Neil watching that frame without moving his gaze while Avni was confuse... but seeing him smiling looking at picture broke her heart thinking its his girlfriend... just mere word of girlfriend she left something in her heart... she didn't knew why she was feeling jealous seeing him staring at the picture....

She couldn't be anymore patient knowing who is that Person he is smiling like a fool.. she kept her hand on his shoulder... feeling a cold hand on his shoulder Neil turned around and saw Avni sitting beside him... he humped on bed and looked at her.....

Neil : w....hat... you... doing... here.....

He stammered front thinking his all secrets will be out but didn't knew Already damage has happened...

Avni calmly looked at him...

Neil : why... you here?

Avni : to get my answer...

Neil made confuse not knowing what she meant...

Neil : what answer......???

Avni : you have insomnia..... why you hid it....

Sweats starts forming on his body... he gulped his saliva and licked his lips while Avni watching his whole action and kept stern face on...

Neil : wh......at insomnia...... how.... you know....

Avni : Neil stop stammering and tell why you hid it?

She finally raised her voice over making him frighten... poor soul didn't knew Avni anger limits...

Avni : you trying killing yourself.... why... don't we have any place in your place.... aren't we important for you.... why... that day you stopped me from dying then why you doing this to yourself... why........

She stopped as Neil got the bed and saw him going to another room... today was no way that she will
Leave him knowing his pain or his past and why he takes sleeping knowing it will risk his life.. Avni followed him and saw him entering in the room... she went inside and saw the room was filled with many photo of couple and there was few pictures of baby girl like when she was born... Avni seeing the picture got confuse but soon she saw Neil kneeling down front of picture and took it from the wall and held it in his hand... he stared at the picture......

Neil looking at the picture thought...

Neil ( mind) I'm tried of all this... I'll tell her and die easily.... she has right to know why I married her or this guilty will kill me....

He kept staring at the picture when he felt hand on his shoulder.. he knew whose hand was it... this time he didn't jerked but with his hand caressed the picture.... Avni was watching him in tears... somewhere she could feel his pain...

Neil : you have right to know why I want kill myself..... then Listen... the couple you see my best friend and his girlfriend or should I say his wife... and my sister.... she was orphan when she met my best friend Manik... Nandini didn't had anyone but her life was filled with happiness you know why because of kids... she loved kids... one day she was crossing road but that day was most beautiful day... that day Manik found his love... from that day he starts following her without her knowledge... she didn't knew anything about this.... it was Valentine's Day when he decided to propose her... he propose her but she rejected him saying she is orphan..... Manik was broken but I gave him hope... after few weeks they met again... I become close to Nandini... I explained her how much Manik loves... she was carefully listening to me but she said she isn't perfect for him because she isn't rich enough and doesn't have family.. that day I gave her promise to protect... that day she become my sister... two weeks later she agreed to give chance to Manik... everything was smoothly... year passes when Nandini confessed her love for Manik... this was secret between us only... Manik approached to his family for Nandini but his parents said no... they said she is Orphan... Nandini was there too... the word orphan broke her hurt... she tried to killing herself but me and Manik saved her... after Nandini act Manik deciding something... Manik loved Nandini a lot... he couldn't lose her... he took her in temple and got married... I was happy very happy for them... I brought this flat for my wife but they needed this more than me... I gifted them this flat..... everything was going fine.... two years later Nandini was pregnant..... Nandini gave birth to baby girl.... two months later everything changed.... Manik dad got to know about their marriage and hired goon to kill them... luckily their baby didn't die.... that day was raining heavily.... I took baby to the orphanage..... I couldn't take her my home... Manik and Nandini was found near the road.... that day I lost my sister and my best friend.....

As he finished he looked at his picture.... tears didn't stopped from the eyes... Neil kept caressing the picture...

Avni looked at him with teary eyes...

Avni : they look so happy.....

Neil smiled hearing her bit..

Avni : where is their daughter?... what's her name... she much be beautiful like her mother right...

Neil felt his voice getting heavy hearing Avni words...

Neil : she.... yes most beautiful child I ever seen....

Avni : can I meet her....

Neil : no one can met... she left me... like her parents....

Avni got shocked hearing him she only muttered how and when...

Neil : a week ago I got call from hospital..........

He couldn't speak..... Avni understanding his turmoil hugged him... but he didn't...

Neil : she...... died.....

Avni could feel his pain as she lost her unborn child too... losing child pain she knows how it feels...

Neil broke hug and looked at the baby girl picture...

Neil : Won't you ask her name.......

Avni looked at him...

Avni : do I know her.....

Neil : nisha Manik malthore... my sister daughter.... my best friend princess.... I promised myself to protect their daughter but that day I failed..... because of me she died..... I'll never forgive myself....

Avni tried holding his hand... Neil knew he doesn't need any concern... he need to face this world himself and die one day...

Avni : why didn't you tell me......

She tried not crying.... in one meeting with nisha she felt connected.... she knew what nisha meant for Neil by seeing their bond she could guessed how much Neil loves her....

Neil : she was..... my baby... she was last memory of my sister and my best friend who I have lost too.... see how life is... Avni you should leave me too....

Avni didn't get what he knew it...

Neil : can I get coffee please....

Avni looks at him being all confuse...

Neil : I need to take medicine...

Avni nods and went to kitchen to make it while Neil stood front balcony and thought something....

Neil ( mind) should I tell her.... what if she hates me.......

Neil closed his eye buts soon opened it...

Neil : I'll tell her... she can hate me... anyway I'll die soon...

He closed his eye while a small smile playing on his lip while thinking about his death was on the way....

He opened his eye once again feeling the smell of coffee... he looked beside and saw her... Avni gave him the cup... he starts sipping the coffee while thinking how to start...

Avni sensed something he wants to tell but can't... she kept her hand on his which was on railing... he looked at her...

Avni : tell me...

Neil kept the coffee back in tray and took deep breath...

Neil : Avni that day you asked me why I married you...

Avni nods...

Neil : listen to carefully... I don't know if you know that you have bau or not.... actually....

He didn't knew how to say it...

Avni : Neil if you talking about ragani bau then don't..... I hate her....

Neil got shocked seeing knowing Avni hates ragani...

Neil : you know..... her...

Avni nods...

Avni : how do you know about her? Did you meet her?

Neil : before you freak out there is something you need to know.... you know why filled your hairline at cliff knowing you are no one to me.... then listen remember I got called.... that call was from your bau.... she told me to marry you.... I didn't wanted to marry... I was going to say something making me shock.... she said if I don't marry you then she will kill you and my family.... she watching us that only.... she had one goon pointed gun at you.... I had to marry knowing your life was danger.... after marrying you I took you home...you know what happened that day... after week my behaviour got changed towards you because only of your bau.... she called me once and told me to treat you like servant and make you suffer... see I'm not that evil to hit or slap I was only doing to save you and my family.... she has threaten me keeping nisha with her.... she kidnapped nisha.... nisha was my life.... I couldn't risk her life plus she was suffering herself.... somehow I got your bau arrested as I got proof against her and freed nisha... that you day you met nisha..... she was freed day before you met her.... I'm sorry for hurting you....

Avni was crying not because Neil made her but he was doing without his willing... she always knew why her bau hated her.... ragani never wanted daughter but she wants boy from Neela....

Avni couldn't stop crying when She felt Neil wiping her tears... she looked at him...

Avni : why..... you.... didn't tell me....

Neil : I didn't wanted to give you worry.... I'm sorry.....

Avni : I need something from you...

Neil looked at her thinking what she wants.... Neil gave nod still not knowing he is digging his own grave...

Avni :tell me honestly did you hurt yourself too...

Neil looked away... Avni understood seeing him avoiding her gaze...

Avni : why?

Neil : what should I do.... I had no intention to hurt innocent person... but forceful I did... making myself suffer gave me relief.... you don't know how it felt when I was getting beaten up... I deserved it... I have no regret doing that... I was happy seeing myself getting hit by someone....

Avni shed some tears.... Neil knew she will cry so he didn't turned to her... her tears hurts her..

Avni : will share your past with me...

Neil thought did hear something wrong... when he turned and looked at her but seeing her face he knew she wanted to know... though he didn't wanted to tell his past to anyone... but in his heart he knew he could trust her...

Avni patiently waited knowing his past.. Neil closed his eye and turned other side not wanting to face Avni... he didn't want her to see him breaking down...

Neil : it all started after 1 year later Nandini and Manik death... I was walking down to orphanage when I saw her.... it was first sight love... her eye captured my eye... I fell love with her eye... she was beautiful... she was working in cafe two lanes away from orphanage..... she didn't see me... everyday I use to pass her area before going to orphanage to get her one glance... while she working she looked heavily.... three months passed I was stalking her... one day I was waiting at the place....

Flashback...

Neil was standing waiting for her glance but didn't found her... he waited for another 1 hour when he felt hand on his shoulder... he got shocked seeing her... he got lost in her eye... he kept staring her....

Girl : I have seen you staring here... you want anything....

Neil : woh.....

He fumbled...

Girl : yes... be quick....

Neil : I love you....

Girl looks at him if he is alien...

Neil : I really love you....

Girl happily hugged him and muttered something Making him happy...

Flashback ends...

Neil : she reciprocate my feelings... I was shocked when she said she loved me.... I was happy.... I didn't tell anyone at home.... but mom and Bebe knew I was in love as it was clearly on my face... dad wasn't aware much about this... we were in relationships almost year.... I was happy with her till my dad passed away... I was shattered knowing his death... a week later I went to visit her.... her flat door was open... I went to near to her room but what I heard shocked me to core....she was moaning someone name... then I saw door little open... I opened bit and saw her sleeping with someone..... she broke my heart.... I was already broke with my dad death but she broke me.... I left the flat and came here..... this place gives me peace..... I Locked myself in room for week... I got call from home too but didn't answered.... a week later I got home and mom asked what happened.... she and Bebe knew about my love story with her... I didn't tell mom anything... and left to my room... a month passed when mom and Bebe got scared seeing my behaviour.... I use to skip my meals.... sleep night.... one night Bebe and mom asked me what happened...... I had no energy left so I told them..... what my heart said..... I told them the I girl loved passed away.... they never got knew other side truth.... everyone thinks my love died but reality she killed me.... only Rohit knows about this......... as the year passed I become rude, selfish careless and what other people thinks...... that was my story...... I regret loving her but you know love isn't in our hand.... we just fell in love with anyone or anytime.....

Neil opened his eye and turned to see Avni on the floor and hugging herself... he felt bad telling her his past... he bend down and took her body in his...

He hugged her while Avni didn't respond to him...

Another update... uff Finished writing this one... two long chapter 2300+ words... I said I'll update around 9pm but finished before the 9 so here it is...
