Zoe looked out the window of the plane which would be landing soon. She saw the Rocky Mountains below even through it was late June there was still snow on tops of the mountains. A strand of some red hair fell across her face which she pushed back quickly. "We will be landing in Salt Lake in about five minutes please put the lap trays up and make sure all items are secure and thank you for flying American Airlines" said a voice on the intercom.

Twenty minutes later Zoe or Lucy Thomas as she was on this flight gathered her luggage and was going to collect her car. Zoe cursed Tony for making her taking so much but it was stuff that the team needed and had asked for. She would be meeting Nat at the safe house and the drive from Salt Lake to the house was about a hour drive it was about 11:30 am when she finally got the car that Tony had set up for her another big SUV. She loaded the luggage in the back and put in the location in the GPS. She text Nat to let her know that she was on her way and asked if she need to stop to get anything. As she started the SUV she got a ding alert as a text message No just get your red headed self here and then we can decide what's needed" responded Nat.

The drive went quick Zoe took the exit she needed the house wasn't too far from Pineview Reservoir it was a ten minute walk at the most. As Zoe pulled into the drive way the house was a nice size and a wrap around porch. Zoe parked the car and was getting out when the front door opened. Nat ran out Zoe can tell she was packing so she slowed down and cautiously went to the front of the SUV. Nat raised a gun "How was the drive to the levee?" asked Nat. "Fine but the levee was dry"responded Zoe. Nat lowered her gun and Zoe smiled and moved back to the SUV to open the back. Nat and Zoe gathered the luggage and walked into the house. It had a large living room that was open and connected to the kitchen which would be any chef 's dream. The back wall was mostly windows that looked out on the mountains behind the house. Zoe set of the luggage down and went to help Nat with the rest.

Once all the luggage was in Nat popped down on one of the couches. "Wow you really can change your appearance it's a good look but I much prefer the original and I think a certain super soldier would agree" said Nat giving Zoe wink. Zoe shifted back in blink of an eye and just shook her head "Whatever Nat" replied Zoe blushing. Nat looked at Zoe with a smirk "Oh come little Stark I have seen how you look at him and... how he looks at you" said Nat in a teasing tone. Zoe just rolled her eyes and sighed "Nat while Steve is very good looking and a nice guy he will never get over "Peggy" so it's just better just being friends" said Zoe calmly as she could. Nat raised her eyebrow gave Zoe a small smile "If you say so but.." she started but Zoe cut her off "But nothing Nat so let's just drop it"snipped Zoe. Nat just shrugged  "Now I am going to find a room to shower and get the plane germs off which one is mine?" asked Zoe.  Nat stood up "Here I will help you with the your luggage there are four rooms left on the second floor you can take your pick!"replied Nat walking towards the stairs in which Zoe followed.

Zoe was drying her hair when she stepped out on the balcony of her room to face the mountains with patches of snow on the top. She sighed remembering camping with grandparents at Bear Lake over the 4th of July Nicole always hated it but Zoe just loved playing in the lake and riding with her adoptive dad and grandpa on his boat. Helping her grandma make dinner and shortbread cookies god those cookie were to die for the cookies recipe had been past down through her grandma's family for generations and when Zoe was twelve her grandma gave Zoe the recipe and that was one of the few times she truly felt like she had a family. There was a knock on her door that pulled her thoughts. Zoe walked back into her room to open her bedroom room door to see Nat "Let's go to Ogden to grab a few things you probably should shift back into Lucy while we are there just be safe" said Nat. Zoe nodded "Okay give me twenty minutes to get dressed and shifted" replied Zoe.

Zoe was walking around the electronics section at the local Walmart when she saw a display for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey she got excited she was sure Bucky would love this! It also had The Lord of the Rings Blu-ray  collection it had both theatrical and extended editions.  She also grabbed a few Disney dvds and just some others she was sure that Steve and Bucky would like. She moved to the men's clothing she smirked as she saw the Henley shirts remember all the TikToks with people swooning over Bucky in them. She picked her phone to call Nat who was waiting in the car  after a few rings Nat picked up "What's up Zo?" she answered. "Hey Nat what size does Bucky wear?, I figured he didn't have much so I thought to grab a few more things for him" replied Zoe. Nat gave her the sizes "That's very thoughtful I am sure he will be very grateful he said he was looking forward to meeting you after all what Steve has said about you" said Nat. Zoe felt herself blush at the remark "Well I just want him to comfortable and welcomed" said Zoe. "Are you almost done Zoe I think we should grab some dinner before we head back if that sounds good to you?" asked Nat. "Yeah give me like fifteen mins and I will be out and we can grab some cheeseburgers and fries if that sounds good to you" replied Zoe. "Yep see ya soon" said Nat.

Zoe grabbed the shirts and jeans and the other basics that Bucky would need and started towards the front. She was walking past the produce section when she saw plums. Oh Bucky would love those she thought. She grabbed a produce bag and check a few plums before putting them in the bag. She was twisting the bag close when she heard a voice that sent chills down her spine. Her head snapped around to find the source and saw a face that she hadn't seen in almost twenty years since she was 18 her adoptive sister Nicole or at least this reality's variant. "Are you stupid?" shrilled Nicole. The noise sent pain through Zoe's head which just shook. Zoe had to get away or she would lose her control over her disguise. She walked quickly away of the witch who had treated her like trash most of her life.

Once she made it out tho the car she could finally breathe and Nat got out to help her load the groceries and other stuff. Zoe and Nat silently loaded them but Nat could tell something was wrong but didn't say anything till the both were seated back in the car "Zoe what's wrong did something happen in Walmart?" asked Nat. Zoe shook her head "No not really I just saw my adoptive sister Nicole in there or this reality's variant screaming at an associate calling them stupid it just gave me flashbacks of my childhood is all" replied Zoe. Nat gave Zoe a reassuring pat on the back. "Oh Zoe I am sorry let's go get the food and some milkshakes as well and then head back up to the house. Zoe nodded "Thanks Nat" Zoe replied quietly and just stared out the window.
