Manami's POV

We walked into the cave expecting to find our temporary team mates only to find they weren't here yet. I sighed sitting down on a nearby rock feeling a little pissed off.

"Some members they are. Can't even keep to a schedule; pathetic." I told Akumu while we waited for the two idiots we would be paired up with to arrive.

"You're very impatient." Akumu smirked back at me and I glared at her.

"It's just bad manners to keep someone waiting." I informed her before turning to ignore her again.

"Hey it wasn't my fucking fault. You know Jashin-sama needs his sacrifice or else he gets mad." I heard someone shout in the distance and I sighed realizing I was stuck with another loud mouth like Deidara.

I watched as a muscular, tan-skinned, tall man who wore a white hood and a black mask, with his eyes being the only visible part of his face walked towards us with his annoying loud mouth partner following close behind him. His partner had medium-length silver hair that was slicked back. He had distinctive purple eyes and he wore his Akatsuki cloak open with no shirt, only pants under it revealing his forehead protector around his neck and some amulet. He also had a triple bladed scythe held in his hands resting over his shoulder as he continued to shout profanities.

"You must be the two that are helping us, correct?" the tan-skinned male asked us when they finally came up to us.

"That would be correct and you are?" I replied not really caring but wanting to get this over and done with so we could get going already.

"I'm Kakuzu and this is Hidan." he said while pointing to himself and then the silver haired man.

"I'm Akumu and this is Manami. She's not much of a talker." Akumu replied to him when he looked at us waiting for us to introduce ourselves.

"Man, she's fucking sexy!" Hidan shouted while looking in Akumu's direction. She immediately smirked and started trying to flirt with him. "Not you bitch, the other one!" he yelled pushing her out of the way. I would have smirked at her reaction but I was too annoyed at the loud mouthed creep that was now standing in front of me.

"We should get going." I said in a monotone voice, pushing past Hidan feeling very unamused at him at the moment.

"Yes lets." Kakuzu agreed with me while turning to lead the way.

"Hey! I wasn't fucking finished introducing myself yet bitch." Hidan yelled grabbing my arm and in less than a minute I had him pinned to the ground with his arm behind his back.

"I suggest you show me a little more respect if you want to stay in one piece." I threatened him and he grinned.

"I like my women feisty." he chuckled at me and I bent down closer to his ear.

"How about I put this in a way you will understand. You try anything like that on me again and I'll rip your disco stick off, are we clear?" I asked and he gulped.

"Crystal clear bitch" he spoke and I smirked getting off him and continuing to walk on with Kakuzu.

I heard Kakuzu chuckling slightly causing Hidan to be furious and try to attack him with his scythe only for Kakuzu to catch in one hand that had turned black. I sighed while they argued and realized this was going to be one hell of a mission.

"What is the mission anyway?" I heard Akumu ask causing the other two to stop bickering and face her.

"It's a money making mission. We have to sell the contents of a safe that is closer to the location to the highest bidder and maybe if we are lucky we will come across a bounty on the way back." Kakuzu informed her and I noticed Hidan was very unhappy about the mission he was assigned.

"I'm guessing you chose this one over another one?" I questioned when I noticed Hidan's reaction and Kakuzu's eyes widened slightly before he nodded.

"Yes. It was a choice between a war mission and a money making mission. Deidara and Sasori took the war mission so we took the other." Kakuzu said and I saw Hidan glare at him out of the corner of my eye.

"Shoulda known that brat Deidara would take a war mission." I mumbled to myself and Kauzu hummed in reply.

"We should set up camp here. The bidder's won't arrive in the location until tomorrow so we should rest." Kakuzu said when we arrived in the location of the safe and we all nodded in agreement.

Akumu and Kakuzu eventually fell asleep and I sat on a cliff overlooking the nearby town while Hidan took first watch. I jerked around when I felt someone come up to me and jumped to my feet. I rolled my eyes when I didn't see anyone behind me but then yelped out in surprise when I felt someone throw me into a nearby tree.

"Jashin-sama told me a lot about you. I would have loved to sacrifice you to him but since you're a fucking puppet I can't." he frowned but it was soon replaced with a grin as he lowered his head to my ear. "However Jashin-sama gave me permission to have a little fun with you, bitch." he whispered in my ear and I suppressed the oncoming shiver.

"I'm giving you one warning to let me go." I said in a low tone showing I really wasn't in the mood for this crap. He ignored me and kissed down my neck causing me to tense.

"Why would I want to do such a thing like that? I'm going to make you scream in so much pleasure and pain, bitch." he grinned at me but then froze on the spot. "What have you done to me?" he asked, his eyes widened in shock.

"What's the matter I thought you wanted to have some fun?" I smirked evilly at him making him release me and turn around with my chakra strings. "You shouldn't mess with a puppet master, we are the masters of manipulation." I grinned at him.

"Let me fucking go!" he yelled at me and I chuckled taking out a kunai and stabbing his side causing him to groan in pain. "Stop it bitch!" he spoke now a little frightened.

"Aw what's the matter? I thought you get off on pain? I guess you only like to watch your victims writhe in pain then, hm?" I questioned him before punching his jaw causing it to dislocate and then releasing him before kicking him in the shin. He fell to the ground and grunted.

"I warned you not to mess with me and this will be the last chance I give you. Next time I will make sure to keep up my end of the promise." I told him before walking back to the campfire to keep watch while he swore at me under his breath and fixed himself up.
