"Hii Miss Sonal" my thoughts got interrupted by a strange voice

Turning towards the voice I saw a boy of Kartik's age wearing casual Jeans and a t-shirt...the thing that caught my attention was his bright shiny eyes same as Arjun's.

"Don't you have the habit of greeting back??" He mocked me pointing at his extended hand

"Umm... hii" shaking my hand hesitantly I greeted him back

"Aarav Baba vo" Amma was walking towards him but he waved his hand up which made her stop in her track along with the words in her mouth. So his name is Aarav I said to myself.

Folding his hands in front of his chest he questioned me in a strong tone "So you are Arjun's wife??"

"Ha" I replied back in a lower voice.

"How long you have been married??"

He dropped one more question. He has come here to interrogate me?? I thought...but why is he asking me such questions?? His presence is making me tensed that my palms started sweating... And where the hell is Arjun??

"2 months" encircling his arm around my shoulder Arjun answered.

With this our eyes met and began their conservation with unsaid words "where were you??... I needed you" my eyes questioned for which he just blinked his eyes assuring me "Don't worry ...I am right here with you "

Getting the assurance from him a smile emerged on my lips. Eyes have the power to speak the unspoken words, isn't it ??

"Don't you dare to talk Mr. Arjun" Aarav yelled in his stern voice pointing his finger at Arjun

Taking back his arm which was around my shoulder Arjun stepped forward and spoke in a soft voice

"Kaisa hai Mera bachcha??"

Taking a step back Aarav  replied "I won't talk to the person who cheated me"

Holding his ears  Arjun apologized with his cutest face "Sorry"

"I hate you Bhai...all the time you do this ...making me melt for your love... saying sorry with your cute face" saying this he rushed and throwing his arms around Arjun's neck he hugged him tightly.

Arjun reciprocated the brotherly hug with a huge smile which was reflecting his happiness meeting his sweetheart.

"You always cheat me" Aarav spoke breaking the hug

Arjun caressed Aarav's cheek and then taking Arjun's hand in his which was still caressing Aarav's cheek he said in a lower voice "you know Bhai... I missed you so much" his eyes were slightly watered expressing his pain of being away from his brother.

This time it was Arjun who pulled him into a bone-crushing hug which showed that he too missed his little brother so badly.

I was so immersed in the beautiful moment between the two lovely brothers that I stood still gazing at them in awe.

After their cute hug, both of them looked at me first and then exchanged glances with each other communicating something between them.

Aarav walked towards me and stood in front of me with a big smile on his face. The next thing he did was unexpected... bending down he touched my feet and I was standing like a statue not responding at all because I was so overwhelmed by his act. That was the first time when someone touched my feet taking blessings from me. I looked at Arjun who was standing opposite to me...he just nodded his head indicating me to bless his little brother.

"Bhabhi won't you bless your sweet little Devar?? I won't be able to bend down for a long period" ... then I realized that he is still bent down.

Immediately I held his shoulder.  Making him stand and playing with his hair I blessed him "God bless you bachcha"

"Offo!! Bhabhi you both are alike... even Bhai plays with my hair ruining the hairstyle" setting his hair Aarav scoffed

Everyone laughed at his cute actions.

"Amma where's my tea??" Arjun was back to his serious mode busy with his phone🤦

"Bhai I thought you have changed after marriage...but I was wrong..you are still the same tea-addicted person... I guess it would be your 3rd cup till now"

"No Bhaiya... Bhabhi has strictly ordered that Arjun Bhaiya will not have more than 2 cups.. one in the morning and one in the evening.. that's it..not at least a half cup more than that" Madhavi Didi explained to Aarav about the tea restrictions on Arjun.

"Is it true Bhai??" He asked making a shocked face

Arjun's eyes were stuck to his phone...

"There's no other option left for him" I replied on behalf of my husband and immediately Arjun's gaze was shifted to me

Encircling his arm around my shoulder Aarav said "from today we both are a team bhabhi... till now it was only me to whom Bhai would never say no...but now it's you and me...he can never say no to us.. not even in his dreams...so we can blackmail him anytime... what say bhabhi??"

"Sounds a good idea" I answered looking at Arjun with a mischievous smile

With this, we gave a high five to each other celebrating our newly formed team and Arjun slapped his forehead... maybe he was thinking of his future consequences😜

"Aarav Baba... today's breakfast is full of your favorite dishes... just a 10 min more everything will be ready" saying this Amma and Madhavi Didi were back to their work.

"What about my tea??.. Will I get it today??" Angry Arjun taunted me

"Will be ready within 5 min" I excused myself and moved to the kitchen.

It was breakfast time. The table was full of Aarav's favorite food and his talks. I served the parathas in their plates and sat next to Arjun.

"Bhai today's schedule is fixed...first we are going to watch a movie then lunch and finally we'll enjoy the sunset at the beach..hows the plan bhabhi??"

"Awesome...which movie are you planning for??" excitedly I asked about the movie as I am a movie lover.

"Will decide it later...first eat this" serving the paratha in my plate Arjun ordered.

Shutting up my mouth I obeyed his order and we enjoyed food listening to Aarav's stories about his college colleagues and studies.

( Aarav has wrapped up his MBA and is back from London )

"Bhai and bhabhi...I have to make an important call...you guys go get ready I'll be waiting in the garden" saying this we stood up from the chair.

"Umm...Sona if you don't mind can you take a leave today??" His voice was audible only to me and sounded a little hesitant

"I'll go and change" were my only words with a thin smile

I was ready in my jeans-Kurta and Arjun was wearing sky blue jeans and his favorite black shirt with sleeves folded up to his elbows. God his black obsession🤦.

The day went on in a full swing. The day was full of satisfaction pleasure and enjoyment. We watched the movie with me sitting between my two bodyguards in the theatre. We enjoyed our lunch in Aarav's favorite restaurant and finally ended the day on the beach witnessing the beautiful sunset.

I must say that Aarav is the carbon copy of Arjun when it comes to taking care of his loved ones. He was so protective towards me when we were on the beach playing with water and sand.

We were on the way back home in my not-so-good mood. Arjun was driving while Aarav was busy scrolling down his mobile sitting back on the passenger seat.

"I want to go shopping" I demanded in a stern voice not looking at Arjun

"Will go some other time Sona...not now...you both are exhausted playing on the beach " Arjun answered in his cool voice focussing on his driving

"I said I want to go shopping that's it" my voice was still harsh

"Ok fine" Arjun replied being confused about my sudden change in the mood

Reaching the nearby mall I dragged him to the men's clothing store. Selecting a couple of shirts of all colors except black I handed a navy blue shirt to him

"Go and change" I ordered him

He was about to utter a word but I didn't let him succeed. Pointing my finger at him I whispered angrily "chup bilkul chup"

He sensed the anger in my voice so without any further argument he changed into the blue shirt. He was paying the bill but I denied and paid the bill with my card and finally, we headed towards home. Aarav witnessed all the mess with his mischievous smile.

Reaching home straight away I rushed to my room to calm down. Getting into the washroom I took a quick shower blabbering some stupid things to myself. Wiping my hair I came out of the washroom in my salwar kameez and there was the culprit Arjun putting the newly bought shirts in the wardrobe.

He looked at me but I rolled my eyes ignoring him and walked past him

"May I know the reason for your mood off ??" He pleaded Folding his hands

Picking up the phone from the table I handed it to him and motioned him to turn on the video. The video which Aarav  recorded secretly when I was busy eating my sweetcorn

And the video began.

"God look at his abs yaar..so perfectly carved...he has a sexy body and look at his broad chest yaar"

"He is looking damn hot in black... it's so hard to control when such a hottie is being shirtless in front of us...l wish I could be his girlfriend yaar"

Arjun was openly being shirtless on the beach and some stupid girls were commenting on him.

He watched the video and he started blushing which made my blood boil. How can this idiot blush at such stupid comments??

"Seriously Arjun...you are blushing??" I yelled at him

"How can you blush idiot??"

He chuckled "their comments are making me blush"

"You are such a shameless...go away and don't talk to me" pointing my finger again I yelled out and was leaving but then he held my wrist making me stop but I didn't turn...he was still facing my back.

"Some boys were running on the beach and accidentally one of them bumped on my chest spilling all the cold drink on my torso.... so I unbuttoned my shirt and rinsed it off with water....that's it, Sona"

"How can you do it openly in front of those girls...how can you do this Arjun?? I questioned back looking at him with a frowning face

Gently he held my shoulders "I was unaware about the fact that the girls are drooling over me... will I ever do something like that??...don't you know me Sona ha??" his voice was full of innocence

"But you did it Arjun" I shrugged off his hands and went on accusing him

"You were exposing your body openly...and those ridiculous girls were nicely enjoying it passing on some idiotic comments...how can you do this such a stupid thing ??...one more thing...from now onwards you are going to wear those shirts which I bought....don't you dare wear any black shirt again in front of any girl except me...samjhe??"

I felt like I was out of breath and panting because of my constant yelling so I took a deep breath and started again " you know what till now I have not seen you shirtless but today you revealed it to those girls...how can you be so shameless Arjun??

He stepped forward closing off the distance between us and whispered "Ohh...so the actual problem is...you didn't get the chance to check out my body"

I opened and closed my mouth like a fish listening to his words.

Placing my hands on his chest I took a step back "Do not assume yourself as a Greek God"

"Acha...I guess someone was praising me yesterday....someone told me that I am effortlessly handsome and have a hot body" again he stepped forward with a teasing smile and in a reflex action, I stepped back.

This continued for a couple of steps until my back hit the wall. Now I was trapped between the wall and his tough body.

Slowly lifting his hands he placed them to the wall on either side of my shoulder not breaking the eye contact.

"You are jealous of those girls...Right, Sona??"

His closeness was making it hard for me to talk back. I was clutching the hem of my kurta in nervousness.

He leaned even more closer cutting off the distance between us which was merely an inch and whispered in his husky voice "It is not a fault of mine, so don't accuse your innocent husband"

His hot breath on my cheek and neck is sending shivers down my spine. My cheeks turning red and my heart pounding fast as an effect of his closeness.

With his right hand, he started opening the top two bottoms of his shirt revealing his muscular chest.

"Wh..aa..t are you doing??" I could hardly speak watching his actions

"You wanted to see me shirtless na ...your wish is my command" saying this his hand went on the third button.

With all my strength I pushed him on the chest and ran out of the room.

Running out of the room I cupped my cheeks which were heated up. Was it for real?? Was it a moment between us??

Night time:

Arjun and Aarav were in the study room spending quality time sharing their brotherly love. I was in the kitchen heating up the milk for the brothers.

"Bhabhi shall I invite them for dinner?? asked Madhavi Didi

"No didi...we are already full because of the heavy lunch ...just give them these glasses of warm milk....it will be enough" pouring the milk in the glasses I explained.

Picking up the tray she went to the study room and I was back to my room. Sitting on the bed I cuddled the pillow and the moment that happened between us replayed in my mind and again I was turned pink.

"Aha Mrs. Arjun...being so possessive for your handsome husband" my inner voice commented

The announcement from my inner voice made my cheeks even more pinkish. I loved the way I was glowing thinking about Arjun.

I was engrossed in my thoughts and then Aarav yelled from downstairs "Bhabhi"

Immediately I ran to the living area.
"Ha Aarav...do you need something??"

"No bhabhi... it's time for me to leave" he looked sad whereas I was confused with his words

"Where are you going??..Aren't you staying with us??"

Looking at Arjun who was behind me he said "I have always dreamt of staying with my whole family together" and then shifting his gaze at me he spoke "but it's not in my hand bhabhi...Maa Baba must be waiting for me"

Both the brothers who were on cloud nine meeting each other...spent the whole day together happily were now extremely sad. The faces which were gleaming the whole day turned pale.

He ran towards Arjun and hugged him tightly which conveyed that he doesn't want to leave his brother...he wants to stay with his Bhai

Arjun didn't hug him back. He stood there not responding with his closed eyes. Karan broke the hug and Arjun quickly rushed to the room without glancing back.

I knew the reason behind Arjun's weird behavior. He won't express his emotions. He always pretends to be too strong.

Walking close to him I cupped his right cheek with my palm "Drive safe and message me once you reach"

Touching my hand which was caressing his cheek he nodded.

"Take care of yourself and look after Maa Baba...Don't worry about Arjun he'll be fine... I am there with him..." giving a warm hug caressing his back I assured him

"Love you bhabhi" he said hugging me back

Pulling back from the hug I played with his hair "We love you too baccha"

Finally, there was a slight smile on his face.

Arjun was standing in the balcony staring at the moon. He was still in his morning clothes. I stood next to him holding the railing.

"Why do you like the moon the most??" Staring the moon I asked him

His gaze fixed on the moon "Because the moon is a loyal companion...it never leaves us...its always there watching us...knowing us in the dark moments...it has a lot of stories to tell.. it's so strong that no one can ever unlock its heart... it all alone...just like me"

Sliding down my hand I held his palm warmly and laced my fingers through his and looking at him I whispered "you are not alone...you have me with you...hai na"

Gazing at me with his deep orbs his lips crinkled into a smile.

Holding his forearm with my other hand I rested my head on his shoulder and both of us were lost in the beauty of the moon.

"Yes, Arjun...you are like a moon...who has a dark side which you never show to anyone...I want to listen to all your untold stories and will be eagerly waiting for that moment to hear them from you...the hidden fear inside you will vanish very soon...I will unlock your heart and make it smile..its a promise" I spoke to my heart but it was more for Arjun's heart.

"She said nothing with her voice and everything with her caring touch" ❤
