They dragged Zoe along the Corredor down to the holding cells as they past 3 of the cells which held some familiar face all which ran to the front of the cells Zoe saw Bruce and Clint being held individual cells both stood in with surprised looks on their faces when they saw her, Bucky and Thor being brought in. Bucky was put in with Clint and Thor with Bruce. Zoe was thrown in what she thought was an empty cell. Zoe landed with a thud on the floor. Landing with her wrists out a sharp pain went up her arm "Ouch mother..." she started to stay when a hand touch her shoulder, Zoe jump and she grabbed the arm flipping them over with Zoe on top. Zoe looked down and was surprised to see Nat below her. The assassin also had look of surprise on her face "Oh Nat I am so sorry I didn't know it was you" said Zoe scrambling up off the the floor and Nat.

Zoe stuck her hand out top help Nat up but Nat got up on her own. "It's fine I probably would have the same reaction" responded Nat with a cool tone. Zoe gave her weird look "Nat how in the hell this happen? How in the hell did Carter take over the Avengers?" asked Zoe practically spitting Carter's name. Nat just shook her head  "I have no idea she just walked in a we all just froze and then some how Tony and Steve just weren't the same, they were like zombies" responded Nat shaking her head. " Why only Steve and Tony not the rest of you why aren't you change over" asked Zoe. Nat just shrugged her shoulders "No clue I just couldn't move neither could Barton and Banner so her minions just put us down here." Replied Nat. Zoe was fiddling with a black band on her wrist when Nat grabbed her wrist "What in hell is this?" asked Nat. Zoe sighed and looked down "It's a power dampening cuff that Carter had my brother make to take away my powers" replied Zoe.

Nat rolled her eyes "Why would he do that Zoe and why didn't you tell us about Bucky? And all the crap that was going to happen like me dying? Why did you lie to us how can we even trust you?" Nat rambled on shaking her head. Zoe huffed "Nat what I saw in the other reality was a movie and there are many different story lines in the comics so I didn't know what was going to happen here in this one so I choose not to say anything but I was trying to stop things like Thanos and my brother's and your sacrifice,  the multiverse is so vast" replied Zoe running her hands through her hair. Nat walked away and had her back turn against Zoe, the turn around quickly her eyes narrowing at her. "Zoe I understand wanting to protect us I get that and wanting to stop it but I thought we were friends I wish you trusted me to tell me about least Bucky and my death" responded Nat with a hurt tone to her voice. "I am so sorry Nat of course we are friends actually for the first time in my life it's like I actually have a true friend or a Kindred Spirit with you, I just didn't want to worry you about something that might not happen and Bucky it wasn't really my story to share" replied Zoe. Nat was silent but just nodded. A few minutes of silence Nat finally walked over to Zoe "We will discuss this problem later but we have a bigger like getting out of here, that thing off and getting Steve and Tony back" said Nat.

Zoe's eyes closed as she remembered the words that Steve and Tony had said she to her "You will never compare to her she is better in every way.... You were just a fling" Steve's words echoed in her head. Her heart began to crack and the tear started to fall. "You have been nothing but trouble for me.... I wish you had never came back" Tony's cold sent stabbing like pains in her heart. All the memories of growing up of Nicole mocking and tormenting her making feel worthless. "You're not my real sister...nobody loves you... my mom and dad aren't you real parents.... Your parents threw you in the trash..." Nicole's shrill voice rang in her ears. Peggy Carter flashed in mind with a cruel smirk across her perfect face.
"You are a freak and a monster everyone you love hates you! Steve came to me so easily once I showed him the truth about you..he will always love and pick me over you. Don't deny that you even thought it... so fucking pathetic" Peggy hissed and laughing at Zoe's pain.

Everyone stood in shock as Zoe fell to the ground screaming and holding her head. Bucky felt like something stabbed at his heart, all the doubts and the pain he had ever felt was ripping through out his body. He fell to his knees then he heard thoughts running through his head but they weren't his but he knew whose they were. His Angel, his guiding light from all the darkness he had ever faced, the women he loved was suffering. He had to stop this... he had to save her like she had saved him. Love gave him strength and he stood up the door of the cage and ripped clean off the hinges. Bruce's eye widen as the door flew across the cage. Bucky turn to him "Once we leave this cage we're going to need the green guy Banner" snapped Bucky. Bruce just nodded and moved behind Bucky who was some what stumbling towards Zoe.

Nat moved close to Zoe as she was laying on the floor screaming "Zoe, Zoe what's wrong, can you hear me?" asked Nat worried as she saw Zoe crumble in the fetal position. "They hate me.... I am worthless...." screamed Zoe, Nat moved closer "Who hates you? Zoe whats's going on? asked Nat as she looked at Zoe then something caught her eye a green spark from the black band on Zoe's wrist then Zoe moved around like she was in pain. "Everyone hates me.. everyone...hates" cried Zoe. Nat pulled Zoe close "No Zoe not everyone hates to we all care about you" responded Nat. Nat heard a loud band and turn to see Bucky standing at the door and the Hulk moving towards Thor and Clint's cell. Her eyes widen to see Bucky rip off the door like it was a piece of paper and his focus was Zoe. Nat moved in front of him to block Zoe "Barnes or Solider?" she asked tensely. Bucky looked at her then at Zoe his eyes softened but he frown watching Zoe screaming. "Barnes" was all that he responded. Nat nodded and moved to the side as Bucky rushed to Zoe picking her up and holding her close.

Bucky pulled her close to his chest "Zoe my Angel, my light please don't listen to their lies you are loved, So loved ... you bring so much light and joy to all that know you.. please don't listen to them" he whispers in her ear. Another green spark came from the band and Zoe screamed louder "Hates..not worth it" Zoe cried. Bucky grimaced and picked up her hand looking at quickly. Nat moved close to him " I think the band is somehow causing this we need to get that off" said Nat with anger in her voice.  Bucky watched Zoe toss and turn his arm he hated that he couldn't stop her pain and torment. He gently cupped her face making her looked in his eyes which made her stop moving. It was like the world stopped moving and it was just them "Zoe, listen to me you are loved believe me when say it and don't fall to the darkness we need your light, don't let that bitch win" said Bucky firmly. Another spark hit Zoe and she start to moan in pain "Who could ever love a freak like m.." she started to say but Bucky stopped her from finishing "I LOVE YOU Zoe from the moment I laid eyes on you there was a connection something that pulled me from the darkness and into your light consuming me with all that was you goodness and love no judgement despite all that I had done" he said tears slowly flowing down his face. Zoe was silent not moving but staring at him "Oh Zoe I know it may seem hopeless right now but Angel you have to fight it and not listen because it's all lies and know that you're worthy of all the love in world and I can show you" he said looking at her without thinking he lean in and kissed her.

It was soft and gentle but the pull was strong and powerful soon her lips were move with his and he couldn't think of anything else but showing how much he did love her. The was another green spark but Zoe didn't seem to feel any pain. Their hearts which had been unsteady and broken before started to rhythm together one strength the other and whole. A warm and calm feeling filled Bucky's and he knew that Zoe felt it too. He knew that they were meant to be together that bond would get them through anything that life had to throw at them.

Bucky regrettably, and slowly pulled away , their breath were heavy and slowly. Zoe looked at him wide eye "That was..." she couldn't even finish the sentence.  He just smiled "Oh I know Angel" was all that he responded, Bucky leaned forward and kiss her forehead lightly and whispered "Do you know now how much you are loved and I promise not just by me all the people in our lives" said Bucky. Zoe gave a short nod but then frown "What about Tony and .... Steve" she said unsteadily.  Bucky shrugged his shoulders, " I think I have an answer to that"said Clint. Both Bucky and Zoe turned and looked him, Zoe blushed she had totally forgot about everyone else while that kiss with Bucky. They both quickly stood up  and looked at everyone trying not to be embarrassed. "I think Carter is controlling them by their emotions and Tony's and Steve's feelings towards Zoe" said Clint. Bruce nodded "I think I see where your coming from when Carter first came and was showing the clips from the other reality's movies I heard whispers It's all her fault , She lied to you, she is a freak!" said Bruce.  Clint nodded in agreement "I heard that to but I knew that it was true yes it was hard to watch but Zoe was no where in sight in those scene and I knew she can be trusted because she never told anyone about my family she even gave my kids fossils and geo rocks which they loved Zoe" said Clint.

Nat nodded "I heard it too but and was mad but I watched Tony and Steve it was like rage consumed them, and everything changed and Peggy grew stronger, their love for Zoe was turn in to hate " said Nat. Zoe stepped forward "The bitch is controlling Tony and Steve.. I am going to kill her" snapped Zoe. Bucky grabbed her hand "She's stealing your bonds with people to make herself stronger why not Tony your big brother and Steve your...." Bucky said but was cut off by aloud bang the the basement doors.

Tony came flying in his suit and Steve in a new black suit with a red symbol of crossed it's chest. All of the other Avengers got in stance all of them surrounding Zoe. "Well, well it seems like the slut has gathered her team" snapped Steve bitterly. Zoe narrowed her eyes at him and saw that they were a cold grey still. "I would be careful what say unless you want Barnes to go all Winter Solider on your ass Rogers" said Nat. Steve just laughed "Oh I like to see him try I know he finally got that kiss he so desperately want so freakin pathetic" replied Steve his lips twitching in annoyance at the thought of Zoe and Bucky. Tony raised his helmet "What would dear daddy think of his dear daughter being with his murderer ?" Tony asked with sneer on his face. Zoe stepped forward "Dad knows what happened to Bucky and doesn't blame him at all, Tony he is so proud of us, and he wouldn't want you let hate control you, believe me" replied Zoe.
She saw flicker in his eyes of doubt "Tony, Bubba I should have told you but I wanted Bucky better and you could see how an amazing man he is, he has every right to turn his back on the world and want revenge but no he fights the evil so that what happened to him happens to no one else, he is a good man just like our father" said Zoe walking slowly up to Tony.

Tony was hearing her words it was so confusing, many thoughts clouded his mind. "Bubba please I love you and I am so sorry"said Zoe. "Son listen to Zoe she speaks the truth Peggy just wants revenge and she is using you don't let Peggy control you. Remember what it felt like when you first held Zoe and how much love you felt for her and how she brought us together remember the love" said a voice who sounds like his father.  The memories came flood back all the times they had together the joy and the love and a faint song filled his mind

The music faded and his thoughts cleared "Zoe, oh Zo Zo I am so sorry" said Tony. He ran across the room and Zoe did too "Bubba?" She asked as she saw that his eyes turn to their cinnamon brown and not black. "I am back Bubba is back" replied Tony. Zoe ran to Tony hugging which was hard in the suit. It was nice to look in Tony's eyes to see warmth and love and not darkness and hatred.

Zoe relief soon turn was squashed when she heard the sound of high heels walking towards them. All turn to see Peggy glaring at them all "So the little bastard has broken the hold I have Stark I wonder how?" She snaps. Zoe just rolls her eyes "It's called love you stupid snake, but then again you wouldn't know anything about that right Peg cause no would ever love a horse ass" replied Zoe snarky. "You will never know love and the kind of bonds that it can create and you let hate consume your heart" Zoe continues. Peggy flinched at her words "She does know love she has me"said Steve. Zoe saw Peggy rolled her eyes at Steve's comment. "Peggy this can all stop and you can come back to Asgard with Thor and I and keep your head or fight and lose it" said Zoe firmly. Peggy just shook her head "No I came to far to stop now, I think I will take my chances" replied Peggy. Zoe just nodded "So be it, I call heads" Zoe called out.
