Next Day

Afternoon

The Mehras and Dida were invited for lunch in SS Villa by RamTa. It was a kind of small get together to celebrate the reunion of Swara and Sanskar.

"Mmmm.. Swara beta this malai kofta is so delicious." Ishwari praised while ravishing the lunch.

"Shoru knew nothing about kitchen. Thanks to Sujata this useless girl learnt cooking." Dida said making everyone chuckle. Swara glared at her and took away the roshogulla that was placed for her. Dida frowned and snatched it back and started eating it ignoring her royally.

" It was her will Kakisa to learn cooking as she got such a foodie husband." Sujata chuckled making Swara shy. Sanskar admired her.

"Yes aunty totally made for each other. Just stay like this forever you both." Sonakshi said. Both nodded. All were chatting and having fun. Swara stared at each one of them. This is her family. Sonakshi was actually right. The bunch of people present here right now are the ones that actually want her happiness.

This reminded her of Sharmishtha and Ragini. They didn't even called to ask about her well being let alone come.

Lunch got finished and the ladies were cleaning the table and kitchen while the men sat in the living room watching news and discussing business.

Just then the door bell rang.

" I'll go and see. "Sanskar said.

He opened the door and saw Shekher, Sharmishtha and Ragini standing there.

" Namaste Maa Baba "Sanskar greeted Shomi & Shekher and ignored Ragini.

" Where is Swara? " Sharmishtha asked sternly without acknowledging his greeting.

Sanskar moved away and left space for them to enter.

" Shona.. Where are you Shona? "Sharmishtha entered shouting.

" Offo.. Itna noise pollution. " (Oh God so much of Noise pollution) Dida said making faces.

" What happened Maa? "Swara asked casually coming out of the kitchen. She stood besides Sanskar holding his hand tightly in hers.

" Swara tum yahan kyu reh rahi ho. Chalo hum tumko wapas Baadi le jaane aae hain? " (Swara why are you here? Come we have come to take you to Baadi.) Ragini said.

Sanskar's grip loosened a bit on her hands thinking that maybe she will go with her sister. He got scared of losing her. But Swara tightened her grip further understanding his turmoil.

" Why will I go to baadi? That too with you?" Swara asked.

"Because that is where you live. That is your house." Sharmishtha said.

"No my house is this. Didn't you read the name plate outside?" Swara said coldly.

"Swara is he forcing you to live with him? Tell me. I will not let him do this." Shekher said angrily looking at Sanskar.

"Don't forget my Lakshji went missing because of him." Ragini said. The limit of her.

"You will get your idiot Lakshji soon. Sanskar is searching him and if you can go back to MM then I can come to my house as well with all my will. Where my husband is. " Swara said looking at Sanskar.

"Huh... Shona have you forgotten what you had promised? You will not go to him till Laksh returns." Sharmishtha said.

"What is this mangalsutra and sindoor also Swara. You forgot everything? I am in pain here and you are enjoying your marital life?" Ragini said angrily.

Swara moved towards her and gave a tight slap across her face.

"Pain? The pain you are bearing is because of your idiot, irresponsible husband. But do you have any idea what pain we both suffered yesterday?" Swara shouted.

"You both do know about it. Sonakshi had called you both and informed about same. We both lost our first child. Your husband will return but what about my child? Will you bring him back? Sanskar was there for me yesterday when I needed him the most. Not only yesterday but always it was him who stood besides me for my support when you people make us suffer. All the people standing here except you two were there to grieve with me over my loss but what about you two? Lost in your own world. Not even bothered to give a call and shamelessly came here to take me. "Swara yelled.

" I was busy. "Sharmishtha said.

" Ofcourse you were busy with your husband and daughter, planning how to ruin my life. You only want that your spineless husband should be happy with you and that will only happen when his daughter will be happy and this daughter will be happy when I will be sad. "Swara said.

" How can you say like this about Ragu? "Shomi said.

" Ragu, Ragu, Ragu! She only matters to you maa. It was you only who forced me to break his swear and try to unite the family. That family which has negative elements like you all. " Swara shouted.

" I am not blaming you for whatever happened with me. The one to be blamed has to be me. "Swara said turning towards Sanskar, a lone tear escaped from her eyes.

" Swara.. "Sanskar tried to stop her.

" No Sanskar. Let me say today or else this guilt will kill me. "Swara said. Her heart was paining and she wanted those emotions to release and lighten the burden from her chest. It was high time to show these people their limits.

" From childhood I was bullied for being an illegitimate child. My biological father didn't accepted me. In name of family I had only Dida and Maa. What was I supposed to do? Is it my fault that my father turned out to be a coward who cannot accept his responsibilities? I used to think that if a person has a proper family, all problems will be solved but here my so called family turned out to be the reason of my sufferings. I got so blinded to remove the tag of illegitimate from my name that I lost the sense of differentiating between right and wrong. I ended up hurting the most precious person in my life. I am sorry Sanskar but believe me whatever I said, I didn't meant a word from it. That's why I never removed my Marital signs. Our relation is not a joke for me. I love you the most. You are my everything. Just for one last time I was waiting for you to find Laksh and take me away from them. I wanted to prove that you are innocent but our baby came and made me realise that these people are actually not worth it. If today we will solve one problem, they will bring other one tomorrow. So now I don't care what they think and what they feel because I now know the true meaning of family. I am sorry Sanskar. I am soo sorry. Please give me one chance. " Swara said sobbing and sat near his feet joining her hands.
Sanskar immediately sat on his knees and held her hands nodding no. He was in tears too and hugged her tightly. No matter how much he wanted in past to make Swara suffer but watching her today apologising to him like this broke his heart. He never wants her to bend infront of him. They were partners. They were equal. Mistakes happen but they both will put it behind and try to move on.

" He was actually going to punish you Shona after Laksh's return so there was no point of having his baby." Shomi said with venom in her voice. But next second five fingers were imprinted on her cheek with a loud sound.

Shomi put a hand on her cheek feeling stinging pain.

" Get out from my house. "Sujata shouted.

" But... "

" No Mrs. Sharmishtha. Enough. Get out from my house and from my children's life. Don't you dare come back here. "Sujata warned them.

All stood shocked watching Sujata like this. But she had enough of these toxic people in her house. They looked at Swara for support.

" Didn't you listen what my mom said. GET LOST. " Swara yelled.

They flinched at her tone and moved out from there. They thought if they will do some drama, Swara will come running after them leaving Sanskar but they were unaware about the fact that this storm has made them strong as ever and this time they cannot be separated by any means.

At Night

SwaSan Room

"Swara, princess stop crying." Sanskar said hugging her.

"Sanskar I am really sorry." Swara said.

"It's Okay Swara. I am happy that you are back to me. That's all matters. I don't want your apologies." Sanskar said cupping her face.

"Why are you so nice Sanskar?" Swara said looking at him.

"I was not Swara. You made me nice. Even after I spoilt your life and reputation, you stood by me. I cannot forget that time. As you said we were angry, we said things we didn't meant. Let's keep this all behind and start afresh." Sanskar said holding her hands. She nodded.

They had an eyelock for a while and then  taking the first step, Swara leaned in and placed her lips on his kissing him deeply. Sanskar got startled by her sudden move but then closed his eyes and got lost in passion. The kiss held no lust but love, grief, apologies and passion. It held a promise that from now on no matter what, they will forever stay together.

Sanskar's phone beeped making them break the kiss. If looks can kill, the phone would have been bursted into pieces by now by Sanskar angry eyes.

Swara giggled and went to change while he checked his inbox. His expressions changed reading the text he received.
