Ash's POV

Tournament Day...(Kind of rushed right?, Sorry.)

All of us are now getting ready for the flight to Kalos, I still remembered what Lillie said to me.

~Flashback~

I sat on a log just at the beach side, thinking about what will happen tomorrow, I almost forgot that tomorrow will be the day the tournament will be held. I'm not sure if I'm really strong enough to participate in such tournament, because, students in Kalos are also there, and of course, maybe my so so called 'friends', but not really friends, will be there.

Lillie noticed me and walked towards me, I think she's still not asleep, maybe she's thinking about tomorrow too.

Me : Hey Lillie, why are you up?

Lillie : Can't sleep... You?

Me : Same, sit here.

I offered Lillie a seat, she sat down and sighed, gazing at the beautiful night sky, with those stars twinkling brightly.

Lillie : So Ash, what will you do tomorrow?

Me : I will do what I will do, win the tournament.

Lillie : That's good, if we can't handle our opponents, I--- no, we will wish you good luck.

Me : Lillie, it doesn't matter if we will win or lose, what's important is we enjoyed battling there, we showed them what we can do.

Lillie : Thanks Ash.

Then suddenly, I felt a lip on my cheek, then I see Lillie on it, and with those red tints on her cheeks, what's it called again? Blush? Wait, the other one...

Me : What's the peck on the cheek called again?

Lillie jaw-dropped at my question, of course I forgot. Then I unconsciously received a playful punch from her, causing for me to laugh nervously.

Lillie : How could you forget?!

Me : It isn't my fault!

I continued laughing, while Lillie on the other hand, pouting like a wee baby, but I kinda admit, she's really cute, wait what?!

Lillie : That's. Called. A. Kiss! Remember that! Geez.

Me : Okay okay, I remembered, sorry, now give me a hug.

Then I was once more punched playfully at the shoulder, still laughing lightly, then rested her head on my shoulder, I immediately gained her access to my shoulder, and stroking her smooth hair.

Lillie : I love you Ash.

Me : Wait, what's love again?

Lillie stood up and gave me deadly glare, causing me to face-pale and sweat-drop.

Me : Okay okay, I was just kidding, sit back here.

Lillie sighed and then sat back on the log, and rested her head on me. Then once again, I stroke her smooth, like silk, hair.

Me : I forgot my reply, I love you too.

Lillie gave me a cheeky smile, then pecked me on the cheek once more.

Lillie : You know Ash, you mentioned that you have enemies at your previous school, what are you gonna do?

Now that she said it, what do I do? What will I do if I confronted them? I don't want for them to recognize me...well, not yet, maybe at around the semi-finals or something. And by the way, they still don't know that I have Legendaries, so I'm kinda worried about it too. What if they found out? I don't see any people having Legendaries in their team, so, I'm kinda nervous too.

Lillie : Ash, your zoning off.

Me : Oh, what did you asked a while ago?

Lillie : I asked if what you will do if you see them?

Me : Then I just don't have to reveal myself...yet.

Lillie : What do you mean reveal yourself?

Me : I'm gonna wear a different clothes? Clothes like...

I kept thinking for a while, I really can't think what to wear at the tournament.

Lillie : How about you just wear a mask and a cloak? All black?

Me : Sounds good, but I'm really not used to it.

Lillie : You'll be good in anything you wear.

Me : Thanks Lillie.

Lillie : So, are you ready for tomorrow?

I looked at Lillie with determination and passion, then answered her question.

Me : I'm so ready.

~End of Flashback~

We were now at the Pokemon School, Kiawe, Sophocles, Mallow, Lana, Lillie and me are now ready, we were still awaiting for Professor Kukui's presence.
While still waiting, Sophocles decided to start a little conversation.

Sophocles : I wonder who are we gonna battle with?

Kiawe : I bet this Sinnoh Region has strong trainers.

Lana : I bet Kanto has strong trainers too.

Mallow : I think Unova has pretty strong trainers.

Me and Lillie sweat-dropped at their talks, but I will agree with Lana, I came from Kanto, well, in Pallet Town, and I can see many strong trainers there.

Lillie : Don't you guys know that Kalos Region has also strong trainers?

Lana : ...Kalos too!

Mallow : Well, Kalos has pretty decent amount of strong trainers, I think.

I can't believe their talking about that. I sighed in disbelief and looked at my pokeball, today, I'm gonna show them that the 'Ash' they've been bullied, is the 'Ash' that has changed now.

Professor Kukui arrived at the Pokemon School, then greeted us.

Professor Kukui : Hello kids, are you ready for the tournament?

Everyone cheered loudly, then began laughing happily, Lillie, who noticed me not joining with the others, walked towards me.

Lillie : Ash? What's wrong?

Me : Uh nothing, I'm just happy that...I'm the one who changed you guys, it's really unexpected.

Lillie : Whatever you did Ash, you really changed them, they are now stronger than before, and it is all thanks to you.

Me : Thanks Lillie, I really need that.

Lillie : Anytime.

Then Lillie gave me a peck on the cheek, but unknown to us, Mallow noticed us, then screamed loudly.

Mallow : AAAAAAAAHHH!!! YOU GUYS SAW THAT?!?!

Her screams made us cover our ears, her scream is breaking my ears, maybe after this, I can't hear now.

Lillie : Mallow, keep it down!

Mallow stopped screaming and excitedly ran to Lillie, wearing those sparkling eyes.

Mallow : Did you really did it?!

Lillie : M-Mallow!

Sophocles : What's going on?

Kiawe : Mallow, you're being noisy.

Mallow : You guys won't believe this, but Lillie just---

Lillie immediately covered Mallow's blabbering mouth, preventing her from saying further informations. Mallow begged for her freedom, but Lillie won't let her.

Timeskip, Mallow calmed down...

Lillie : Thank you.

Mallow : Geez, you don't have to do that.

Lillie : Blame that mouth of yours.

Mallow : Okay, okay, sorry.

I sweat-dropped and nervously laughed, Lillie can be a little bit of strict sometimes, Mallow didn't do anything about it.

Professor Kukui : Now that all of you already calmed down. What do you say, we should go now?

Everyone nodded and cheered, well except me, because I have another plan, and I think that's time is right.

Me : Uhh guys, you can go ahead at the airport, I have some things to do, and can I also borrow Lillie?

Everyone looked at me with question, even Lillie,  I think they don't know what's on to me, but decided to agree with me. Lillie gave me her cute questioning look.

Kiawe : Are you sure Ash?

Sophocles : Are you sure you can catch up?

Lana : Whatever that mighty plan of yours is, be sure you can catch up with us.

Me : You guys board the plane without me, I promise I will catch up.

Mallow : Hey Ash! Promise me you'll take care of Lillie!

Me and Lillie nervously laughed and sweat-dropped at what Mallow said.

Lillie : Mallow!!

Mallow : Okay sorry!

Lillie pouted, it's really cute when she pout, every time she pouts, I feel like I can pinch her cheeks.

Me : Lillie, if you pout again, I'm so gonna pinch you.

Lillie : No! I don't wanna!

Lillie stopped pouting at Mallow, Mallow deviously grinned at this, also wearing that mischievous look, causing for us to make another sweat-drop.

Professor Kukui : If that is what you want Ash, then be sure you can catch up with us.

Lana : Hey Ash, if you don't want to board the plane, then where will you ride?

Me : It's a secret, I promise I'll catch up with you.

Sophocles : Okay, if you insist.

Kiawe : We will now go ahead.

Mallow : Take care of Lillie!

Mallow screamed what she will going to say, then ran off, not giving time for Lillie to catch up, then the others, who sweat-dropped at that, also walked away, waving at us. We waved back too, then looked at each other.

Lillie : So what are you gonna do? Mr. Maker-Of-Great-Plans?

Me : If I'll show you something, promise me not to say this to anyone else?

Lillie's face became serious at what I said, probably because this is also the time I'm serious about something, and should be hidden. Lillie nodded and agreed at that, I gave her a sweet smile and grabbed her hand, running through the forest searching for some clearings.

We finally found a small clearing, just near the school, I still can see the building, so does Lillie, we then stopped and then looked around, searching for some people around here, and to my relief, no one is here.

Lillie : So what's the big idea?

Me : Again, promise me.

Lillie : Okay, promise, what are you gonna show to me anyways?

Me : Meet our ride.

I smirked and then grabbed a pokeball in my pocket, then tossed it, the pokeball opened and revealed the Legendary Pokemon above all Legendary Birds.
Lillie's eyes widened at the sight, Lillie stared at it with awe, it squawked loudly, but thankfully, not enough to reach the school. Lillie was speechless after it's release, she really was awestruck at it.

Lillie : Ash, is it...

Me : Yes Lillie, meet the mighty Lugia.
