It was the second day of Diwali when the Pandavas reached Indraprastha. They people welcomed them. Despite all that happened yesterday they all started decorating the Mahal, though Shrutakarm didn't talk with Arjun. Nitya was the only one who didn't what had happened. She tried making everyone cheerful and that was working slowly. Suthanu and pragti joined her in making rangoli.

In the Darbar

Yudhishthir and Draupadi were making new laws while Prativindhya and the Upapandavas were the ones listening to the people problems and giving them solutions. Yudhishthir did that once every week so that the Upapandavas would be ready to take over the empire after them.

Senapati 5-" Maharaj! There is an invitation from Vatsal's kingdom."
Yudhishthir nods his head and the senapati gives Yudhishthir the invitation.
Yudhishthir ( delighted)-" Indraj's daughter Vatsala has recently turned 18 and they have arranged her swayamwar, Putra Prativindhya has been invited!"
Prativindhya-" What me?"
Pragti-" Do we have any other Prativindhya here?"
Sutsom-" Finally Jhest will get married!"
Satanik-" It only happens if she chooses him, is there any competition?"
Yudhishthir-" Haan. The one who can throw the spear farther wins her hand in marriage."
Suthanu-" Aww no choice? Anyways bhaiya if you win then I will have a sister-in-law!!"
Pragti-" Come to think of it! She is younger then me!"
Shrutakarm-" So you want your swayamwar as well?"
Pragti (thought -" No need! I have already choosen my Arya.")
Draupadi-" Stop teasing your sister Shrutakarm, before her Suthanu will be married."
Suthanu ( all red)-" Me?(I won't even need a swayamwar after all I know who I want to marry.. It's just I hope Shatrunjay is okay.")
Draupadi-" Jokes apart , putra are you going to her swayamwar?"
Prativindhya-"hmm. Since I am invited I can't deny it, it will be rude. So I am going."

The Pandavas didn't show it on their face but they were really happy.

Satanik-" Can I go with jhest?
Shrutakrit-" No I will go!"
Nitya-" Can I ."
Prativindhya-" No one will some with me."
Nakul-" Why putra?"
Prativindhya-" Pitashree I don't want someone with me, I am old enough to go on my own. Besides I am going that is the big deal."
Yudhishthir-" That's true putra."
Draupadi-" The swayamwar is on the 4th day of Diwali it means you only have 2 1/2 days, if you start your journey now maybe you can take some rest over there."
Prativindhya-" So I shall leave now!"
Draupadi (gets up)-" Wait! First see the rajkumari's picture."

Once he saw the picture prati couldn't think of anything it seemed to be muffled.

(Prativindhya thought -" Even the painter couldn't hide the beautiful smile. If she looks so beautiful in a painting how beautiful she must be in real life?)

Draupadi( snaps finger)-" Lost already?"
Prativindhya-" What? No mata! I must leave now. We should never keep anyone waiting."
Draupadi-" Hahaha! Ofcourse putra."

The Pandavas bless him while the Upapandavas still try to convince him to let someone come with him. By the time of dusk he leaves.

In Vatsal

The senapati was telling the list of princes who were coming for the swayamwar.

Senapati 6-" Patalputra Shenharaj, Anga Kumar Chitrasen, Kumar Gr-"
Dhruv grabs the senapati's neck.
Dhruv-" How dare you invite a Anga Kumar! Huh? Who invited him?"
Rudra-" Bhratashree I did, he is my Mitra afterall. I had to invite him. "
Dhruv-" Even after knowing what had happened between me and Vrishasen you still?"
Indraj ( laughing)-" Putra both of you are so innocent.( Puts his hand on Dhruv's should) Putra think about it if Chitrasen marries Vatsala then you can visit Anga as a excuse to meet her and meet Snigdha."
Dhruv-" Now that you mention that Pitashree! That is a good idea."
Rudra-" So am I safe from jhest's wrath?"
Indraj-" Ofcourse putra"

On the gates of Vatsal

Prativindhya was mesmerized by the beauty of the kingdom. He saw many prince in pairs, they were either with their friends or family members. Now he started feeling as if the kingdom was really forgien to him and wished if he would have bought someone with him. He was brought back to reality when the Vatsal Raj came to greet him personally, despite getting a personal greeting from the king his eyes were searching for the beautiful Kumari .
His eyes caught sight of Chitrasen, delighted he ran(literally) towards him .
Chitrasen who was surprised himself was glad that he bumped into someone he knew. The Vatsal Raj was definitely angry on being cut out by Prativindhya but seemingly controlled.
Prathi and Chitra were having a small conversation when ....

Dhruv : Everyone thank you for making time coming here now we would be starting the swayamwar of the only rajkumari of Vatsal !

At the announcement Vatsala slowly came out , her smile almost killed Prathi he couldn't take his eyes of her pretty lips , on the other hand Chitrasen didn't see the princess his attention was at his ankle which was starting to pain again .

Indraj smirk (the kumar is already lost in her ) -" Let's start the swayamwar!!"
