Entering home directly I went to kitchen and asked Radha didi about Maa Baba's return.

"Radha didi...are Maa Baba at home??"

"Ha didi they came back at lunch time"

"Acha... how's their mood??"

"I have no idea didi... Badimaa said that they had lunch outside and Dada is having headache so be careful that no one disturbs them... when I went to their room to give them their evening tea I felt that they both are tensed"

"Ok"

"Didi shall I make coffee for you??"

"Ha ..till then I'll change and come"

It was dinner time and I was
sitting in the balcony looking at the beautiful sky.

There was a knock on the door disturbing my peace ... I opened the door.

"Didi dinner is ready ..Badimaa is calling you" Radha didi informed me

"Hmm"

We both went down to the dining table.

"Badimaa I am leaving" saying this Radha didi left. And I sat opposite to Baba.

"How was your day Sona??"

"Good Baba...and Maa afternoon I had a heavy lunch so don't force me to eat much .. Ok.. I'll eat how much I want" I said to Maa in somewhat childish tone.

"As u wish your highness"

Without any further conversation we had dinner. No one among us spoke a single word which was clearly indicating the tension and disturbance we were facing .

I finished my food soon and informed Maa Baba that I'll have a walk for sometime in the garden. I got up from the chair to leave but Baba stopped me

"Sona I wanna talk to you regarding something very important.. after having a walk meet us in our room"

"Ok Baba" and I left

I was walking in the garden. I knew what Baba is going to talk about and I was ready with my answer as well.

After sometime I went to Maa Baba's room and knocked the door

"Ha bachche get in" Maa said

I entered the room . Maa Baba were sitting on the bed and I sat opposite to them. Maa Baba looked at each other. Maa placed her hand on Baba's shoulder to make him feel good. And then Baba started.

"Sona ..bacche ..vo"

I was able to feel the nervousness in his voice. I held both his hands in mine .

"Baba... I know what you wanna talk to me"

Maa Baba exchanged their glances and then looked at me . I continued

"Kartik told me everything ...and I am ready for all this"

"But Sona it's not like that ... I mean .."

I interrupted him "Baba don't worry I am not saying this just because of that deal or your dream project . I am wholeheartedly ready for all this because there's nothing wrong in this..may be Arjun and I are meant to be together..I agree that the way the proposal came out is little not happening but may be that's destiny .....destiny to bring us together..hai na??"

"Listen bachche there's no need to take decision under any kind of pressure...you are free to make the own decision of your life"

"Baba I said I am wholeheartedly ready for this... I am not a kid anymore.. I can take my own decision which is good for me and my life ..no one is forcing me for anything .. this is my own decision"

"We can take it slow baccha.. there's no hurry for all this ..." Maa said

"I wanna meet Arjun"

"Arjun wanna meet you"

Baba and I spoke at the same time.

"Great ... that will be definitely a good start..you both meet each other .. talk to each other and understand each other ...then you take your decision"

"Is that OK bachche??"Baba asked

"Ha Baba"

"I'll inform him about the meeting then"

"Hmm"

"Don't get stressed about tomorrow's meeting....go get a good sleep"

I nodded and was about to leave but then Baba called me

"Sona"

I turned back "Ji Baba"

He just smiled at me. I smiled back and headed towards my room.

Directly I laid on the bed ready to sleep.

So tomorrow is our first meeting. Waiting for tomorrow with a new hope.

Next day:

I woke up with the bright sun rays falling on my face. Rubbing my sleepy eyes with one hand , I started searching my phone with the other to know the time. Finally I got my phone which was lying somewhere on my bed. When I checked my phone, immediately I sat straight on the bed with a jerk. It was a message from a unknown number.

Sharp 10 am at coffee shop.
Arjun

"What...10 am ...why so early..it's 8am now when will I get ready... what the hell is this" I said to myself looking at the phone.

Wait ..there's one more message . It was from Raghav.

He don't like latecomers.

The moment I read the message, I jumped out of the bed and literally ran to my wardrobe. I opened the wardrobe and started thinking about what should I wear. But without wasting much time I choosed a white Anarkali .. I took that dress and ran to washroom. Immediately I took a shower and came out.

Blow drying my hair I tried calling Kartik because I haven't spoken to him after our last meet but his phone is switched off. Getting irritated I threw the phone on the bed. I wore the silver oxide earnings and bangles which matches my dress perfectly and let my hair loose and applied kajal to make look complete.

Suddenly my phone started ringing . It was an unknown number. I answered the call.

"Hello who's this??"

"Madam I am Arjun Sir's driver...Sir ordered me to drop you at the coffee shop.. I am waiting for you at the gate"

"Thank-you Bhaiya but that's Ok...I have my driver.. he'll dro.."

He cut my sentence saying "madam this is Arjun Sir's order.. my duty is to follow his order and if I won't do that he'll be angry on me"

"Ok I'll come within 10min"

"Ok madam"

I came down to the living area where Maa Baba were having their tea.

"Someone is looking so beautiful today" Maa started teasing me.

"Stop it Maa"

"All the best Sona"

"For what Maa??"

"For your first meeting with Arjun "

"Maa you are too much..its not any exam ..it's just a casual meet"

"Sona you leave you might be getting late" Baba said

"Ji Baba"

"Ramesh Bhaiya (our driver) is waiting for you outside" Maa said

Before I could speak Baba only answered " there's no need .. Arjun has sent his driver ...Sona bachche you go"

I came at the gate and saw Arjun's driver a man of age 30-35.

"Namastey madam... I am Arjun Sir's driver"

"Namaste"

"Shall we leave madam"

"Ha"

We were on the way to coffee shop. I was biting my nails in nervousness.

"Madam aap koi tension mat lo... hamare Arjun Bhaiya heera hai" his driver said looking at me from the mirror.

I just gave a smile .

We reached the coffee shop. Thank God I am on time. Arjun was standing near the table . As I was walking each step towards him my heart was beating so fast .. standing two steps away from him

"Arjun"

He turned back. As expected he is wearing his favorite black shirt which is folded upto his elbows with black trousers. This is the first time I am watching him so close. God he looks damn hot in black and his light beard is just like cherry on the top for his hot look. As Raghav said he is a handsome hunk with a masculine gym body. His mesmerizing deep eyes have the hypnotizing power.

But suddenly my gaze fell on his right hand...it's having cuts and wounds on his fingers and his palm is bleeding. I immediately held his hand in mine and put a tissue paper on the wound to stop the flowing blood.

"How did you get hurt??"

"Its a common thing for me" he replied in his husky voice.

I looked at him . His eyes are conveying some unexpressed pain ...hidden emotions to me. We both kept on looking each other's eyes for a few seconds like that moment was freezed for us...his eyes are communicating something to me... seriously his eyes speak a lot than him.

"If you are done with your staring can we talk??"

I realized I am still standing very close to him holding his hand.. immediately I took a step back.

"Directly I'll come to the point... we'll get married only for one year"

What happens next??🤔🤔
