Author's POV:

Holding her wrist Arjun dragged Sona out of the room and walked to their while she kept on struggling to get rid of his strong grip.

Entering their room he held her forearm and yelled "Have you gone mad?? Do you have any idea about what you were about to do just now??"

With all her strength she pushed him on his chest making him tremble on his feet and move a step back

"And why you are getting mad han Arjun?? Because I disturbed your lovemaking with YOUR Deeapali??"

"Are you out of your mind Sona...what the hell are you talking??

"I am talking hell??... what you guys were doing that is called hell Arjun" pointing her finger she snapped at him.

"I saw you both melting in each other's arms...yesterday you said... my words and actions affect you right...then what about your words and actions Arjun...they won't affect me?? Won't affect my heart??"

Holding her by her shoulders he tried to explain "Sona... it's nothing like you think...I'll explain to you....Chalo come we'll sit and talk"

She brushed off his hands angrily

"Stop making a fool out of me Arjun...I am not dumb...I heard you talking about divo

She couldn't even utter that word because she felt it too heavy to speak and  fresh tears began rolling down her cheeks.

Immediately he closed the distance between them and cupped her face and wiping her tears with his thumb he joined their foreheads

"Please Sona...I told you...I can't see tears in your eyes...let me explain please"

His warm touch was melting her. She wanted to believe him and hug him tight but the flashes of them hugging each other and the words about divorce from his mouth kept on striking her mind and heart that she failed to trust him. He hated seeing her crying but now he was the reason for her tears.

"It's not what you are thinking Sona...I was just comforti

Before he could finish she pushed him again and yelled at him

"Please Arjun...Why don't you just stop it now??"

Wiping her tears she burst out

"Do you know how I felt when I heard you saying those painful words... I felt a pain as if my heart was bleeding...but then too I said to myself that No Arjun can't do this...this can't be true...he can't even think of cheating me...may be I heard something wrong...it was my fault but  when I saw you both hugging and smiling then I realized that I wasn't wrong...I was a fool to believe you blindly"

"Sona won't you give me a single chance to explain my side" he begged her to prove his innocence but her anger was ten notches higher and went on accusing him

"This is the reason you didn't want to marry me...this is why you asked me for a contract marriage...so that you can marry your love right??...I know in what circumstances we got married and you married me only for a piece of land but I thought somewhere our relationship is blooming...but as said I was a fool who fell for you.... Everytime you hurt me and say sorry... and everytime it pains but I don't say any word and forgive you instantly because that's how much I lo" her breathed paused

"Sona listen" he came a step forward extending his arms. He thought of taking her in his arms.....soothe her pain and  sort out the misunderstanding but she showed her hand asking him to stop in his path.

"No...don't touch me...Don't you dare come close to me" this hurt him now as if Sona herself has stabbed a knife on his heart. It's getting even more difficult he felt but was unable to calm her and justify

Breathing heavily she continued "but you could have told me before...If you could have me before about your love then I wouldn't have come this far Arjun...what was the need for all this drama...what was the need of pretending that you love me...care for me...what was the need of playing with my emotions...She was right you are attracted to me just like other men...you are also a man just like others who get attracted to a woman physically...aren't yo

"Enough Sona" he roared like a lion and her body shivered at his elevated pitch

He lost his temper at her accusations and pinned her to the wall clenching her forearm.

His anger and pain of her accusations were pouring out at the same time through his eyes. His eyes were red and bloodshot. He looked injured not physically but emotionally.

The lioness who was fuming in anger a minute before was now shivering in fear and swallowed her saliva sensing his anger.

His grip on her forearm tightened with his rising anger and she winced in pain "Aah"

The next second he released her forearm but didn't move an inch and shut his eyes tight endeavoring to suppress his anger and pain both.

She stood still watching him in panic. He was clenching his jaw and was taking deep breaths. She moved her gaze down and saw the continuous opening and closing of his fists.

The atmosphere in the room become so intense with pin-drop silence. Only their hearbeats and  the huffing of his deep breaths were audible.

Opening his eyes he looked into hers for a brief moment and abruptly he took a step backward and facing his back to her he said in a voice as fierce as fire

"You are understanding things from your level of perception...even if I explain ... you'll take it wrong...and now I won't give you any justification  because I don't justify myself to the people who don't trust me"

Arjun stormed out of the room with a loud thud on the door and Sona stood there still not responding anything.

It is said that good things never go out but bad things spread far and wide.

It happened the same with the lovely couple.

She sat on the floor with her knees to her chest and head leaned back to the wall.

She was compiled with mixed feelings of anger..frustration..sadness..fear..guilt.

His clenched jaw...opening and closing of fists...the way he shut his eyes was enough to acknowledge that he was extremely angry. But so was she.

The thing that was making her restless were his eyes. When he opened his eyes and looked into hers...she saw something that she had never seen in him before...his eyes had pain. He looked broken..so was she.

Did I do something wrong?? Did I fail to trust him??

I should have given him a chance to explain, shouldn't I?? I should have listened to him once?? I should have trusted him, shouldn't I??

She was questioning  herself for everything she did in outrage.

"Bhabhi" she was back from her thoughts when she felt Aarav's  touch on her shoulder and heard his soft voice.

He knelt on the floor in front of her and she looked at him and her eyes brimmed with tears again. She couldn't speak out a word. It was like words were stuck in her throat.

He embraced her close to his chest caressing her head and she sobbed silently.

After getting a protective hug from Aarav, she composed herself and pulled her head back from his chest.

Wiping his Bhabhi's tears with his fingers Aarav assured her

"Mai hoon na aapke saath" (I am there with you)

He stood up and extending his hands to her he said "Chalo get up"

Placing her hand in his she stood up.

Pushing her to the washroom he ordered her "Go and freshen up first"

She entered the washroom and without wasting any second Aarav marched to Deepali's room.

"Iss Deepali ka diya to aaj main bujhakar rahunga" 

( I shall extinguish her lamp today itself)

Cursing her under his breath he pushed the door with his leg making a loud noise.

Deepali was busy carrying her clothes from the wardrobe to the bed. She looked at the door in shock hearing the loud sound but when her eyes caught the sight of an Angry lion standing at the door she breathed a sigh of relief and proceeded with her work.

Taking long paces he walked to her and whirled her clasping her forearm

"What will you take to leave this house??"

Holding his wrist she jerked his hand and replied

"Nothing"

Pointing his finger at her he warned in his stern voice "I am warning you Deepali...better you

"Don't worry Aarav...I am leaving this house...but before I leave I need to clear up the mess that is created because of me...I'll clear the misunderstanding to Sonal and leave tomorrow morning...the reason I gave a call to you is that Sonal needs you...The moment I saw Arjun going out of the house I understood that Sonal has misunderstood him and they had a fight over this...then immediately I called you... so that you can be with her and comfort her till Arjun comes back"

He looked at her in disbelief. When she called  and informed him about this he got mad at her. He thought she is going to create a mess again. But she proved him wrong. She called him for sake of Sonal.

"If you are still not Ok with this...I'll talk to Sonal and leave immediately...I won't stay here till morning"

"No that's fine...you just talk to Bhabhi and clear the misunderstanding," he said coldly

"I know you hate me to the core as we are enemies by the time we were born...but I am not that bad as you think...I  have a heart too Aarav...the heart that was hurt... that was broken...and you know what...hearts aren't supposed to break and hurt...hearts are supposed to love...supposed to learn"

Aarav was speechless.

The girl who was his enemy since childhood...The girl to whom he gave a nickname DQD Drama Queen Deepali was now a girl whose heart was deeply hurt💔.

He missed his DQD who used to irritate him with her dance...with her songs...with her nonstop chattering.

A strange feeling rushed to his heart. Cutting off the distance between them he hugged her encircling his strong arms around her.

She was surprised at his unexpected movement that her eyes popped out. Never ever she thought that the boy who hated her the most would hug her so close. She experienced a warm feeling in his arms and unconsciously her body reciprocated the hug.

Arjun on the other hand was hurt and broken because of her accusations and was driving his car rashly on the road.

He was not knowing where he was going. He just went on driving at a full speed.

Tears never stopped their outpouring from his eyes. He kept on wiping it and his eyes continued to burst out the pain.

"Don't touch me....don't come close to me"

"You are physically attracted to me just like other men"

"You cheated me"

"Your care was a drama"

"Your love is fake"

All her sharp words were penetrating millions of needles straight and deep into his heart.

"Why Sona...why don't you trust me??"

"Am I not worthy of your trust??"

"How could you accuse me of such things??"

"How could you even think of me in such a wrong way??"

"How could you say that my love is fake??"

"Why did you speak so hurtfully to me Sona??"

"Am I that bad??"

"I am hurt Sona..I am hurt so much that my heart feels like it is stabbed thousands of time....my heart is not strong Sona that is why I hide it deep inside  an iron cage"

He was babbling to himself wiping his tears. 

He believed that to love is to endure pain. Love is a slow poison that kills you...kills your heart. And his belief was proven true today.

Holding up the immense pain in his heart he went on driving ignoring the route and his speed.

Suddenly a huge vehicle came opposite his way and a large flash of light hit his eyes causing his vision to get blur. He couldn't see anything in front of him except the orange flashes of the huge vehicle. He heard the horn sound and lost control over  the steering and  his car was about to get crashed with the vehicle but within a fraction of seconds he turned the steering to the left and
