Frisk

I chill at Grillby's for a while, catching up with the flaming monster. I crack some hot puns, and Grillbz laughs at them. I've kinda replaced Sans with the whole 'boosting everyone's morale' vibe, heck, Papyrus can't stand my puns. Grillbz puts my fourth small plate of fries in front of me, and I go to reach for the ketchup. My hand reaches out to the bottle that was next to me a second ago, but I don't find it. I glance to the chair next to me and see a familiar short skeleton.
"Heya Grill. Got any more Ketchup?" Sans barely spares me a glance, and I pick up a fry and chew it thoughtfully.
"Not for you Sans. Here ya go Frisk." Grillby hands me a bottle of ketchup, and I shake some onto my fries, ignoring the death glare from the skeleton next to me.
"Care to share Frisky?" Sans' aggressive tone takes me by surprise, and I snap my head towards him to glare back.
"Yeah Sans. Here you go." I throw the condiment in his face, and the whole bar goes silent.
"You wanna have a bad time Kid?" Sans grins eerily, and my breathing becomes heavy. Grillby, Doggo, and BunBun step closer to me, all in a protective stance.
"Back off Sans. Go home." Grillby murmurs, holding up his flaming palms in a shooing gesture.
"Fine. I can tell where I'm not wanted." Sans slips off the barstool and disappears, and I can't help the sobs that wrack my body. I slink off the stool and kneel on the floor, overcome with anger and sadness. My best friend, my favourite skeleton, hates me. Grillby helps me up and slides me into a booth, wiping my tears away with his pleasantly warm hands. For a fire monster, he doesn't burn.
"Frisk. Don't give up. Stay Determined. Sans will come back to us..." Grillbz sighs, and I know that Sans' attitude is hurting more monsters than just me.

"I hope so Grillby..."

"Hey! You didn't stutter at all with that sentence!!"

I merely giggle in response.
