Zoe jerk awake and panic and aware of her surroundings she cried out and the room was pitch black she couldn't see even her hands before her. Zoe formed a ball of light in the palm of her hand which a illuminated the room, Zoe looked around to see that she was in her bedchamber in the palace on Asgard and not locked in the cell that she had been in the nightmare she had just woken from. She had to get back to Steve.... and the other Avengers. She was struggling to get out of bed when she heard a rattled of the door opening. She moved her hand to light up the door to see Bucky standing there with his hands blocking the light shining from her hand. "Bucky?" asked Zoe lowering her hands. Bucky stood in the doorway staring at her with his blue eyes which were filled with concern. 

Bucky moved into the room "Angel are you alright I heard you shouting?" asked Bucky as he moved to the bed. Zoe shook her head "No something is wrong Steve, my brother and the others are in trouble we have to get back to them" she pushing down the covers of the bed trying to get up. Bucky ran to her "Zoe what are you doing you need to get back in bed" said Bucky as he got to her side. Zoe looked at him and frown "Bucky I had a dream that the Tower was attack by Hydra and now the team is being held there in the cells we need to go back to earth" replied Zoe in a panic tone gripping his arm. Bucky pulled her into a hug as she started to panic "Zoe it was just a nightmare and everyone is fine" he said rubbing his right hand down her back. Zoe pulled back and shook her head "No James it is more than that, I have had nightmares this was so much worst...it was like I was in the room but was frozen into place and could do nothing about it" cried Zoe. Bucky was about respond when Athena, Thor, Hemidall and Artemis came bursting through the doors "Zoe good your up we need to leave something has happen on Midgard we don't know what but Hemidall cannot see the Avengers" said Athena. Zoe moved away from Bucky and running to Athena "Mom it's Hydra or more likely it's Peggy she has control of the Avengers and she told Tony about Bucky and now he is wanting revenge on Bucky and hates me for not saying anything" replied Zoe.

Artemis shook her head "It cannot be Poseidon took her immortality away and she will be sent to Tartarus when her time runs out" said Artemis. Zoe looked at her Aunt "I saw her she was young again I don't know how but she is and she was with Pierce and Rumlow I think ... I think she's their mother...." responses Zoe in a shocked tone as she remembers the dream. Athena's eyes widen "Zoe had a vision and Hydra and Peggy indeed have control over the Avengers" says Athena in weary tone. Artemis looked at Zoe in surprise "You have the gift of sight just like my twin Apollo" says Artemis shaking her head. Heimdall stepped forward "I believe Zoe has seen things that are hidden even from me we must take this seriously and got to All father and Zeus to let them know of the events" said Hemidall.

Zoe moved out Bucky's arms and he frowned "Let me get dressed and let's go" she says as she moves to the closet. Bucky shakes his head "Zoe let the others talk to Zeus and Odin you need to rest...." He starts to says but Zoe glares at him. "I can't not rest when people I care about are in danger and I am not about to allow that Harpy to lay her talons again on the man I love him... he is mine" she snapped. Bucky's took a step back his heart twisted in pain at her declaration of words. Bucky said nothing and pressed his lips together and only nodded. Zoe turn around moved to the closet with Athena following close behind her.

Bucky watched Zoe walk away as she did so his heart was shattering he just wanted to keep her safe and he loved her so much. There was a connection, a bond between them he knew she felt it, but she keep fighting it and continue to deny it. Bucky felt a hand on his shoulder and it pulled it from his thoughts he turn to see Thor there "My friend it will all work out how it's supposed to my friend just have believe in your bond" said Thor with a sympathetic smile. Bucky just looked at Thor with a frown " I love her and want her love in return but I will not force her in any way I just have to accept that she loves Steve and will never love me more than a friend" said Bucky sadly as he walked away and out the bedroom.

An hour later a group stood in the throne room Zeus had heard Zoe vision but shook his head. " Poseidon would not betray me he cannot he vow his loyalty to me" said Zeus in a thundering tone that sent chills down Zoe spine. Athena stepped to Zoe's side. "Father I saw Zoe's vision when I looked into her mind I saw Peggy she is the one working against you Poseidon maybe sworn loyalty but that loyalty is not followed by the next generation and she and her sons are working to put Poseidon on throne" said Athena with her head held high. Heimdall walked forward "I believe Lady Zoe has away to see past the the block that has been pulled over my vision remember before when I couldn't see Lady Athena then at Lady Zoe's birth it was lifted well the same magic is in place blocking the Avengers so I believe we should take heed in Lady Zoe's vision" said Heimdall . Odin turned in his seat to Zeus "My old friend I think they are correct and should look into this and but we should be cautious and not let it be known, so we can have the upper hand" said Odin.

Zeus looked at Zoe "Granddaughter I have decided what your trial shall be bring me proof that Peggy Carter is behind this coup and also bring me her head so I can show my brother the failed attempt if is true and then you may have the ambrosia" said Zeus his voice that filled the room in thunderous boom. Bucky who had been standing silently besides Zoe gripped her hand a surge filled her body at his touch she looked at him and she knew that she could do it with him by her side. Zoe stepped forward "Grandfather I accept the trial I just ask for Bucky and Thor to accompany me if it's not to much to ask" replied Zoe with a bow. Zeus raised his hand "Of course only if they choose to accompany and I shall give my gift I shall give the strength and spirit to stand in face of your enemy" said Zeus. Thor stepped forward " I shall be honored to fight beside Zoe and defeat the enemy " said Thor with a slight bow. Zoe looked at Bucky who just gave his crooked grin and then looked up at Zeus "I shall fight and protect her with my last breath" replied Bucky. Zeus nodded then clapped hands "So be it let the trial begin" said Zeus there was a loud clap of Thunder and Zoe felt her body surging full of energy and power she began to glow a soft purple with golden trim then it absorbed back into her body. Hemidall walked up to her and Bucky and Thor "Shall I send you to Midgard so you can get that snake" he smirked. Zoe nodded "Yes I am going to Neville Longbottom her ass" said Zoe.
