Chapter 7
*Edited*
Three days. That's all it took for the tabloids to get the incident out. Now look where I am, in a meeting with the guys and John.
John throws three tabloids onto the table.
"Read these Michael," he demands.
He was pissed. Just as pissed as when Calum sent nudes. Maybe more. I look at the tabloids, picking one up. I was on the front cover.
Michael Clifford goes out on fan after a show. What got this rockstar upset?

I don't even bother with the article. I pick up the next.
Michael Clifford seen yelling at a girl about his daughter. Could this be his baby mama?
Page 7
Pretty much. I look at the next.
Rockstar, Michael Clifford, takes his after-show rage out on young girl. Is he always like this after a show?
Page 2
No. I'm really not like this after a show. I look at John. His nostrils were flaring. If he got another pinch of madness, he might as well be a dragon.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, Michael?" He suddenly yells, making me flinch back. "Tell me why you yelled at her God dammit!"
"Because she's the person that gave birth to my daughter, and made me think she was trying to take her back! I'm not losing Dani, John!" I yell, trying not to cry.
Then there's a long moment of silence.
"That gives you no excuse to go yelling at her. Simply talk it out," he says sternly.
He's not yelling anymore. I could tell by his face that he felt bad for yelling. We both knew this wasn't good though.
"Yes sir," I sigh, knowing I wasn't going to win.
He doesn't understand though!
-At The Hotel-
I was laying on the hotel bed, waiting for the guys to get back from the pool. That's when I hear yelling from somebody. It sounded like a girl. Maybe my age or younger.
"Get the hell away from me Garrett!" I hear yell.
"Ba-" a deep voice starts, but is soon cut off with more yelling.
"Don't baby me! Go take your fake trash and leave," I hear her yell with her voice cracking.
What the actual fuck is going on?
I stand up from my bed, and walk over to the door. The yelling has now stopped, and there was a slam of a door. Instead of screaming, there was crying.
I grip my hand around the knob, and push down. I pull the door open to see a crying girl. Maybe a year older than me, so about twenty four. Maybe a little younger.
"Hey, uh, you okay?" I ask.
She looks up, and sniffs.
"Uh yeah," she mutters.
I wedge the metal thing between the door and frame. I walk over to her, sitting down next to her.
"What was that all about?" I ask.
"Nothing. It's... it's nothing," she sighs.
"C'mon. You can tell me," I urge.
She starts to cry even harder.
"So, I come home from the spa, and I walk into my hotel room, well, my now ex fiance was having sex with another woman," she cries. "The worst part is, I'm pregnant. With his child."
She cries even harder.
"I know how you feel. Kind of," I inform.
"What do you mean?" she asks.
"Well, I have a little girl back at home. Her name is Dani, that's short for Danielle. Well, I didn't meet her until she was about three months old, but her mum couldn't afford to take care of her. Her mum was uh, she was a one night stand, so uh, I didn really know her. So it was just me and it still is, but I'm not really looking for a girlfriend or anything, because I like it being just me and her."
She sniffles.
"What am I supposed to do now? Am I going to be single forever because of it?" she wonders aloud.
"No. I'm sure there's somebody out there who'll love you with a kid or not."
"I'm not ready to be a mom! I don't know how to take care of a baby! I'd be the worst mom ever!" she panics.
"I thought I was going to be a bad dad when I first found out about Dani. I didn't want anything to do with her for a while, but I straightened up my act and took care of her. She became my whole world. It all gets easier after the first few months. And then, once the kid turns one, it goes by so fast."
She sniffles once again.
"If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? You don't sound like you're from around here," she says.
I chuckle lightly.
"I'm from Australia," I inform.
"And what are you doing here in America when your daughter's all the way over there?"
"Well, I'm in this band, and we're traveling the world, because we're on tour. This is my first tour without her. I couldn't take her this time, because she has school."
"Do you miss her?"
"Yeah. I miss her a lot. I skype and call her everyday when I get the chance. When I can't, I make sure to call her as soon as possible."
"That's cute. By the way, what's your name?"
"Michael. Michael Clifford."
"Oh, I think I've heard of you. Aren't you from One Direction or something?"
I snort. Oops.
"No, I'm in 5 Seconds Of Summer. I've toured with them before though," I laugh.
"Oh. Close enough. My friend's a fan. But uh, I'm Faelyn. Faelyn Santiago," she smiles. "You can call me Fae though."
"Nice to meet you, Fae," I smile shaking her hand.
"Right back at you, Michael," she smiles back.
"Why don't you go in my hotel room for a little bit? I'm sure you don't want to see that jackass right now," I suggest.
"Sure," she smiles standing up.
I walk into the hotel room with her right behind me.
"Want to meet my daughter? I'm sure she'd like a call from me since this is about the time I call her," I smile.
"Yeah, sure!"
I grab the laptop, and pull up Skype. I click mum's name. It starts to ring. Within five rings, it's accepted.
"Daddy!" Dani squeals.
"Dani!" I mock.
"Who's that?" she asks referring to Fae.
"This is Faelyn. You can call her Fae if you want," I inform.
"Hi Fae!" she giggles.
"Hi," Fae smiles.
"Guess what daddy!" Dani says with excitement.
I chuckle.
"What princess?" I ask.
"I have a new friend! His name is Carson," she lets out happily.
"Aw, is he your new boyfriend?" I tease.
"No," she murmurs, blushing very hard.
"Aw, my little Dani has a crush!"
"No I don't daddy!"
"You're so mean to your daughter," Fae laughs.
"Where's uncles?" Dani asks.
Almost as if on cue, the boys walk in laughing. They take a double take when they see Fae.
"Who's this Mike?" Calum smirks.
"Fae..." I say, trailing off in the end.
"Aw, Mikey's got a girlfriend! Mikey's got a girlfriend, Mikey's go-" Luke chants.
"Shut it Hemmings," I snap. "She's not my girlfriend geniuses. She's just a friend."
"Uncles!" Dani squeals. "Guess what!"
Here we go again.
Omg! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in years! Writer's block got to me. Plus the little break I took...
Buuuuut, what do you think of Fae? I'm definitely planning to keep her around... that's all I'm saying.
Also, do I'm going to start doing questions after every chapter. So here's the question.
Q: Do you think Michael over reacted with the Sadie Incident?
MR (my response): Personally, no. I probably would've done the same if I were him.
YR (your response):
