knowing everything was a piece of news to me...

In fact everyone was knowing about it...but they never discussed it because of Arjun...no one wanted to hurt him in any way

In the morning he instructed Aaru about her food tablets and rest...also he asked to report him after every 1hr

Placing a warning note for her he left a sweet kiss on her forehead and departed to the office

Though physically he was in office...mentally he was still in his room thinking about her...

After every one hour, he kept calling Aaru to check upon her and got the expected answer "Bhabhi is having rest"

He was relieved to know that her temperature was lowered and is having required rest

Little did he know that his cutie ghost ditched her rest and was planning something really special for him

Luckily there was no rain...unlike the last two days

After the rain there comes a beautiful rainbow painting the sky with its bright colours...it adds colours to the pale sky

Just like this Sona was all set to paint his pale life with the most beautiful memories...she was ready to add colour to his colourless life

The sun had set down....

The chirping birds were back to their nest...

Taking a quick shower he dressed into the chosen clothes...

Setting his hair and spraying his perfume he was ready

He was actually looking like a prince charming in blue...

Descending the stairs he strode to the theatre room and opened the huge sliding door

And his eyes twinkled more than any bright star...

His sparkling eyes giving tough competition to the stars in the sky...

His eyes were literally shining in a way that even the stars would get jealous and hide between the clouds
