Raelynn's POV

       I had went to Scar's house last night after my talk with River.  It was hard to to tell her.  I thought that I could protect her.

Flashback of last night... 

       Scar I have to tell you something and please don't get mad at me.  I never wanted this to happen.

       Rae what is it?  You know you can tell me anything.

       Stella found out about Dustin.  That's why I got in the fight yesterday.  She had threatened me at the pool party if I didn't stay away from Asher she would spill your secret to the whole school.  I thought we had made a deal but then the next day I saw her with her friends and overheard what they were talking about.  And you know what happens after.  I'm so sorry Scarlette.

       Rae it's okay someone was bound to find out.  I'm just glad you told me. I'll be okay as long I have you and the girls by my side.

       We wouldn't want to be next to anyone else.  I love you Scar.  I say as I hug her.  

       You should get going Raelynn.  I will see you tomorrow.  I love you.

       I love you too.  Take care of yourself and that beautiful baby boy in there for now.  Don't worry about Stella or anything else for that matter.  Tomorrow we will deal with it together.  See you at school.  

       But we got suspended.

       I know but do we ever follow the rules.

       Yeah I guess your right.

End of flashback 

       I had texted all the girls to wait in the parking lot together.  They were all confused at first because of our suspension but then when Scar told them what had happened they were all up for it.  I saw all the girls leaning against Brook's car.  As I walked to them I saw the guys entering the school.  I wrapped my arm around Scar's shoulder and began walking into the school with Amara on my right and Brook on Scar's left.  We walked in and all eyes were on us the guys were leaning against a set of lockers watching us with lingering eyes.  I saw smiles form on all the girls faces when they had seen the guys.  Today if people weren't already scared of us they sure as hell would be afterwards.  We were already suspended so there wasn't much more that could happen to us.  What would make it even more bad ass if someone was blaring "We don't give a fuck about no bitch."  And as if Colt could read my mind I hear it blasting through his speakers.  We all laugh and walk over to them.

       I thought you girls got suspended.  Asher said.

       Yeah and your point.  I say.

       Doesn't getting suspended mean you aren't supposed to be at school?  Colt asks.

       Yeah but we don't follow rules very well.

       I can see that.  Greyson states.

       Well boys we got to go we have some business to take care of.  You can stand there all day looking pretty or come watch the show.  I don't care either way.  Amara says and we all strut away.

       They watched us walk away and looked at each other in shock.  We then heard the pounding of their feet against the hall floor.   They had all finally caught up to us.

       I see you guys made the right choice.  Brook says.

       We had finally found Stella's little posse.  The only problem was Stella wasn't with them.

       I walked up to one of them turned her to face me.  Where is Stella?

       I don't know and I wouldn't tell you even if I knew.  And didn't you get suspended?

       Yes and you better tell me where Stella is or I'll will rip those fake eyelashes off your face.

       I honestly don't know where she is.

       That was it I couldn't take it.  You lying little skank.  I said as I threw a punch at her perfectly caked face.

       A crowd of people were now circling us and soon the principle would be on his way.  I didn't care, I was going to figure out where Stella was even if it meant getting expelled.  No one tries to ruin my best friends life. 

       Rae maybe she is telling the truth.  I don't think anyone has seen her this morning.  Scar stated.  

       Maybe she flaked cause she didn't want to ruin her rep with the face arrangement you gave her.  Huh Rae?  Amara chuckles. 

       Well we better go before Principle Russ gets here.  None of us need another week of being suspended.  Brooks says.

      Fine lets go.  We will see you guys tonight down at the track, right?  I ask.

      Yeah we will be there.  Asher answers.

      The girls and I walked out of the school.  There was a race tonight between Amara and some guy named Ray.  She hasn't had a race for awhile and was really excited when she go the text from Connor.  We all had figured that we could go get our pups and head to the beach.  Also we had finally picked out names for our fur balls.  Scarlette had names hers Maisy,  Brooks named hers Lyric,  Amara picked out the name Raven cause she thought it sounded bad ass, and I had named mine Sage.  Dustin and Maisy have getting along real well.  Scarlette was hesitant at first but soon saw how great of friends they had become.  

       We were all sitting out on the beach watching the pups play and Scar had even brought Dustin.  She told us that she needed to start bringing him out more.  Tonight River was going to host another movie night so Scar decided she was gonna bring him to meet the guys.  

       So where do you guys think Stella ran off too?  Amara asked.

       Probably laying out on a beach in the Bahamas.  She probably told her parents that she needed a relaxing vacation before finals.  I stated.

       I wish I could get what I want with just a mommy, daddy please.  Brook says.

       Yeah don't we all.  Scar utters as she hold a sleeping Dustin.

       It was almost time for the race to start so we decided to take Dustin back home and the pups.  When we got to the track we saw the guys already there.  Asher and Greyson were checking the car over making sure it was ready for Amara.

       Everything looking good?  I ask looking under the hood.

       Yeah just had to change the oil but other then that it looks ready to roll.  Asher answered.

       I better go get Amara so we can get it lined up at the starting line.

       We all watched as Amara stepped into the black 1976 Ford Pinto Runabout.  It was one of Greyson's cars he had let her barrow for the race.  The Ray guy was right next to her.  He had greased back black hair and tattoos were running up both his arms.  He only looked to be in his early twenties.  We heard the announcer over the intercom telling the racers to start their engines.  The air smelled of fumes as they revved their engines.  I looked at Amara and saw her looking dead in front of her ignoring whatever the Ray guy was trying to tell her.  Then we saw the green flag fly down and they were off.  Ray was ahead by just a little but Amara wasn't gonna let that happen for long.  They were nearing the end when Amara cut him off and sped through the finish line.  We ran to her and congratulated her.  The Ray guy wasn't to happy and he stormed off.

       Amara you did amazing.  One of your best races yet.  I stated.

       Yeah that's what I was thinking.  Amara said.

       Did you see the way that guy stormed off.  He looked pretty pissed.  Brook asked.

       Yeah he's just mad cause a girl beat him.  Amara exclaimed.

      Let's get out of here.  I'm ready to sit back and watch a movie with my friends.  Colt declared.

       Me and Scar have to go get something real fast but we will meet you guys at River's.  I state.

       Okay see you guys in a little bit then.  Asher says.

       We had made it to Scar's house and were now getting Dustin all bundled up in a fuzzy bear sleeper.  I had packed his diaper bag with the essentials also adding toys and I grabbed an extra blanket.  I walked over and watched her put him in his car seat.  

       Are you ready?  I asked.

       Yeah I think so.  You got the diaper bag right?

       Yep.  Let's go the boys probably think we got lost or something.  And Scar it's okay don't be nervous i'm sure they won't judge you.  River didn't when he found out.    

       Yeah I guess so.

       I'm sure they will love him like the rest of us do.

       We got to River's house and I reassured Scarlette that everything would be okay.  I grabbed the diaper bag, she grabbed Dustin and we headed inside.  I grasped the door and walked in first.  The guys looked towards us.

       Finally there you guys are I was beginning to wonder if you bail.... Colt began.

       That's when they all noticed the baby in Scar's arms.

       Who's uh baby is that?  Greyson asked.

       Guys this is Dustin.  He's um Scarlette's son.  I answered.

       Scar is it really yours?  Colt questioned.

       Yes he really is mine.  I know you are probably wondering how and by whom.  I'll tell you later but for now would you guys like to meet him?

       Oh course I love babies bring him to Uncle Colt.

       We all laughed.

        A little while later after playing with Dustin and seeing who could make him laugh he was finally asleep.  Scar was also ready to tell everyone what happened.

       Scar's Story...............

       Well I'm glad you told us Scar.  And we would never tell anyone.  It wouldn't be our secret to tell.  Asher states.

       Yeah it helps a lot telling you guys.  It helps me move on and forget about the past.

       Well we will be by your side no matter what and now he has some amazing uncle's.  Colt says. 

       It means a lot having a some male role models in his life.  Thank you guys so much.

       I don't think they would be great role models but I get what you mean.  Amara exclaims.

       We all will be here to help you out.  I say.  Just as Dustin starts crying.

        Like right now.  I got him Scar.  River proclaims.

       Thank you guys so much it means the world to me that you guys are willing to help me out.  With it being only me and my mom its kinda hard. 

       Scar that's what friends are for.  Colt says.

       In walks River with a happy looking Dustin in his arms.  He takes a seat next to Colt facing him towards the rest of the group.

       So how do you guys feel about watching him next week while us girls have our planned girls day?  My mom was gonna watch him but she had to fill in for someone at work.  We were just gonna cancel but you guys said you would help out.  So how about it?  Scar asks.

       Well if its getting to spend a day with this little dude i'm in.  Colt says while gently rubbing his head.

       How bout you guys?  I question.         

       Yeah we all are in.  We don't have anything better to do and spending some time with Dustin could be fun.  Asher says.

       I was home now from dropping Dustin and Scar off.  When I walked into the house everyone was already asleep.  My dad wouldn't be home for another two weeks due to some important business meetings.  Tomorrow we were going to take Dustin to the Zoo and the Carnival.  The guys even decided to skip school for the day to come along.  Today was a big day for Scar and tomorrow would be an even bigger one I thought as I laid my head on my pillow.  I just hope Scar is ready.
