Vrishasen was slightly puzzled.. Was Sushen stressing out because of that? He placed his hand on his head and ruffled his hair..

Vrishasen-" And why don't you want to do so?"
Sushen-" I.. I feel if I get married right now I won't be able to focus on my archery skills.. I am fumbling a lot these days.. And I can't afford to continue that.."

Vrishasen-" I agree on that.. But who told you about the Vanga princess?"
Sushen-" I overheard it.. I still remember.. It was late night, and I was practicing in the arena.. After I was completely drenched in sweat, I decided to head back to my chamber.. As you know I have to pass mata and Pitashree's chamber to get to mine.. That's when I heard them..

Flashback..

Karna-" Vrushali what do you think?"
Vrushali-" Arya.. We already got Shatrunjay married to someone of our own choice.. Now Sushen? I.. I personally want my children to bring me daughter in laws who they love dearly.."

Karna-" I understand.. But this time, it's the other kingdom which has sent this proposal.. I don't understand.."
Vrushali-" Let's wait.. We don't know anything about Vanga kingdom.. They haven't even told us the name of their daughter in the proposal!"

Karna-" What if the princess is really a perfect fit for Sushen?"
Vrushali-" Than.. We may give it a thought! But this time get a good background check on them, and let's share this to Sushen-"
Karna-" If we give him a choice he will refuse.."

Karna and Vrushali had an argument.. Sushen's eyes saddened, and he walked away.. There was no talk about it for few weeks.. Before coming to the trip, Sushen heard Karna appreciate the Vanga king and his beautiful kingdom..

It made him restless and he couldn't sleep thinking that his parents will get him married.. He wanted to meet Pragti, hug her and talk to her.. But that wasn't happening any soon..

Flashback ends...

Vrishasen stared at Sushen..

Vrishasen-" Mata and Pitashree will always do good for us.. they won't have bad intentions.. But I could help you out in this matter!"
Sushen-" Really? How??"
Vrishasen-" I could talk to Pitashree and buy a year for you! I will handle it! But by next year I want you have lover and introduce her to our parents or else get ready to marry someone else!"

Sushen couldn't believe his ears.. He pinched himself to confirm that he wasn't dreaming.. Vrishasen laughed at his reactions and got an unexpected hug.. Sushen whispered" thank you so much!!"

After that he ran to join his younger brothers.. Vrishasen smiled.. His Sushen was back!

The next 3 days went smooth as butter.. The boys went for a boat ride, they had several wrestling challenges and Chitra shared some easy cooking recipes with the younger's.. Vrish was satisfied with the trip.. Everyone were fresh enough to get back to work.. What really Astonished everyone was Shatrunjay and Banasen's bond! Banasen would tell his childhood incidents and Shatrunjay would listen attentively..

He wouldn't even blink! Sushen understood that Shatrunjay was seeing him and Suthanu in his brother's narration.. Nevertheless, all of them were new versions of themselves and better brothers..

When they returned, everyone were really happy.. Especially Madhura and Snigdha.. The boys were tired from the journey, but they had to leave for Hastinapur the day after itself... The helpers gave them some water, while Madhura nervously stood behind Snigdha.. Aahuk was being impatient.. Vrishasen was almost done drinking water, and Aahuk immediately snatched it and kept it on the table..

Vrishasen-" Woah Aahuk! Slow down!"
Aahuk-" Ahh no Pitashree! Mata mata tell him na!"

Everyone were bemused.. Madhura had a slight blush.. Vrushali gestured Snigdha to reveal the "news".. Karna and Pradyumna sighed as the women kept gesturing each other to reveal it.. Raakhi had her eyes glued to Shatrunjay, when he looked at her, she immediately turned away..

Vrushali-" Fine! I will say it! Putra Vrishasen, you and Madhura are expecting your first child!"

Sushen chocked on water while the twins patted his back.. Chitra and Vrish were suprised.. Vrishasen immediately got up and hugged Madhura.. Aahuk immediately covered Pradyumna's eyes.. Karna couldn't help but chuckle.. That hug made a huge impact on Sushen who froze in a comically position.. Banasen acted as if he was checking his pulse.. Dvipat wasn't used to, too seeing his older brothers romancing,he immediately looked away..

Madhura" Arya... Everyone is looking.."
Vrishasen-" Ah yeah right.."

He felt slightly embarrassed while everyone laughed..

Chitrasen-" When did you find this good news?"
Vatsala-" Well it was during my monthly checkup.. Didi wasn't feeling very well, so Mata told the vaidya to check on her too.. She refused at first but gave in later.."
Vrishasen-" Oh Chitra! That means our kids will be 3 months apart!"

Twins-" Oh yeah!"
Aahuk-" Will they cry at the same time? Will I get to sleep?"
Vrushali-" Haha! Yes you will dear!"

Pradyumna smirked at Aahuk who narrowed his eyes.. Pradyu was happy that he wasn't the only to get a sibling.. Aahuk gestured him that he would punch him if he didn't shut up.. Out of everyone, Snigdha was most happy..

She had already planned out everything for Madhura! It was the first time Vrishasen truly felt happy by her actions.. While everyone were talking, he sneaked close to her and gave her a loving hug.. The day ahead was like a mini celebration.. Karna made sure that his three oldest sons rested well.. Yes three, he planned to take Shatrunjay along too.. They were supposed to leave after breakfast, so everyone went to sleep early..

But the boys couldn't wait to share everything with their wives.. Vrishasen called Aahuk and Snigdha in his and Madhura's chamber.. He shared them all his fun memories.. Chitrasen lied beside Vatsala.. She was tired and didn't realize when she fell alseep while listening to Chitrasen's talks.. Pradyu too was sleeping peacefully in his cradle.. Chitrasen stared at Vatsala's pretty face.. His eyes traveled to her baby bump, an automatic smile occurred on his face and he decided to sleep too..

Shatrunjay didn't tell much.. He only told Raakhi about Banasen and Charu.. Once she went to sleep, he got up and continued to write his letter for Suthanu.. The next day was a mess.. The boys overslept.. Yes they did.. Snigdha and Madhura had hard time waking up their husband and son.. Aahuk was the last to sleep he attentively listened even after both his mothers went to sleep..

Madhura chuckled.. Aahuk and Vrishasen's side profiles looked exactly the same! Karna stepped in.. He cleared his throat and said-" VRISHASEN!" The boy immediately got up and and without looking here and there and went to bath.. Aahuk was slightly up, and was rubbing his eyes.. The breakfast was also a chaos...

Shatrunjay's appetite wasn't satisfied.. He wanted to eat something which was cooked by Chitrasen! The women were suprised by his secret ability and they teased Vatsala about being lucky and having such a perfect husband.. She blushed and looked down.. Chitrasen ruffled his hair, and had a smirk on his face.. He poked Vatsala and gestured her to see his side profile... It made her blush even more..

Just than a senapati came and gave her a letter.. The handwriting was familiar to Vatsala.. It was Draupadi's! But why would she write her so suddenly? Chitra tried to squeeze himself near Vatsala to see what was written.. Her eyes widened.. She kept the letter..

Karna-" Putri.. Is something wrong?"
Vatsala-" Yes Pitashree.."
Karna-" What is it?"
Vatsala-" Arya Prativindhya is badly injured.. Mata Draupadi wrote this letter just to inform me.. She told me not to worry and visit them.. But.. I want to go... His condition is very weak.."

She looked down.. Vrushali understood her pain, but she didn't want her to exhaust herself..

Vatsala-" Mata please May I-"
Vrushali-" No Vatsala I cannot allow you to travel!"
Vatsala-" But mata please! Mata Draupadi wouldn't write to me if it wasn't serious! Please let me go!"
Vrushali-" But Vatsala! Arya, Vrish, Chitra and Shatrunjay are leaving today, I cannot just leave you! It's not like I don't trust our soldiers but!"

Vatsala understood and she went all quiet.. Chitrasen didn't like to see her sad face..

Chitrasen-" Mata will you allow her to go if one of us accompanies her?"
Vrushali-" Definitely!"
Chitrasen-" Okay than, I will go with Vatsu! Pitashree, jhest and anuj can continue without me.."
Vatsala-" No Arya! I don't want you to stay back because of me it's fine!"

Sushen-" May I accompany her?"

Everyone looked at him.. Vatsala knew that Sushen wanted to visit Pragti for a longtime.. This was a perfect chance!

Vatsala-" Yes Arya! Please let bhrata Sushen come with me! Please!"
Chitrasen-" Alright, alright! Ah Vatsu not those puppy eyes again!"

Everyone chuckled.. Chitra looked at his mata who gave him an approving nod.. It was decided that they would start their journey with them... If they left now they could reach Indraprastha by nighttime... After breakfast, everyone got ready for their respective journey.. Sushen thanked Vatsala to let him join her.. She was happy and worried at the same time..

With Chitrasen and Vatsala..

Chitrasen stared at Vatsala.. She quickly combed her hair and changed her ear rings.. She caught him staring at her through the mirror.. Pradyumna was already dressed..

Vatsala-" Arya what's the matter?"
Chitrasen-" Vatsala, will you be alright while traveling? I mean Mata told me that sometimes you feel dizzy and nauseous? Wouldn't the travelling make you sick?"

Vatsala-" Oh arya! Don't worry! I will be alright and after all bhrata Sushen is also there! I promise we will take breaks during travelling!"
Chitrasen-" Alright than! Take good care of yourself and our baby!"

Vatsala nodded and gave him a hug.. Pradyumna shaked his legs to get his father's attention.. Chitra chuckled and gave a kiss.. The three of them joined others.. Raakhi told her that she will miss her alot! Since both the girls were almost the same age, they got well together.. Without Vatsala, she would usually feel sad.. She noticed that Shatrunjay was staring at her..

Vrushali gave Vatsala some medicines incase she didn't feel well later.. They started their journey simultaneously and parted their ways soon.. Sushen was already day dreaming about the things he would be doing with Pragti!

They could sneak out in nighttime or maybe she could show him Indraprastha? He wanted to do everything which allowed them to spend time together... Vatsala was lost in her own thoughts.. How did Prathi get injured so badly? What would be the reason? He didn't even write her a letter in the past few days..

Her head was heavy and she felt like throwing up.. She somehow controlled herself and decided to sleep for a while.. Pradyu would usually sleep during travelling and it was a big relief to Vatsala.. It was almost evening.. Her urge to throw up increased and she decided to stop for a while..

Vatsala-" bhrata, Can we take a break?"
Sushen-" Why so?"
Vatsala-" I-I don't feel very well.."

Sushen got the call, he immediately stopped his horse and helped her get down.. He ordered the senapatis to get some rest.. She gestured him and told that she wanted to throw up.. They didn't bring any maid with them and she wouldn't be comfortable with the soldiers.. Sushen helped her out..

After a while of struggle, her breathing was heavy.. Sushen quickly got her some water.. she seemed to have relaxed.. They decided to stand in cool air for sometime...

Sushen-" Vatsala, what do you think the child will be?"
Vatsala-" I am not so sure.. Arya says he wants no feels it's a baby girl.. I cannot make it out so soon.. Maybe in the upcoming months!"
Sushen-" I see! Honestly I Cannot wait to meet her!"
Vatsala-" Oh so you think it's a girl too?"

Sushen nodded.. He stared at far away villages just than he realized something..

Sushen-" Oh didn't you say your brother is also expecting?"
Vatsala-" Yes he is.."
Sushen-" Now that you think about it, won't their be 3 babies,barely few months apart?!"
Vatsala-" Oh yeah!"
Sushen-" Haha I heard Bhrata Shatrunjay saying that it's probably a baby year!"

Both of them started laughing, Sushen continued to tease her by saying that maybe Vrishasen and Chitrasen had planned ( though it wasn't) on having kids which fell in the same age group.. As a counterback, Vatsala teased him by saying that he and Shatrunjay might as well be in the same situation.. After loads of laughter, they decided to resume..

In Indraprastha...

It was past dinner time.. Prativindhya, Sutsom and Shrutkrit complained about having to be in bed almost the whole day... Swara was there to entertain Sutsom while Pragti talked to Shrutkrit.. Prathi was feeling lonely without his dear wife.. He wondered how she was.. And how better it would be if she miraculously appeared! He rested his head on the pillow..

Suthanu-" JHEST! JHEST! JHEST!"

Prativindhya got up with a jerk.. He felt some pain in his chest.. Nitya immediately went too him..

Prativindhya-" What happened Suthanu? Why are you screaming? Did you see some lizard?"
Suthanu-" NO NO! VATSALA IS HERE!"
Prativindhya-" Suthanu, don't joke.."
Suthanu-" NO! SHE REALLY IS HERE! SHE JUST NOW CAME WITH KUMAR SUSHEN!"

Pragti immediately got up and ran downstairs.. Prativindhya couldn't believe it.. He wasn't allowed to walk since he had to give his right leg rest.. Swara whispered that she would be back.. She tagged with Nitya and went down..

Pradyumna was all fresh, after having a really good sleep.. Draupadi immediately hugged Vatsala..

Vatsala-" Mata.. It's good to see you after such a long time.."
Draupadi-" Yes dear.. Firstly, congratulations to you and Chitra.. We are really happy for you! Why did you take the efforts to come here! The journey must've been rough!"
Vatsala-" No it wasn't! Bhrata Sushen took good care of me!"

She saw him talking to Pragti.. It seemed as if they both didn't meet in ages and had loads of topics to speak about.. He was also greeted by Shrutkarm and Satanik.. The Pandavas completely ignored him.. They didn't like the presence of a suta... Swara and Ciara had missed her alot.. Madhur was extremely happy for his sister.. He had bonded very well with Ciara, her looks, way of dressing was so different..

In case he gave birth to a girl, Ciara had already decided that she would be in charge of her wardrobe.. Vatsala talked with everyone for a while.. She noticed that Suthanu was staring at Sushen and Pragti.. She was about to leave, just than Vatsala slipped her letter in her hand and gestured her to go in and read..

Nitya-" Ah bhabhi! Jhest requests you to visit him upstairs! He is being dramatic!"
Vatsala-" Ah geez! Alright!"
Madhur-" Before going upstairs would you like to eat something?"
Vatsala-" Yes but not too much!"

She followed Nitya,Prativindhya shifted back in his own chamber.. The injured boys were sharing the same room since it would get lonely.. He was dying to meet Vatsala who was chatting with others... Nitya opened the door and let Vatsala step in.. She closed it to give the couple privacy..

Vatsala-" Arya.. How are you?"
Prativindhya-" Yea you remembered me soo early.. If I hadn't called you I bet you would be chatting down for more than 2 hours!"
Vatsala-" Haha! Okay ok sorry!"

She couldn't control her chuckle and held her ears while apologising, Prathi immediately pulled her close to him and told her that she didn't have to apologize.. Vatsala noticed, his chest was bandaged, his leg was injured and his forehead was also wrapped..

Vatsala-" Arya.. how did all this happen?"
Prativindhya-" Oh dear! There was war for a very stupid reason.. Let's not talk about it! The good thing is that you are here!"

Vatsala didn't like that he diverted it.. She decided to ask about it to Draupadi.. They both talked for hours.. Even in midnight, Draupadi could hear the two giggling and sharing whatever had happened.. She decided to bang the door and give them a final warning to sleep..

Everything was going alright! But than for Vatsala happiness doesn't last long..

Somewhere...

Senapati-" Kumar Sauraj!"
Sauraj-" Is there some news about Indraprastha?"
Senapati-" Yes Kumar, Rajkumar Prativindhya's wife Vatsala has arrived to visit him.."
Sauraj-" I see.. Oh well this is a perfect opportunity to talk about it again!"
Senapati-" But Kumar, Rajkumar Prativindhya has refused several times.. I feel they won't like to see our faces!"

Sauraj-" Who said we will talk to him! We will talk to kumari Vatsala!"

The senapati didn't understand his master's plan...
