Sonal's POV:

Nowadays Arjun has been working like a robot on his new project. When Rohan and Aarav leave, Arjun still works excess spending half of the night in the study room. This time I did not make an effort to disturb him because this project is extremely important for him....that is why he is working so hard on it.

But I made sure that he'll have adequate rest by discontinuing his workout session for a few days till the project gets over. Every day I used to wake up before him and change his alarm timing and made him sleep for those 2hrs. Those 2hrs which he spends on his bodybuilding was of no use😏

Flashback

"What the hell Sona...why did you change my alarm timing?? What about my workout??" With his wide eyes, Arjun woke up checking his phone

I was busy getting ready in front of the dressing table so I didn't look at him  "Relax Arjun... it's just a workout session"

Walking towards the wardrobe he spoke "You know that I am very particular about my workout"

"Ha ha pata hai...I know why you are so particular about your workout...You want to expand your fan following...you want to impress more and more girls just like you did at the beach"

"Acha Ji...so you are taking indirect revenge...You don't want others to check out my body...you don't want your husband to look hot in front of others...am I right??"

"Don't think too much about yourself Mr. Arjun...you are not that hoo" I was turning to the wardrobe direction but found Arjun standing in front of me at a one-step distance in his track pants messy hairs and towel around the neck with no shirt on his upper body.

I didn't notice when he walked and stood behind me. When I turned, his messy hairs and the towel around the neck which hardly covered his bare chest and well-built abbs made my words stop in their path.

He came close to me cutting off the one-step distance and said  "Bolo Sona I am listening...you were saying that I am not hot"

I was helpless to speak looking at him so I closed my eyes tight due to shyness and managed to utter something "Vo...You are getting late"

I felt his breath on my neck and I gasped clutching  the comb in my hand due to his closeness

"Meri Chai banado" he whispered in his husky voice

Opening my eyes I nodded but didn't dare to look at him because of the hypnotic effect of his deep eyes which never fails to captivate me.

I was in my room walking restlessly glancing at the clock hung on the wall. The clock struck 3 am. Arjun hasn't come back to the room yet. Ye ladka sachme nhi sudhrega 🤦🤦

I went to the study room. Opening the door I peeped inside and found Arjun leaning on the chair with his eyes closed. His laptop has closed which means he has finished his work I concluded. I knew what he was thinking.

Taking silent footsteps I walked towards him and began massaging his temples. The moment my hand made contact with his body his lips curved up with closed eyes. I massaged his temples and forehead for a while...later moved my hands to his neck and shoulders giving him a massage for a good 5 minutes.

Opening his eyes he gestured me to sit opposite to him on the table slab. I did as he said.

"Why didn't you sleep yet Sona??"

"I am not feeling sleepy"

"Why??"

I just shrugged my shoulders in response.

Folding his hands he said "It's 3 Sona...you should sleep now"

Repeating his action I said "It's 3 Arjun...you should sleep too"

Unfolding his hands he replied "My work is not finished yet...it will take time"

"You think I am Dumbo??".... Your laptop is closed that means your work is finished...and stop acting Arjun" I scoffed

"Acting??" He raised his brow

"Ha acting...You always act in front of everyone...but I know you very well..you are not the one whom you always try to present in front of everyone"

"Acha...what do you know about me??"

"You pretend to be strong and authorized person who takes firm decisions...you pretend to be insensitive who doesn't care about anything...you pretend that whatever happens around you won't affect you...but that's not the truth"

He leaned forward and asked in a soft voice "Then what's the truth??"

"You become weak when your loved one is going away for you...your heart cries when you are hurt ...you are extremely sensitive...everything that happens around you affects you to the core that you spend sleepless nights thinking about those things...you are not the Akdu Arjun that you always present yourself"

I was eagerly waiting for his answer but "Hmm" was the only word he uttered

"See again you are acting...you should get the best actor award...why don't you try in movies Mr. Arjun" I taunted him

"Thanks for the compliment" saying this he was getting up from the chair but I held his shoulder and pushed him back to the chair

"Sachchi...you should try in movies...you have a good body... well-sculptured face....hypnotic eyes...mesmerizing voice and what not...you are a perfect hero material...who saves the heroine from villains...you will have a mast filmy fight with the villains...first you will fight with the dozen chamchas of the villain...then it will be the villains turn...you will kick him...punch him...throw him in the water...and finally your heroine will come running to you in a slow-motion...throwing her arms around your neck she will say...Thanks, Arjun tumne mujhe bacha liya...tum nhi aate to mera kya hota..I love you Arjun..I love you" I spoke in an extremely dramatic manner along with my hand actions

And the next minute Arjun started laughing loudly holding his stomach. See I told you all..he can't win over me😜😜. Until his laughing session, I kept staring at him.

"You look adorable when you laugh" I confessed

"We should sleep... it's late" he got from the chair

"Sit" holding his wrist I instructed but he refused nodding his head

Pouting my face I pleaded "Please"

Finally, he took a seat. I outstretched my hands and he understood what I meant so he rested his hands on mine.
Clasping his hands I explained "I know that this project is extremely important to you because you want to train Aarav through this project...you want to involve him in this so that he can learn and implement his knowledge in a better and efficient way...you have the responsibility towards him... towards his future... and I am sure that you will succeed"

"Tomorrow's conference is the most crucial one...I am..

"You are nervous...hai na" I completed his words

He nodded a yes like a small kid

"Arjun...you have worked so hard for this...and there's no doubt about your caliber...you can conquer anything you wish to... it's just a business deal ...you are thinking too much and getting nervous...I am damn sure that you will crack this deal easily...I trust your efficiency...I trust you Arjun"

He did not speak anything...he was just gazing at me. He looked relaxed..that is what I wanted.

I freed both our hands "and tell me one thing...you have an important conference tomorrow then too your still awake till 3...you have to look and feel fresh tomorrow....and for that you must have enough rest...not only for the body but also for your brain which always goes on cooking some unnecessary stuff" saying this I slapped his forehead lovingly.

And we smiled at each other😊

"Sona..how do you come to know everything about me even if I don't speak a single word to you...what I feel... what's running in my mind...what I want to say...you recognize everything about me... how Sona??"

I leaned forward to match his eye level such that I could see my reflection in his fascinating eyes and admitted "your eyes...they speak volumes to me in unsaid words"

We were frozen for a moment until he confessed "Tumhari aankhen mujhse kai sawaal karti hai Sona"

"To un sawaalon ke jawaab bhi dedo"

He moved his gaze down. I knew that he was still not willing to open up...he needs time. I placed my palm over his cheek and made him look at me.

"Koi jaldi nhi hai Arjun...take your own time...sawaal jawaab ke liye to puri life hai hamare paas...hai na"

He placed his hand over mine which was on his cheek and nodded with a slight smile.

Abruptly I jumped down the table and said "let's dance"

"What" he responded being completely shocked by my sudden statement.

I dragged him from the chair "Offo Arjun....I said let's dance"

"Sona..I can't dance"

"Ha to Mai kaunsi Prabhu deva ki aaulad hu🤦🤦"

I played the song in my phone and  rested my hands on his chest. I don't know why but I always love feeling his heartbeats. I love the way his heart thumps. I love the rhythm of his heartbeats.

The music started. Arjun encircled his hands around my waist and we were swaying to the melody never breaking eye contact.

The song came to an end and we were standing still cherishing the moment. After few seconds he pulled me into a tight hug. No words were spoken after that...Me Arjun and our warm embrace...that's it.

Next morning

Arjun was getting dressed in front of the mirror. Picking up his coat from the bed  I walked to him. He noticed my presence through the mirror and smiled at me. I slid up the coat up to his shoulders from  the back and he adjusted the coat.

I stood beside him in front of the mirror holding his forearm having eye contact through the mirror. I looked at the reflection on the mirror and someone commented

"Aww... you look so lovely together Mr. & Mrs. Arjun"

And it was none other than my inner voice who is ever ready to tease me🤦. But this time I agreed with my inner voice. Indeed we look adorable together❤️.

I was slightly blushing on my confession but then Arjun raised his brows asking the reason behind that.

Coming back to my senses, I wished him "Go and kill it...the victory is all yours"

He smiled and we left our room for breakfast.

We had our breakfast and Arjun was leaving for office.

"I might get late today..so don't wait for me...you have your dinner on time...Ok"

"All the best"

He left towards the main door but then I saw his phone on the dining table.

"Arjun" I called him and he turned back

Picking up the phone I walked to him

"You forgot your phone"

Taking the phone from my hand he said "Thank you, Sona..what would I do without you"  he hugged me... pecked my cheek...and left.

Everything happened within a fraction of seconds that I didn't even realize what happened just now. He pecked me on the cheek.
