In Banasen's room...

Sambh was trying his best to gently apply ointment on Banasen's back... But everytime he touched the boy would shout... Charu tried to be serious but her lover screamed comically....

Sambh-" I give up...This boy doesn't trust me..."
Charu-" Jhest really can't you do this!"
Sambh-" No Charu!"

Banasen slightly whimpered and looked down... Everyone were laughing... Nitya saw Dvipat... He slowly entered the room...

His head was hung down.. Sambh could tell that the boy got no sleep and was awake the whole time.. he kept the ointment on the bed and gestured his siblings to leave...

Nitya was slightly hesitant Charu clasped her hand and whispered that they would be fine..

Everyone left and it was only the twins now... Dvipat walked close to Banasen and sat on the bed...

He took some cream in his hands... And started applying it on his back.. Dvipat's hand was always gentle for his brother... He slightly whimpered at a point..

Dvipat-" D-does it hurt? Should I go slow?"
Banasen-" No.. it's alright.. your hand is perfect.."

He continued the massage...
Dvipat-" I am sorry..."

Banasen kept mum, he felt bad last night and couldn't forgive him so easily...

Dvipat-" I-I was wrong. Rather than being grateful I got angry It was my fault I don't blame you for not forgiving me it's alright..."
Banasen-" It's fine don't apologise..."

Dvipat-" You forgave me?"
Banasen -" Yes I can't be angry at you for longtime.. You know that..."

Dvipat was happy he immediately hugged his brother from behind, Banasen couldn't help but laugh... Just than Krishna came in he had a two plates of breakfast...

Dvipat and Banasen-" Pranipat Guruji!"
Krishna-" Pranipat my students. It's time for breakfast.. Eat it and Banasen once you are done eat your medicine and take some rest as for you Dvipat.. No practice.. Have some fun."

Dvipat took the plates and kept them on a side peice.. He supported his brother to get up and helped him on the bed.. Before leaving Krishna peeked in their room and smiled...

Dvipat lovingly fed his brother.. Banasen was lost in his childhood memories he remembered when they were kids he was the one who usually fell sick and Dvipat would always stay by his side...

Dvipat-" Banasen?"

Banasen looked at his brother's hand which had a mole of rice... He felt lost.

Dvipat-" What happened? Are you alright? Should I call some elder?'
Banasen (smiles)-" I don't need anyone else when you are with me! Haha! Remember that one time when I was very sick and you stayed by my side?"

Dvipat(scoffs)-" You laugh over it? I was so worried! I recovered in such less time but you were in love with the bed! You refused to get out of it! It was rainy season and getting a vaidya was impossible!"

Banana laughed.. his brother cared alot... Back than when they were 6 and were sick.. He couldn't recover fast.. Balram and Krishna went out on a heavy rainy night to get a vaidya... The weather was dreadful and the floor was cold.. Banasen was shivering with fever,but Dvipat he selflessly sat beside him.. his feet touched the cold ground but he refused to move... He sat there whole night holding his twin's hand...

Dvipat snapped him out his deep thoughts that forced the food down his neck.. Banasen wanted to sleep.. Dvipat immediately closed the curtains and pulled the blanket and placed a kiss on his forehead...

Banasen caught hold of Dvipat pinky finger and urged him to sleep beside him.. Dvipat didn't realise when he fell asleep...

Sambh and Surabha tip toed in... They called a artisan with them and gestured him to paint the scene... Surabha was trying to control his laughter... Sambh pinched him he wanted to capture the moment in the form of a painting...

Few hours later...

Dvipat turned his back to Krishna... He was trying to wake his student since the past 20 minutes... Rukmini giggled...

Krishna-" Priye show some mercy on me and help me wake him up!"

Rukmini finally broke her laugh and went near Dvipat,she massaged his head and ruffled his hair..A smile came on his face.. He looked at Rukmini and woke up..

Krishna-" Waah,my student! When your guru was waking you up you didn't! How fair is this!"
Dvipat-" Forgive me gurudev but a mother's touch can wake her son!"

Rukmini's heart melted.. Dvipat looked around and asked for Banasen.

He found his brother talking with Charu and Nitya.. He joined in.. but he noticed Charumati was quite. For the first time... Whenever Banasen was around she would never run out of topics but today was different....

Rukmini called the twins in... Just like Dvipat had told her she prepared some warm water and kept in their room... Banasen got rid of his upper garment.. Dvipat got a clean cloth, he used the end and started wiping Banasen... 

At first he refused... But Dvipat was stubborn he knew his brother was the master of hiding pain.. After the shock Banasen's moment was slightly strained... Hence Dvipat was giving him a bath...

He quickly wiped him up and was extra careful with the wound... He applied the ointment and massaged him.. Banasen fell asleep during the process.. The massage was helping his strained muscles.. Dvipat's hands were magical..

After the bath was over, Banasen got ready Dvipat handed him a towel to wipe his wet hair... He went outside, and saw Charu hesitantly looking at him...

Charu-" Jhest I..need a talk with you.."
Dvipat-"Charu you are not behaving yourself.. If it's something related to your relationship than I think you both should talk this out.. I am his twin we are close but you have to spend the rest of your life with him.. Just go in there!"

Dvipat gave her a thumbs up and went to join Nitya in their Bharatnatyam practice.. Charu looked at the doorway.. She took a deep breath and went in...

Banasen was almost done wiping his hair.. He heard her anklets from a distance and smiled at her.. His face was radiating with different joy showing his sharp teeth.. 

Charu looked down, Banasen gestured her to sit beside him.. After she refused he pulled her... gently.. and made her sit beside him..

He held her left hand and asked...

Banasen-" Is something the matter?"
Charu-" I-I"
Banasen-" Just say it out Charumati!"

Charu-" I feel guilty! It's because of me that you got this big gash on your chest! I -"

She couldn't complete her sentence and broke down.. Banasen narrowed his eyes he tried to lighten the situation...

Banasen-" Oh Charu! This warrior's chest is meant to take big blows! This is nothing,do not blame yourself over such a small wound!"

Charu-" STOP IT! HOW EAST IT IS SO EASY FOR YOU ALL TO SAY THAT ALL OF YOU WANT A HEROIC DEATH! BUT HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT HOW WE FEEL WHEN YOU SAY THESE THINGS?! It hurts us! So just stop it!"

Charu cried out, Banasen simply looked at her... What was he thinking? He tired convincing her in a humorous way but Charu was all serious...

He pulled her into a hug...

Banasen-" I am sorry... I- I tried to convince you in a funny way but you pagal got all serious.. All I want to say is don't feel guilty .. It wasn't your fault,  you just took the chance to find Nitya and partially it was our fault too... We thought we won..And left our prey.. It's not your fault dear.."

Charu-" But this wound is because of me.."

Banasen-" Haha this is nothing.. And..(he lifted her chin) I love you.. And after all think about this! We could tell our kids how I saved you!"

He comically got up took out his wooden dagger and randomly moved it is air.. With pride filled in his voice he said..

Banasen- " And my children that's how I saved your mother!"

He looked back and winked, Charu started laughing.. Banasen joined in.. He got the most pleasure from her laugh...he went close to her, Charu stared in his eyes,  he saw few strands of her hair which came out from her braid.. He slowly shifted them back..

Just than they heard someone clear his throat...

Dvipat-" Oh...Well uhm. I think I came at wrong time come well I came to inform that kumari Nitya and I were wondering if you both would like to join us in a little chat tonight...We could eat dinner sitting outside and oh yeah even fire in middle!"

Charumati-" Ofcourse jhest! Is it only the four of us?(Dvipat nodded) Well than it's perfect!"

Banasen agreed Dvipat took his leave and before going he smirked at his brother... Banasen's cheeks were red, he ran to find him and clear it out that he was only shifting her hair strands..
