When I awoke to the alarm, today marked a week left until Thanksgiving, I felt sicker than normal, I got up and ran to the bathroom and got sick, 3 times, Landon was worried sick, I told him to go to school, I'd have my brother call me out, I dialed my brothers number and asked him to call me out sick and pick me up to go to the hospital, Landon kissed me goodbye

"Please text me when you know what's wrong babe," he says before he leaves.

I nod, "I will baby," I hug him and kiss him goodbye one more time before he leaves for school.

I go get dressed, wait for Steve, once he arrives, he brings me to the hospital, they run some tests without my brother present, then they take blood work, trying to figure it out. I lay in the room waiting, as a doctor comes back in, I look up from my phone,

Me- Doc just got back babe, I'll let you know what's up when I know.
Babe<3- Okay baby, I'm worried.

The doctor looks at me,

"You're pregnant Lucy, we can bring you up for a ultrasound to see how far along,"

Her voice started to fade, I was lost in thought, scared, I was only 17 still had another year of high school, so didn't Landon, what would he say? What would he think? Oh god what if he gets mad? Fuck.....I'm really scared now, I'll tell him when he gets home, I didn't realize I wasn't breathing right until the doctor put an oxygen mask on me and told me I needed to calm down or I'd hurt the baby or myself.

I nodded slowly, breathing slowly and trying to calm down, she looked at me,

"Do you want to call the father?"

"He's in school," I reply.

"Call him, you look him you need him sweety," she says.

I nod and dial Landon's phone number, he picks up right away,

"Lucy, are you okay?"

"Babe can you come to the hospital, room 4?" I reply

"Yeah, I'm on my way let me sign myself out of school," he says.

"Okay," I reply as he says,

"I'll be there in 15 minutes hang tight baby," he says, "I love you, bye baby."

"I love you too babe," I reply and hang up.

The doctor smiles at me, "Should I grab your brother?"

I shake my head, "No I want to tell the father first."

She nods, 15 minutes later, the door opens, Landon walks in and over to me,

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"I'm pregnant Landon, there about to bring me to see how far along I am," I look at him, his face showing a mix of emotions.

He kisses me, "Baby, I'm here for you, lets go see how far you are."

I kiss back, happy he wasn't mad about it, he was happy,

"I'm so happy you're not mad about this," I smile, as I get up.

As we follow the doctor, he replies,

"Why would I be mad? I love you, I wanted kids with you, not this soon, but I'll take it, because everything happens for a reason Lucy, you remember that baby."

I smile more, a tear sliding down my face, I wipe it as we arrive to ultrasound, we walk in, she leads us to a room, she sends in the ultrasound technician, I lay down , lift my shirt, she puts the jelly stuff on my belly and then uses the wand to look for the baby, she finds the baby, she smiles and shows us the picture, pointing at the sack, of our baby,

"That's your baby boy or girl, you're about 5 weeks by this, so you're due date is around Aug 20th." She says to us, printing out a few pictures of the baby.

She hands them to us, "We'll see you back here in 11 weeks, we should be able to find out the sex of the baby then."

We smile, "Thank you, see you then," she hands us papers to bring to the desk.

We walk to the checkout desk, they give me a card with the appointment on it, we leave to meet up with my brother in the other waiting room, in hand him the picture and say,

"I'm pregnant, " he looks at me as I say it.

"Are you okay with it? Are you guys ready for this?" He asks.

I nod, "Yes I am," Landon nods as well,

"I'll take care of her, it's my kid, I won't let anything happen to them," he says to Steve.

"Please don't, we already almost lost her," he says.

Landon nods, "I know, I got her, don't worry."

He smiles, "Treat her right, come over for Thanksgiving, mom and dad are going to be home Luce, they'd want to know."

I nod, "Okay we'll come, I'll tell them don't worry, I'll tell them on Thanksgiving, they are hard to get ahold of while working."

He nods, "Okay, bye guys."

We say goodbye, Landon looks at me, "You ready to go home?" He asks.

I nod, "Yes."

He grabs my hand, we leave, he drives us home, we get out and go inside, he makes some lunch for us, we eat, I get sick, then I go lay down, he rubs my back until I fall asleep, he knows it'll pass. He is still worried, only more so now that I'm pregnant, with his son or daughter. I sleep until he wakes me up, with dinner of soup, he remembered I didn't get sick last time after it.

I ate it, then fell back to sleep, I woke up with Landon for school, we got dressed, I ate some fruit for breakfast before we left, he drove us to school, he parked and got out, he helped me out of the truck, he whispered,

"Let's keep this secret for a few days okay babe? I don't want to tell the whole school yet they will find out, I want us to tell our friends this weekend, Natalia's having that sleepover, just no drinking for you."

I nod, "I know and yes we can keep it secret, expect I have to switch out of gym, so I have to tell the school."

He nods too, "You're right, let's stop by the office."

I nod, we head towards the office, once there, I give the doctor note, stating I was pregnant, they moved me out of gym and into accounting, Landon's second period, we left the office and he walked me to class, class flew by, when I parted from Tanner and Greyson they were confused as to why I switched,

"You'll find out soon enough guys," I say walking off to Landon, who was walking towards me.

"They are suspicious huh?" He asks me.

I nod, "Yeah."

He takes my hand and we walk to accounting, we walk in and sit next to each other, when the teacher comes in, I hand him the note of the class switch,

"I was just told, have a seat, welcome to accounting, Landon will get you caught up once I give you your paperwork," he says.

I nod, "Okay."

Class starts, and ends fast, as does the rest of the day, Friday flew by too, after school, we did our homework, got changed and headed to Natalia's. When we got there, we walked in together, they smiled at us, handing me a shot , I rejected

"Why? You love tequila," Natalia asks.

"Look , we have some news," I turn towards Landon, "I'm pregnant."

Natalia and Sasha run over to me and hugged me, Tanner and Greyson walk over to us,

"Congrats," Tanner says hugging me gently

Greyson smiles, "that's why you switched classes, congrats."

Sasha and Natalia smiled, "Congratulations!!!"

We smiled, "Thanks guys and yes that's why I switched classes, I can't play half the games, too physical."

Landon pulled me close, kissing my cheek, "Guys, I'm not drinking if she can't, it's not fair of me to be drunk and her to take care of me while she's holding my child."

I smile and put my arm around him, "You're so sweet."

Tanner and Greyson smile, "Your such a great boyfriend to her dude," Greyson says.

Landon smiles, "She deserves the best treatment, she never deserved our torture, we came about treating her that way to cure our pain, which made it worse, she never will get that again, no one will bully her again."

I smile up at Landon, there he went yet again with his sweet talk, it was all the things I loved , he made me feel like the only girl in the room most of the time, he kept his eyes on me and no one else, he never paid any attention to the girls that drooled over him and were jealous of me.

He never had eyes for any girl, but me for 5 years, he tortured himself trying to tell me, and never could. Then he did, when Trevor screwed up, when he hurt me, he was my light in the dark room, he pulled me out and made me not want to die, he made me forget for just a little while. Now we were expecting a baby, I wanted this to work out badly, we were happy.

I would be happy with either a boy or girl, either one would make me happy, the fact that I was going to be a young mom, that slightly scared me, but I think I'm ready to conquer it. I survived dying, this was nothing like that, I would be giving life, bringing a new life into the world.

They all drink expect me and Landon, we drink grape juice and play all the drinking games with juice instead. We all have a good time, I fall asleep in Landon's arm while watching a movie, he brings me up to my room, and lays me down, then lays next to me. He falls asleep wrapping his arms around me and placing a hand on my stomach.

When we woke up the next morning, I got sick in the bathroom a few times, he held my hair out of my way, rubbing my back gently. He grabbed me water, and I drank it before brushing my teeth, we went downstairs, Natalia was cooking with Tanner again, the smell made me nauseous, I ran to the bathroom and got sick again. Landon followed me, holding my hair, soothing me.
