Sonal's POV:

Warm yellow rays streamed through the window directly from the sun to my face.

I was so lazy to wake up. Turning sideways I moved my hand on the bed to check out my sleeping baby. When I moved my hand...the soft touch of the bed forced my eyes to open.

I opened my blurry eyes and saw the other side of the bed was clear. He is up and must be busy with his workout...I concluded stretching my body. Pulling up my upper body I straightened myself and brought my knees close to my chest. Resting my hands on my knees a pleasant smile crinkled my lips.

Tracing my hand on the back of my neck I recalled the night incident only to make my smile go wider. I had the best sleep last night.

I checked the clock and it was striking 9. I slept for so long. I was late. I jumped out of the bed and rushed to the washroom. Taking a quick shower I got dressed up and was leaving the room. I held the doorknob to open the door but from outside someone pushed the door which hit my head.

"Ouch" I hissed in pain taking a step back and rubbing the part of my forehead where I got hurt

"Oh shit...I am so sorry Sona...I was not knowing that you are exactly at the door...sorry sorry" he apologized entering the room and immediately cupped my face with his strong hands.

"Kaha lagi chot" ( where did you get hurt) he asked with a worried face and concerned voice.

"Yaha" ( here) I pointed at the corner of my forehead making a puppy face.

With one of his hands, he held the back of my head and with the other, he applied a bit of pressure on my forehead so that it won't swell.

"Ahh... it's hurting" I winced in pain and clutched his t-shirt.

"Sorry Sona...but I have to do this"

With his tensed face...the care and affection in his eyes...he was rubbing my forehead to soothe the pain.

Releasing my hands from his shirt I slid them down encircling his waist and rested my head on his chest closing my eyes.  I locked my hands behind because I didn't want to him leave like last time...I had a strange fear within me...maybe a fear of losing him..but very soon the fear vanished as Arjun wrapped his protective arms around me.

The moment his protective arms came in contact with my body a warm feeling aroused inside me. How much I missed this...his warm embrace...How much I missed him.

A warm long hug after the separation.  A hug was full of emotions and pain. It had a magic... the magic of love.

We were so engrossed cherishing our magical hug. The moment was frozen for us as if the earth has stopped.

"Are oo duffer.. uski bahon me baadme kho jana...pehle revenge ka soch" (duffer...think of the revenge first later on enjoy the hug) my inner voice warned.

"I don't want any revenge...I want only him...you shut up" and I snuggled my face more into his chest.

"Sona remember you cried for many nights...let him know that you are hurt..let him know his mistake"

I thought it was right...he did a mistake and should pay for it. So I unwillingly pushed him and stepped back from the hug

He was surprised at my sudden action and raised his brows giving me a questioning look.

"You did a mistake...so for that you will be punished Mr. Arjun" I instructed him crossing my hands

Slowly he lifted his hands and holding his ears he apologized with a puppy face which had a cutie pout on his lips "I am sorry sona"

Aww....how can my Angry bird be so adorable..sometimes he is too cute to handle.

But I had to maintain my anger mode. I controlled myself not to get melt for his cute face and cute actions.

"Your sorry is not acceptable...you will be punished and that's final"

"Sona...listen

Pointing a finger  I cut him " you listen to me Arjun...I will maintain a safe distance from you"

"What do you mean by safe distance Sona??"

Again crossing my hands I replied "Social distancing my dear husband...Don't you know...Modi Ji ne Kaha hai social distancing ka Palan Karo" and I raised my brows at him.

He giggled at my words and crossing his hands he questioned "Acha Ji...so where were your Modiji and your so-called social distancing when you were sleeping cuddling into my arms last night" and raised his brows as I did.

"Hello...it was you who initiated first...you rested your hand on my waist first...I thought you were tired from the long journey so let's not disturb you because I don't like disturbing others when they sleep peacefully" I rolled my eyes at him😏

"Don't lie sona"

"Why would I lie"

"I am sure you must have been  fascinated by my sleeping prince charming image and you couldn't control yourself and cuddle into my arms...after all, I look adorable when I sleep"

Adorable... Sleeping Prince charming...was he pretending to be asleep??

Waving his hand in front of my eyes he asked "where are you lost??"

"Prince charming... Adorable... you.. you

"Ha Prince charming... it was my nickname during my college days" before I could clarify my doubt he interrupted

"I was supposed to be the Prince charming of all the girls in the college...all girls used to drool over me...they used to compliment me for being the most handsome guy.. you know about my fan following, don't you??" He said with a playful smile and winked an eye at me.

"In that case...why don't you go back to your loving fans... there's no need of me... anyhow you are so happy without me...so I'll leav

The words got stuck in my mouth when he grabbed my hand and pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. What was wrong with him??

"Arjun" my voice came out of confusion due to his sudden change.

For which he squeezed more into me...which means don't talk...that's the thing which I learned about him. I moved my hands at his back and began caressing gently. I realized the reason behind his sudden action.

"Arjun...I was just kidding...I didn't mean it...that wasn't serious" I tried to explain to him caressing his back

"Don't...Don't ever say that again...not even in joke...you are not going anywhere...neither you are leaving me nor you are going away from me...not even in dreams" he buried  his face into the crook of my neck and his hold on me tightened as if his life was dependent on me.

I kept rubbing his back for a while.
I felt his hold on me loosened a bit and his hands reached my waist. His head was bowed down. I placed my palms over his cheeks and made him look into my eyes. The next moment I was stunned to see his eyes tearing up. But immediately he shut his eyes tightly trying to hide his pain.

His teary eyes reflected all the pain he went through the past 10 days. I noticed some kind of fear in his eyes. He won't open up easily. He piles up everything within his heart.

I don't know why he did all that...what was the reason for his weird behavior...nothing mattered to me at that moment...the only thing that mattered to me was his fear.... his pain...

I wanted to snatch out his pain from his heart...from his eyes. Slowly I moved my lips to his right eye and placed a soft kiss over there. Then I moved my lips to his left eye and placed one more soft kiss.

"Arjun...open your eyes please" I whispered softly

He opened his eyes and I got a relief looking at his eyes. He felt better now.

"Where will I go Arjun...See I am right here with you...close to you...close to your heart...I am not going anywhere leaving my Angry Bird...you are the  unseparable part of my soul Arjun" I admitted and pressed my lips gently to his forehead.

I thought of taking mini revenge from him but ended up apologizing over a silly statement which turned out to be a strong reason to hurt him. He has become my weakness.  Every time I had to bend my knees in front of him. I had to bend down in front of My king who rules over my heart.

"Let's have breakfast" saying I tried to free myself from his hold but he locked his hands behind my waist. I looked at him raising a brow for which he just shook his head into a no making an innocent face. God whenever he does that...he looks damn cute. I hooked up my hands at the back of his neck and his lips curved up.

"You scared me that day...what happened to you at midnight 3:30" he asked

"I had a dream" I answered in a low voice

"Dreamt about me??" He had a playful smile now

"Why would I dream about you??"

"Then??"

"I had a dream of my prince charming"

"May I know the name of your prince charming"

"Shh..that's a secret"

"Acha Ji"

"Han Ji"

He was calm for the next minute...Maybe he felt disappointed as I didn't reveal the name of my prince charming. But purposefully I didn't take the name. Samajhdar ko ishaara Kafi hai...hai na😉😉 ( the gesture is sensible enough...isn't it)

"Umm..what were you doing at that time...you picked up my call within a single ring...weren't you sleeping??" I questioned him

"No....I wasn't sleeping" he answered very casually

"Why were you not sleeping??"

"Don't know"

"Umm....were you missing me??"

"Why would I miss you??"

"Then??"

"I was missing someone" he answered with a playful smile.

"And who was the one"

"Don't you know her"

"Umm..maybe I know her..but I want to hear it from you"

"Ok....then look deeply into eyes"

I moved my body a bit closer to him such that my bossom touched his hard chest and looked into hypnotic eyes.

"I missed the hell out of the one whose replica you are seeing right now in my eyes"

His words brought a pink tint to my cheeks

"Got the answer??"

I nodded and joined my forehead with his. That was eternity❤

After our cute cozy couple moment we came downstairs to have breakfast. I rushed to the kitchen and began making tea for him.

Soon I made tea and poured into his cup and gave it to him. Aarav was already having his breakfast.

"Bhai...why do you look different today??...i mean there's a glow on your face...anything special??" And as usual Arjun threw fruit at him making him shut his mouth.

"Bhabhi you sit and have your breakfast....you slept last night with an empty stomach...I felt not to disturb the love birds having a cozy cozy moment...so I didn't wake you up" he winked an eye at me...such a naughty boy he is.

"Sona...can I get one more cup of tea please" he requested me in his soft voice.

"I'll get it"

I wondered why he had 2 cups today that to one after the other immediately.

After breakfast, I was back in my room to collect my stuff as I was getting late for work.

"Sona" I looked at him through the mirror and then turned.

"Sona...Umm...can I ask you for something??"

"Sure my dear husband"

"Sona...vo...I want to eat the food cooked by you...can yo

" What do you want to eat??" I interrupted him. How silly of him...there's nothing to ask for...directly he can tell me to cook.

"Anything that you make," he said excitedly

I held his hands "You don't have to ask me for such silly things Arjun...I love cooking for my people... especially for you" I said adding pressure on the word YOU.

"You come back home tired Sona...I don't want to make you even more tired... it's just that I have been eating the hotel food for the past days so my tongue is craving for homemade food...so I asked you"

How sweet of you my cutie pie... How much do you care about me...

"Come soon at night...I'll be waiting for you" I released his hands and began packing my stuff into my bag.

"Sona..look there's a beautiful butterfly at the window," he said pointing at the window

I turned sideways to look at the window and quickly he pecked my cheeks "Thank you and have a good day"

He left the room and I was rooted to the floor by his cute gesture.

Night time:

As he was having the spicy hotel food I thought of deciding a simple menu for dinner. According to that, I made Baingan ka Bharta, Masala bhindi, Phulka, jeera rice and a simple tadkewali daal with salad. I thought of making carrot halwa but was scared that the history gonna repeat...so I didn't dare to go for it.
 
The dinner was ready and soon three of them arrived. Whenever we have our two monkeys Aarav and Rohan with us we have a fun time.

Arjun was happy eating the homemade food. Aarav and Rohan teased him for eating like a hungry lion. But they were happy too as Arjun who was not that particular about food is now happily enjoying each and every bite of food.

After dinner, I went to my room and found Arjun standing in the balcony.
I walked to him and stood beside him....and did my favorite thing which I missed the most...lacing my fingers with his I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I am sorry sona" he spoke

Lifting my head I asked "For what"

"Last night....we both...I mean you and me....on the same bed...I am sorry...I made it uncomfortable for you...I promise it won't happen again" he was apologizing for something he has not even done.

I slapped my forehead. And again he said sorry

"You know what Arjun...tum na sach me dumbo ho" (you are a dumbo)

He was still not convinced.

"Arjun...as I told you before...I never get uncomfortable when you touch me...and about last night...it was the best night...I feel secure in your arms...and I don't mind sleeping in the same  position again" with the last line I couldn't meet his gaze so I looked down

"What??" He sounded a bit confused. Yaar he is really the biggest Dumbo🤦. Can someone please tell him that we are a couple.🤦

I dragged him to the bed and explained "the bed is big enough to accommodate two people on it...so we can share the bed"

"Pakka??" He asked for a confirmation

"Ha baba pakka"

We laid on the opposite corners of the bed and mumbling a good night we fell asleep watching each other.

Authors POV:

Arjun and Sona had awesome moments ...They enjoyed it a lot❤❤. They thought everything is fine now. Arjun was finally trying to open up a little and express himself. They were sleeping peacefully.

Little did they know that some evil eyes are planning to ruin their happiness.

"I won't leave you that easily Arjun...you were mine and will be mine...nobody can change this fact...ill destroy everything that comes in my way to make you mine...you are mine...only mine"
