Doctor and nurses were running in operation room in and out. The patient condition was not stable.. doctor was finding difficult to say anything about patient health.. the patient was between death or life ....

While this was happening... outside of operation room there was someone who was completely standing numb seeing the person in the operation room... tears were dried but the gaze was still fixed with the person who was Struggling with life and death...

Doctor came out and saw the person still looking through glass window.. doctor tapped the person shoulder... the person didn't felt in touch because the body of person was lifeless seeing the love of life in hospital dying...

Doctor didn't knew what to do when doctor eye fell on two people who were coming running.

Doctor : are you both related to patient...

Controlling tears the lady in age 60 spoke..

Lady : yes... how...

Doctor : Patient condition is very critically... I'm sorry to say.. but there is very less time... but we will give our best to save the patient...

Lady: please... doctor... save....

Doctor : as we said we will try... but before that I need a family member signature... this signature means we won't be responsible if Patient dies... one if you please sign at reception...

Only death word made other lady froze but the lady in 3o or 40 looked at her mother-in-law..

Lady : Bebe....

Bebe : swetha..... I'll sign it.... you go there....

Swetha nodding in her head walks to swetha while Bebe move to the ot room and placed her hand... the person who was standing there was numb to react anything.. Bebe didn't knew how to get at the attention... finally not able to think any other called name of the person...

Bebe : Avni......

The person who is outside of operation room is Avni while Inside the operation room is Neil fighting Between death or life.....

Avni ears Went deaf... she only could hear Neil's voice.. his confessions... Bebe couldn't control her tears anyone seeing her standing like a statue... Bebe pulled avni in hug... Avni was there standing lifeless...

Her mind was playing three hours back..

Flashback...

Juhi pulled the tigger... before it could hit Avni Chest... Neil pushes avni... the bullet hit straight to Neil's heart... Neil wasn't feeling pain but he was smiling when he got shot... juhi and vidyut got shocked seeing Neil Between avni... avni breath got stuck seeing Neil falling down with pool of bloods and smiling there... seeing his smile broke her heart more... she ran to him and held his head and placed it in her lap....

Avni : why you pushed me? Why ... Neil... you can't die... you can't... Neil.... you won't leave me... right...

Neil was still conscious... he smiled seeing her tears... but knew today was his last day.. he will be joining his small family maybe who will hate him knowing he left his another family alone to suffer... Neil moves his hand and tried holding her hand... finally Neil managed to hold her hand....

Neil : Avni.... le....let... me die... this is my punishment.... making... you... all... suffer.... I... killed... my father.... your father... because of me... your father is no more... because of me... Avni don't cry for this man who..... doesn't deserve it... this man..... deserves... to die... let... me die... peaceful...... Avni promise me..... you will take care of yourself.... Bebe... mom... Neela maaa.... and mostly important...... I love you.... I do... promise me... you will be happy and move on... I am not the one for you.... you need someone..... better than.... me......... be happy avni..... I lobe you........

That was his last word came out of his mouth... his head fell in her lap... she was crying hearing him... for the first time she felt true love in his eyes... she knew she was falling fall for him but didn't thought this day would come in Their life...

She kept her head near his hearts and cried her heart out... juhi and vidyut was a watching them... this world is cruel... not for even once they felt any sympathy for them... Avni lifted her head and saw juhi and vidyut still there... before she could do anything the door opened showing rohit along with police...

Police arrested juhi and vidyut... Rhoit helped with few policers took Neil body to hospital... Neil treatment started immediately... Avni stood near the operation room gazing at Neil from the glass window....

Flashback ends...

Another hour passed doctor comes out... Bebe looked up hearing the door opening... Avni was still crying hugging swetha... neela was unaware of all this as she was out of county since few months... Bebe and swetha didn't Informed neela thinking she will be worried...

Bebe stood up and moved to doctor.....

Bebe : doctor..... Neil....

Doctor finally smiled...

Doctor : he is out of Danger... we took the bullet out... he is still unconscious... but there is one problem.....

Bebe who was happy hearing Neil is out of danger but hearing doctor next word she got worried again... she looked at Avni whose eye were twinkled hearing Neil is out of Danger...

Bebe looked at doctor...

Bebe : doctor... what's problem....

Doctor : mrs khanna if Neil khanna doesn't open his eye in 24 hours then i am afraid he might slip into coma...

This word coma become shock to them... Avni were already becoming teary hearing Neil may slip in coma... without realising she stood up... swetha called her name many times but Avni didn't stopped.... swetha was going to follow Avni but Bebe held swetha hand... swetha looked at Bebe...

Swetha : Bebe Avni....

Bebe : she needs some alone time... she will be fine...

Swetha nods and starts praying to god for Avni and Neil......

While other side Avni was walking bare foot on the road... half way she saw temple.. she climbed to the stairs... she folded her hand and prayed to god for Neil well being...

Avni : Bhagwan ji I never asked you anything till he left you... today I'm here standing front of you for a person who you brought in my life... I don't know when this happened bu I fell for him... I never thought my heart would be healed and so deep... today he is fighting for his life... Bhagwan ji please save him... please save him.....

She fell on the floor and starts crying when she felt hand on her shoulder.. she turned and looked up too see priest standing...

Priest : if you pray with your all heart then god will Listen to you...

Avni didn't mutter word but turned back and starts praying for Neil....

It's almost night time when a nurse came to Neil's room to check him... she was doing something when her gaze fell on him and saw him moving his hands... she immediately rushed out and called doctor...

Soon doctor Came and starts checking Neil.. Neil was finally conscious... Neil opened his eye and saw doctor.....

Neil : av..... ni... Avni...

He kept calling avni name... doctor asked one of nurse to call avni in... that time avni send Bebe and swetha home... avni stayed in hospital... soon she stood up seeing a nurse coming out the room......

Avni : what happened? Is Neil fine...

Nurse : yes he is fine... he is calling Someone Avni...

Avni : I'm Avni....

Nurse : please come with me.....

Avni nods and follows nurse... she went Inside and saw Neil speaking yo doctor... as door opened Neil looked and saw avni coming... doctor looked at her....

Doctor : miss Avni we will shift Neil different toon then you van meet him...

Avni nods...

Avni was sitting looking down while Neil was playing with his fingers... avni waited for him to speak but he didn't mutter a word... she looked up and saw him playing with his own finger making her angry... she looked at him making her nose red... Neil stopped playing as he felt strong gaze on him... he looked up and saw avni glaring him... he gulped his salvia and made innocent face which didn't do anything but made more fuel to her anger....

Avni : will you care to Explain why you did this?

Neil : a... wo.... av.....

He stammering seeing her anger.... he couldn't form a word... but soon he got courage and looked at her...

Neil : sorry....

Avni : why sorry? May I know the reason behind your sorry... Neil khanna I want truth only....

Neil once again gulped his salvia before speaking.. Avni watched his action but didn't say anything...

Neil : i only wanted to save you.....

He was cut off by avni..

Avni : lie more then see how you enter inside my room... speak truth....

Neil : sorry..... okay... no sorry... Neil what you saying... avni simply I pushed you because I wanted to die... at that moment the guilty was killing me... because of me my father, your father died.. and she died because Of you... it was my fault.... you landed there... because of your life.... was in... danger....... because of me...everyone is suffering... all because of me.... I thought.... if the bullet hits me... than I'm died... everyone will be happy... that... why....

As he ended he was awarded with tight slap... he kept his hand on his cheek where he got slap... he looked at her...

Neil : why you slapped me?

Avni : because of your foolish thought... you didn't thought about Bebe, mom or me... don't we mean anything to you.... we have no value in your life... why Neil.......

Neil listening to her kept his mouth quiet..

Avni : What will you do when I die... wouldn't feel bad... you don't Know how much it hurts seeing you here...

She said pointing at her heart... Neil looked her with teary eyes... Avni looked away as his tears makes her weak...

Neil tried cupping her face.. he got hold of her face...

Neil : I'm sorry... forgive you...

Both eyes were filled with tears... both of them tears made each other weak....

Avni : will you forgive me... if I did this.... tell me....

Neil kept quiet knowing he will never forgive her if he seen her fighting over death or life... he would have died seeing her in hospital....

Avni cupped his face and made him look at her...

Avni: you said you love me... but you decided to leave me... why..... so I can die every second in your death pain... it's not easy Neil...

She kept her head on his head... Neil closed his eye feeling her close to him......

Next three later Neil got discharged... he had to be carefully with his health.... avni took responsibility of his health.......

Avni was cooking in kitchen when she heard Neil's shout... turning off the gas she left to her room... but seeing her room empty she frowned... she was about leave when she saw box and letter on bed... she walked to bed and picked up the letter and stars reading..

Sorry for little prank.. I know you are busy with your so called cooking but what could I do when you don't give me any attention... okay before you get angry there is surprise for you... get ready and come to this address... I have picked dress for you... you never wore this type of dress but for me please wear... wear the dress only you comfortable or wear something else... come soon I'm waiting for you...

Avni smiled reading the letter and quill opened the box... she saw a beautiful greyish simple dress.... seeing off shoulder she did feel uncomfortable but thinking about Neil she decided to wear it.. she quickly went to Washroom and changed it...

Soon she came out wearing the dress and looked herself in mirror... she applied Little make up.. she was ready.. she took her phone and bag and covering her body with shawl she left the house. Bebe and swetha wasn't home today as they went to Bebe friend house for few days...

Avni reached to the address and found its the same House where Nandini and Manik use your live... she went inside and only went with darkness... she took one step when the whole lights was on... she was amazed too see all this...

She followed the the flower path and stopped front of room... she pushed it little and saw the room was decorated with red roses... she walked more furtive when she heard huskily voice... hearing the voice she Knew it's her husband....

She turned and hugged him... Neil smiled and hugged her back...

Neil broke hug and kissed forehead.. she smiled feeing his lips...

Neil took step down and bend down on his knees making her shock..

Neil : I know you shocked but I wanted to this very long time... Avni it's been 6 months since I have fully recovered... because of your care and love I'm perfectly Here front you... thank you being there.... you already know I love you but I wanted to do something different...will you marry me again.....

He got up and took her to balcony and made her look at the sky... tears brimmed in her eyes seeing will you marry me in fireworks...

Neil : that situations wasn't prefect for us... I want to marry with all ritual and vows with our family.. will marry me....

He looked up... she gave him nod... he smiled and slide the ring in her finger.. she smiled.. she bend down too and took him in hug... he hugged her back....
