Ash's POV

Tournament Day 2

It is now the second day of the tournament, what happened yesterday really can't get out of my mind, I can't believe a Rayquaza, a Hoopa, which is kind of weird, but awesome Pokemon, and a Latios, joined me without hesitation. Every bits of that moment is really making me go nuts. And now, I can really feel my excitement flowing around me. I really hope I can battle one of them the next round.

I nudged Pikachu awake, I can't believe I didn't let Pikachu come out from the room, because I don't want the others to see him, maybe they can recognize him? And if that happens, my cover will blow up, and then I'm taking the tournament with my real name on, Ash.

My plan is I'll be saving Pikachu for the last, since he was the strongest on my team, maybe show him up at the semi-finals, because if I show him around right now, the others will find me suspicious about my team.

Pikachu was now awake, but still sleepy, grunting out loud for waking him up, but that was all solved by giving him his favorite, ketchup. He hurriedly grabbed it and opened it, smelling the fresh scent of the ketchup, seeing this makes me kind of weird, or something like that.

Lillie : Pikachu can be really weird sometimes.

Me : Ah! L-Lillie! Since when did you get here?

Lillie : Since I opened the door and went in here?

Oh, what a nice answer in reply, but I think she's right, maybe I'm distracted by the ketchup god when she got in here.

Lillie : Aaaanyways, be sure you'll do good the next round!

After that, Lillie gave me a peck, this time, not on the cheek, but on the lips, her sweet lips smashed into mine, we lasted for just a couple of seconds, and then broke free from each other. Man, I really could get used to it if she does it one more time.

Lillie : Bye! I'll meet you there! We'll be waiting!

Lillie waved goodbye at me, I waved back, them she went out and closed the door shut. Pikachu, who is looking at the whole scene, happily cried out.

Pikachu : Pikapi! Pika pika pikachu!

Me : Thanks Pikachu.

Phew, thankfully, Pikachu is really there for me, I wonder what I will do if Pikachu was gone, or I didn't met him in the first place.

Lillie : By the way, here's your pancakes!

Lillie handed me a pack of pancakes, Pikachu and even me were now drooling at it, Lillie chuckled and then went out from the room, for the second time, I'm glad that I met Lillie too, she's really thoughtful, caring, yep, lovable, and then kind, also gentle to others, like, everything.

Pikachu : Pikapi!

Me : What is it Pikachu?

Pikachu : Pikapika!

Oh! The tournament! I almost forgot! I thanked Pikachu, finished up my pancake, and then hurriedly went out from the room, but went back in, and decided to let Pikachu go with me, because I thought that I'm not the only one who caught a Pikachu, so maybe they can't notice that it's really me, if they found out already, that'd be ridiculous. Pikachu happily cried out and then jumped on to my shoulder. After that, we hurriedly went out and will meet Lillie and the others at the battle arena.

We now arrived at the meeting place, seeing Lillie and the others, talking with each other, then they finally noticed, and then greeted me good mornings.

Sophocles : Morning Satoshi!

Mallow : Hey Satoshi! Ready for the next round?

She didn't need to ask me that question, I'm completely ready for everything, I nodded in response, the others noticed Pikachu and then questioned me quickly.

Kiawe : I thought you dont want to let Pikachu roam around?

Me : I changed my mind, Pikachu is lonely in the very room.

Lillie : Well, I'm glad that you let Pikachu out, are you going to use him in this round?

Me : No, in fact, I have here the perfect Pokemon to use.

Lana : I wonder what is it.

Professor Kukui also arrived, he greeted us, and we greeted back, after that, we went in to the battlefield, and positioned ourselves at the corners, watching the screen for the next match-ups. The cards containing ourselves started to shuffle, while shuffling, I looked around, seeing if I can identify familiar faces other than these five, while looking around, the shuffling was now done, so I looked back at the screen, and then, my match-up is, a familiar face, but not one of them, if I could still remember, she's named Iris, the Dragon Master of the school. Just. Perfect! I'm going to go easy on her, since she's not part of them, but being easy on her doesn't mean I'm going to give her free win, no, not at all.

Lillie's POV

The shuffling was now done, I sighed in relief, I don't know the person beside Ash, but enough of that, I searched for my face at the screen, my eyes widened at this, I'm...I'm battling one of Ash's bullies, I searched for her name... So it's Dawn, Ash also noticed me and then...winked on me, I blushed lightly at this, and then shrugged it off, I just realized that my match is the first match for today, I'm really getting pumped at this.

We now positioned ourselves at the battlefield, at the other side, I can see a blue-haired girl, wearing a mini skirt and some kind of bonnet, I can't believe she's also part of those bullies, she's cute but--- Hey! Stop thinking about this Lillie! Save the compliments for later! I have to beat her first! Because this is for Ash! Like seriously, I can't let Ash down, he's counting on me.

I can notice her smirking at me, what's with those smirk anyway? Being so high for herself? Nah, let's just see what will happen to that 'proudness' when I actually can really beat her, I hate to admit this but, she really pisses me off with that smirk on her face, I'm so gonna defeat her to pieces.

Referee : This is a battle with Lillie and Dawn, trainers, reveal your Pokemon!

Dawn : Empoleon, spotlight!

Dawn threw a pokeball, revealing an Empoleon, Empoleon cried out loudly, before smirking at me, wow, like trainer, like Pokemon, wait, I can determine if she's...what do they call this?...Coordinator? Well, first off is her outfit, that kinda make me determine if she is a coordinator or not, I think she is, but let's just see how they perform their moves.

My thoughts was cut off, realizing that it's now time for me to reveal my pokeball, I can see Dawn waiting there impatiently, I was thinking for a second, what Pokemon will I use? Then an idea popped out, maybe I can use her, since she didn't have a battle for a long time, I think she's itching for a battle.

Me : Florges, I need your help!

I picked up a pokeball and then tossed it, revealing my Florges, which is an Eternal Flower, I researched about this at some books, apparently, Florges with this coloring is really a rare one, other people rarely see this Pokemon, now that I said that, I can now see people watching the Pokemon in silence, even the battlefield was now silenced at the moment I released my Pokemon.

At Gary's place...

Gary : ...

May : ...

Trip : ...

Misty : ...

Brock : ...

Paul : ...

Serena : ...

Everyone : WHAT'S WITH THAT FLORGES?!

Misty : Wow, I've never seen that kind of Florges before.

May : Is that a new Florges color? That'd be really cool for my team! You know, coordinating and stuffs!

Trip : First was that guy with his legendaries, next is this...

Paul : Is Alola supposed to be like this? Having all these rare Pokemons? And even Legendaries?

Brock : The Florges is so cool with it's black and red coloring.

Serena : Worry about Dawn, will you?!

Gary : Right.

At Lillie's place...

Announcer : N-N-N-NO WAY!!! A Florges with Eternal Flower!!! Lillie is really going all out with her opponent!

Dawn's smirk died out, I think that's is the perfect time for me to smirk back at her, the smirk face of her's was replaced with a paled face. I smirk on the outside but contained my laughter on the inside, she pissed me off a while ago, now it's my time to piss her back.

Referee : Battle...Begin!

Lillie : You can have to move fi---

Dawn : Empoleon, Ice Beam!

Empoleon quickly charged up an Ice Beam, then fired it to Florges, wow, she cut me off, that's really rude for her, and for my command, I smiled at Florges, thankfully, Ash thought me this eye contact communication, but instead of eye contact, mine is 'smile contact' Florges nodded and then hastily dodged the Ice Beam, in the blink of an eye, Florges was now behind Empoleon and then used Vine Whip, wrapping Empoleon up, then she ran around the battlefield, fast, with Empoleon still wrapped in the Vine Whip, after running and confusing Empoleon, she slammed Empoleon on the ground, hard.

Announcer : That was an incredible tactic!! By wrapping Vine Whip on Empoleon and mercilessly slammed it on the ground, Lillie isn't really holding back!

Dawn's face was now doomed in fear, sweats running down her cheeks, the crowd was cheering my name, making me excited in the inside, I wonder if Ash watches this, if yes, then I'll be happy about that.

Dawn : Empoleon! Can you still stand?

Empoleon got up and then cried loudly, impressive, it still has strength even if Empoleon was slammed on the ground.

At Ash's place

Sophocles : Wow, Lillie is really not going easy on her.

Ash : Dawn deserve that anyway.

Mallow : You're right!

Kiawe : I didn't see Lillie training her Pokemons, how come she's this strong? Maybe that Florges can lift up my Turtonator easily.

Lana : Or maybe my Gyarados!

Ash : You guys are really weird.

Mallow : Hey Ash, be proud of Lillie!

Ash : Wh-What?

Mallow : Come on! Don't deny it! I know you're proud of her!

Sophocles : Proud of...

Kiawe : Her?

Lana : So are you two...

Mallow : Yes and yes! The two of them are dating!

Sophocles : What?! You didn't even told us?!

Kiawe : Congratulations to you two, maybe we should celebrate after our rounds.

Lana : Our battles are coming, see you after your battles!

Mallow : Yep! You! Don't you dare go anywhere.

Ash : O-Okay?

Kiawe : Well then, see you.

Sophocles : We'll be waiting after our battle!

At Lillie's place...

Announcer : What will Dawn do in this situation?

Dawn was desperately calling up Empoleon if it was okay, if Ash was in my position, I bet he don't want to finish this battle first, maybe he wants this to be slow but painful.

At Gary's place...

Trip : I can't believe this...

Brock : She does that too?!

Misty : Did she really copied the guy?!

Paul : No, it's different, the way she acted, that's not what the Satoshi guy did.

May : I can't believe she's cornering Dawn.

Serena : Not to mention, her Florges is really fast.

Gary : Lillie is really amazi---

Misty : Worry about Dawn!! Not Lillie!!

Gary : Oh...right, sorry.

Trip : Seeing the speed of that Florges, I wonder if my Serperior can catch up with that Florges.

Paul : I think not...that's why we need a strategy.

Serena : I know, but how? My Delphox can only handle ranged battles.

Paul : I still don't know, but let's just see what we can come up with.

At Lillie's place...

Dawn : Okay, Bubblebeam!

Empoleon gasped for air and then blew it up, then bubbles are coming out in a fast pace, did she really think a single Bubblebeam can deal with my Florges? I waited for another command from her, and unexpectedly, she really called another command.

Dawn : Follow it up with Whirlpool!

Now that's what coordinators do, mixing up moves to make such great performance, Empoleon spun and then summoned a large Whirlpool, then mixed it up with the Bubblebeams, the huge vortex was coming towards Florges, but I just grinned, Florges understood this and then faced up with the vortex, before charging up a Moonblast, and then fired it towards the vortex of water. The Moonblast collided with the vortex, creating a massive explosion of 'fireworks'. The crowd was staring at the collision with awe, and so does Dawn.

Announcer : What an amazing performance!! Lillie decided this match to be a performance battle!

Dawn : If you want it to be like this, then I'm afraid you'll lose, Empoleon, Drill Run, then follow it up with Aqua Jet!(I know, 5 moves already.)

Empoleon spun around, fast, but then, Empoleon's power was added by the Aqua Jet, and now, the whirling Empoleon was now charging towards Florges, does she really think she's the only one who can do that? I smiled at Florges, and then nodded, before defending herself up with Frenzy Plant, Florges tightened the defense with Psychic, then Empoleon collided with the Frenzy Plant, but didn't even left a scratch at the root, Empoleon stopped it's move and then jumped back, Florges let herself out from the Frenzy Plant, smirking, it's time for her now to fight back. Suddenly, she just disappeared, and then in a blink of an eye, she was now in front of Empoleon, Empoleon was caught off guard at this, Florges then used Magical Leaf at Empoleon point-blank range. Empoleon cannot do anything about it, resulting for Empoleon getting hit by the Moonblast from Florges. Empoleon was now lying on the ground, with those swirly eyes, unconscious.

Referee : Empoleon is unable to battle! Which means the winner is Lillie and Florges!

The crowd was now screaming and cheering for my name, I want to admit this, Dawn really needs to train more when it comes to coordinating, I admit that she raised her Empoleon very well, but needs a little bit of improvement, I might not be a coordinator, but I do know something about coordinating.

Dawn returned her Pokemon and then went out from the battlefield without saying a word, I'm not going to pity her, in fact, she deserves this, that's what she gets from what she...no, they have done to my Ash, wait, my Ash?! Oh, nothing to worry about it, since I already admitted that I loved him, and those...kisses...uhmm...maybe just...uhmm...argh! Anyway! Let's just talk about this later! I want to go see them now! I returned Florges, went out from the battlefield and searched for them.

At the Champions' place...

Lance : See that?

Cynthia : That's a rare Florges she got there.

Alder : I think this girl will be the next strongest here, first was the guy with those four Legendaries.

Diantha : Yep, and I want to admit this, I'm really surprised at these Alolan Trainers.

Steven : Alola might not be popular, well, just for tourist attraction, but who knows there lurks many strong trainers.

Lance : But still, I wonder what's on his wrists, I wonder what's with that other one?

Alder : Well, let's just find out throughout this tournament, I'm sure the kid will use it.

Cynthia : I also noticed this but...the others also have those bracelets.

Diantha : And by others, you mean?

Cynthia : Trainer Kiawe, Trainer Sophocles, Trainer Mallow, and Trainer Lana.

Alder : That's not it, they also came from Alola, so I'm thinking that they have a relationship with this Satoshi and Lillie.

Steven : From the looks of it, I think you're right.

Lance : It's not important right now, the next match will be held now.

Gary's POV

No way, that Lillie completely destroyed Dawn, now I feel bad for her, the others was now searching for Dawn, and I'm so glad we found her now, she was just sitting on a bench at the hallways. We approched her and then comforted her.

May : Hey Dawn, don't be so down, you did good there!

Dawn : But...she just completely wrecked me...I didn't even got that Florges a scratch.

Trip : What ever you did there Dawn, you did great.

Paul : Look at the bright side, you showed them your coordinating skills.

Serena : Yeah! Even I was surprised at that!

Dawn : You guys...thanks.

Misty : Oh come on!

Brock : You know we're always here.

Trip : How about we grab some bite?

Dawn : Good idea...
