Athena watched her daughter laugh as she was talking to her brothers Hephaestus and Hermes. It was a reminder of when Zoe was a baby and most of her a been drawn to her light like moths to flame, most had wanted the little girl happy and tried with all their might to get Zoe to laugh. A stray tear rolled down her face remember how happy she had been at that time. In the thousands of years Athena had lived those short six months was the happiest she had ever been all the mistakes she had ever made were forgotten because of the pure soul of her little girl. Her mistakes... Athena laughed bitterly now her daughter was paying for the mistakes of Athena's past. A hand on her shoulder made Athena jump and looked to see Frigga looking down at her "It's okay my dear...Zoe doesn't blame you one bit she is just happy to have you in her life" says Frigga with a gentle smile. Athena pressed her lips together and just sighed "I should have been there her whole life I should have raised my daughter but no... because of the fucking rules and jealousy.... My daughter was raised else where just to keep her safe from some of MY Family" said Athena bitterly glaring of at Hera and Poseidon.

Frigga just shook her head "I know Athena but look at her how strong and brave and intelligent she is and that all she got that from you. Being a mother is the most rewarding and challenging thing in the universe. We love seeing our children succeed and hate it when they fail but we have let them figure it on their on or they will never grow to all that they can be" said Frigga softly. Athena just nodded "Your right I just hate that she has to go the underworld to it's so dangerous" replied Athena. Frigga looked over at Zoe and frown a bit but looked at Athena "You know what it's like to be torn from your soulmate and how heart wrenching that is, I think going after Bucky will bring Zoe the true happiness she so deserves and you know that Bucky would tear the universe apart for Zoe neither will be at peace until they are together again" said Frigga. Athena just nodded and watched Zoe charm more than half the gods of Olympus and Asgard she smirk Charm she got that from her father Athena thought to herself thinking of Howard and his sly smile.  They had meet the connection was instant and Howard Stark had done what no god or man had done charm his way into Athena mind by not being intimidated by her intelligence and had actually keep up with her. They talk about everything soon he had charm his way into her heart and bed....Athena just shook her head maybe she should head down to the underworld to Ellyisan field and visit Howard...

Zoe looked at the statue it truly was horrendous her mother had given her a spell to shrink it in order to make it easier to carry it but that would only last till the gates of the underworld she would have to carry it full size while there. Thor came through the door with a loud bang making Zoe jump "My hell Thor you just scared me what are you such in hurry for?" She snaps at him. Thor just stumbled to a seat "Oh Little Bolt your mother asked me to be here" responded Thor picking a wine decanter that was on the table next to him pouring himself a drink. Zoe narrowed her eyes "Why?" she asked, Thor just shrugged his shoulders then taking a big drink "She just said to be here so I am" responded Thor finishing of his goblet. Just then the doors opened again to have Athena walk in rushing to the Statue and covering it with a blue cloth. Confused Zoe looked at her mother "Mom what's going on? Why is Thor here?" asked Zoe. Athena shook her head "My stepmother is on her way she wants to meet with you before you leave, so I thought it was best to have Thor here Artemis will be joining as well I am just being cautious" replies Athena. "Now let's get you changed in something more court appropriate" said Athena pushing her daughter towards her chamber. Zoe pulled a face and Thor just shrugged.

Zoe looked down at her gown in was a deep purple Grecian style gown with her mother's emblem at the shoulder. Her hair was done in a elegant bun nothing like it had been before the hair cut. Athena was pacing up and down "Mom please sit you are making me nervous" said Zoe. Athena looked at Zoe "I don't know what to make of her wanting to meet you, it just makes me uneasy is all" said Athena sitting down but she started to twirl her hair. The doors opened to have a group of people walking in the maid didn't have a chance to announce Aries came strutting in "Sister, Niece how are we?" he asks walking over to Athena pressing a kiss to her cheek and then over to Zoe pulling in for a hug which she tried to dodge but wasn't quick enough and he pull in tight. Hephaestus walk slowly into the room "Aries let the poor girl go you are practically suffocating her" he said pulling on his brother arm to get him away from their niece. "Oh I am fine right Zoe?" ask Aries. Zoe stepped away saying nothing, Aries just shrugged. A maid came into the room "Lady Hera queen of the Olympians" the maid announced with a curtsy. Hera came striding in the room deep blue gown that flowed with peacock feathers behind her. Zoe followed her mother's example who was curtsying Hera's cyan eyes looked around the room that Zoe whose brown ones, Zoe saw no emotion there just indifference. Athena stood next to her daughter "Welcome Hera, we are honored and delighted to have you visit us" said Athena sweetly.

Zoe gave Athena a quick look in disbelief but quickly changed to try to seem passive. Hera just smirked  "Daughter cut the bull we both know you dread this but relax I come in peace" said Hera her voice so melodic that it was chilling. Athena narrowed her eyes "So Hera what bring you here then?" she asks with caution in her voice. Hera just waved her hands "I want to admit I was wrong about your daughter she is worthy of being part of Mount Olympus and I welcome her there when she is done placing Poseidon's spawn in the depths of Tartarus" said Hera in a cool tone. Zoe just shook her head "Lady Hera I am honored by your offer but I must gratefully decline" said Zoe with a placid tone. Hera raised an eyebrow "You refuse a place on Mount Olympus you know how foolish that is many would kill for that honor, just think of all of the opulence and power you will have and you give all that up for what a mortal man?" asked Hera. Athena steps forward "Hera please understand..." starts Athena put Hera holds up her hand to stop Athena "Let you daughter answer the question or is she to weak to speak for herself" snaps Hera. Zoe holds her head up high "Lady Hera I can speak for myself, I am honor by your offer and it does sound wonderful but I do not need it. All I want in this life is to be around my love ones and most of them are on earth and I will spend the time I do have with them for as long as I can. As for my powers I don't want them but I will use them when need to help and protect others and a for Bucky he is worth giving everything up for I can't explain why" answer Zoe firmly.

Hera gave a loud clap confusing everyone in the room "Bravo my dear you pass" says Hera loudly. Zoe tilts her head "What do pass my Lady?" asks Zoe. Hera just smirks  "You pass my trial I just had to know that you were going to use the immortality and the powers you have been given for good and not for gain which is what I feared when I heard of your birth but now I know that you are worthy of it all and I bless you with protection in the underworld" she raise her hands grabbed Zoe's glowing blue with hints of green. Zoe felt a light tingle flow up her arms Zoe looked at her mother who just nodded. Athena went next to Zoe and gave a small curtsy to Hera "I thank you for blessing my daughter" said Athena. Hera nodded "I wish you well Lady Zoe and when you and your true love are reunited I see many children and a truly faithful love...cherish it." said Hera looking down her cyan eyes are full of pain but it quickly disappears and they are in different again. Zoe blushed at the thought of children but curtsy "Thank you Lady Hera" she replies quiet. Hera nods and leaves the room.

Zoe is at the balcony with Athena,Thor, Artemis waiting for Zeus and Hermes to come so Hermes could take Zoe to the underworld. "I still don't see why I can't come with Little Bolt I can be her guardian" complained Thor standing close to Zoe. Athena just shook her head "I know Thor but sadly you can't my uncle is only allowing Zoe and the Gargoyle we lucky that he is allow that he hates outsiders" replied Athena. Thor just rolled his eyes and huffed in frustration. Zoe just smirked and walked up to Thor and hugged him " Thank you Big Thunder" said she softly. Thor pulled back "For what Little Bolt?" he asked.  Zoe just smiled "For being so protective of me it truly appreciate it you feel like another big brother to me" she replied. Thor got a huge grin "Oh I have always wanted a little sister now I have one" he says happily.

Just then a maid walk in "Lord Zeus and Lord Hermes" she announces with a deep curtsy. Zeus come walking in with a huge grin "Oh my Dear daughters and granddaughter it is so good to see you now isn't this exciting another adventure for Zoe" he said greeting his family. "Father, let's hope this my daughter's last adventure and she can finally live her life in relative peace" replied Athena giving Zeus a frown. Hermes came floating in wearing his helmet and winged sandals. He a lean and athletic built with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes that matched Zeus's. "Sisters, it is good to see you, and Zoe my you look so much like your mother it astounds me" he said. Zoe gave a quick curtsy to both Zeus and Hermes, They chatted for few moments and Zoe was getting anxious. Athena noticed and wrapped her arm around Zoe and rubbed her shoulder.

Athena "I think Zoe should start on her way to the underworld that way she won't keep Uncle and Aunt waiting" said Athena in firm tone. Zeus nodded "Yes, it time now Zoe please do give my brother my best regards and tell Persephone her mother misses her dearly" said Zeus. Hermes scoffed "Really Persephone only left two weeks ago to spend her time in the Underworld Demeter needs to chill" said Hermes in mocking tone. Athena shook her head " Brother you will never understand a mother's love that she has for her child so shut it" snapped Athena. Zoe gave Artemis a hug "Still have that bow and arrows I gave you?" she whispered. Zoe nodded waving the bracelet with the charms. "Good, and I wish you will niece" she pulled away. Thor ran up to Zoe and gave her a big embrace "I love you Little Sis stay safe and return to us okay!" He boom. Zoe laughed and rolled her eyes "Of course Thor" replied Zoe.

Zeus walked up to her "My dear I am so proud to call you my granddaughter I know you will complete this and return with your true love and I will bless your union" he says happily. Zoe's eyes widen and blushed at the thought of Bucky "Thank you Pappu" she quickly and then she turn to Athena who was trying hard not to cry. "Mom I will come back and I will have Bucky with me don't worry" Zoe said firmly. Athena just smirked and shook her head " I am your mother it's my job to worry about you, now for your journey I have few things for you here are some drachm so you can pay for your passage on Charon's boat for back and forth" said Athena handing Zoe a fat purple velvet purse. "Give him one coin for each passenger and than this lyre is to put Cerberus asleep" said Athena handing a beautiful carved lyre. "Thank you mom" said Zoe as put everything in her bag and threw over her shoulder

Hermes who looked bored "Are we ready to go Zoe got everything?" he asked while checking the back of his left sandal. Zoe nodded "Yes, I whenever you are Hermes" replied Zoe. Hermes walked over and wrapped his arms around her " I hope you don't get motion sickness" he replied and before Zoe could say anything with superhuman speed they were off to underworld. Athena sighed and Zeus just wrapped his arm around her shoulder "She will be just fine" he said softly. Athena looked up into Zeus eyes " How do you know ... there is so much..." she started to say. Zeus cut her off " I know because she is just like you has your heart and brain and with that she can get through anything" he replied. Athena just nodded and just followed everyone back into the palace.
