Recurrance

Sans pulls me into another hug. That's sixteen since we arrived home. And we've only been home three hours, and I spent at least an hour and a half in the shower. He's been weirdly clingy. I think he thinks that I'm going to go on a murderous rampage and kill everyone, and he even told Papyrus to stay at Mettaton's for a while.

Sans is the most anti-Papyton person I know.

I overheard him making a few phone calls to people such as Papyrus, Alphys, and even Asgore. He was saying something about "me time" and needing personal space. I didn't interrupt because I think Sans knows whats best at the moment.

After he releases me from his warm embrace I find myself leaning in for a better cuddle. Maybe I'm the one who is clingy... I back off and grin at my bonely skeleton.
"Hey Sans, what do you call a..." My thoughts drift off to a similar joke I told beforehand...

What do you call a dying Goat?

Ewe.

I shake my head as tears collect in my eyes and Sans wraps me up in his arms.  I stutter my apologies but he just hushes me up. Tells me it will all be alright. I believe him because I know we can work through this together.
"No jokes from you Kiddo. That's my forte." Sans grins, and I sense the double meaning in his words.
"Let's build a fort!" I half yell, and I scrabble off of the sofa and onto the floor. I pick up pillows and blankets and Sans uses his magic to grab some chairs and sticks.

Even recurring nightmares can be sent away by love.
