It's been two weeks since I found out that Dani could go on tour with me. Now, it was time to go and I didn't have to leave her this time.

Dani was sleeping while I was doing last minute packing. It was 5am. We leave a 6am and get to the airport at 6:30am. Our flight leaves at 7am.

I went over my list several times before going on to finish Dani's packing. I grabbed her pink, My Little Pony backpack. I stuffed some pajamas that were meant for warmer weather. I also packed her little, baby blue sweatshirt that had Clifford on the back, in white printing.

I packed her tablet, as well as some stuffed animals. I pack a coloring book and crayons for good measures.  I run down to the kitchen and grab her sippy cup, knowing she'll want it for her drinks. I go back up to her room and complete the rest of the packing. I walk over to he bed and begin to wake her up.

"Dani, baby, do you want anything special packed for our trip?" I ask.

She nods wearily. She grabs her blue, baby blanket and hands it to me. She looks around her room and on her bed. She grabs her stuffed elephant and hands it to me. Fae had gotten that for her birthday. She also hands me her stuffed tiger, that I had given to her as a baby.

I stuff those in her bag as well, and zip it up.

"Do you want to carry one of your animals?" I ask.

She nods and takes the tiger. I shove the elephant in her bag and zip it up. I grab her luggage and drag it down to the living room, just as there's a knock on the door. The door unlocks, and the guys walk in.

"Ready mate?" Calum asks.

I nod. "Almost. Let me go say bye to Fae and grab Dani. I'll also have to bring down my suitcase."

"Okay. Hurry!" Ashton demands.

I run upstairs, grab my suitcase, and slide it down the stairs, not even botherin to take I down myself. I notice the guys start taking out the luggage. I walk into Dani's room to see Danu sleeping again.

I pick her up, and cover her with her baby blanket. I make sure to grab the tiger before walking into Fae's room.

"Hey Fae? I'm leaving," I inform.

She sits up wearily. "Shit, I forgot. Let me go say bye to the guys."

She stands up and begins to walk. She leans back slightly to keep from falling forward as we descend down the steps. She hugs the guys with her pregnant belly, getting in the way of each proper hug. She says goodbye. She gives me a side hug.

"Bye Dani," she whispers to Dani.

Dani wakes up and looks at her. "Bye bye Aunt Fae," she whispers back.

Fae kisses her forehead and watches us leave.

*plane ride (woo!)*

Dani sat right next to me with her head on my lap. We were waiting for the flight to take off. Calum sat by the window, Dani was in the middle, and I was next to isle. Liz, Luke, and Ashton sat right behind us.

It was then time to buckle our seatbelts.

"Dani, you need to buckle up," I whisper.

She just mumbles something and ignores what I said. I push her into a sitting position and buckle her myself. As soon as the flight takes off, she wakes up and begins to cry.

This was very normal for her. She's always hated this part of the flight. I hate putting her through it. I can't do anything except comfort her until we can unbuckle again.

Once the worst part was over, I unbuckled her. She immedietely cuddled into my chest sobbing. Somebody asked me to shut her up. I just flipped them off and continued to comfort her.

"Calm down," I soothe.

Once she finally does so, I set her back in her seat. She grabs her tiger and lays back down. I cover her with her baby blanket once again.

"Daddy, I'm thirsty," she complains.

"Okay babes. I'll see what u can do," I smile.

I lift her head off my lap and stand up. I grab her carry on, backpack, and sit back down. I grab her sippy cup and set her backpack next to us on the floor. Within a minute, a waitress was walking by.

"Excuse me," I say, getting her attention.

She looks over and smiles warmly.

"Can my daughter get something to drink?" I ask.

She nods. "Would she like milk, apple juice, grape juice, or orange juice?"

I look over at Dani. "What one?"

"Milk!" she cheers.

The lady smiles. "Would you like animal crackers, too?"

Dani nods excitedly.

"I know this is probably a pain, but could you put the milk in this please?"  I ask, holding up her sippy cup.

She nods with a smile. "Of course."

She takes the cup and walks away.

"Grandma Liz!" Dani says, trying to get Liz's attention.

Liz looks over a smiles. "Hi sweetie," she cooes.

"Guess what!" she giggles, happily. Liz hums. "I get milk and animal crackers!"

Liz chuckles to herself. "Wow! Why don't you sit down, okay?"

Dani sits and looks around. She climbs onto Calum's lap. He looks down at her and pull out his earbuds.

"What's up young child?" he asks.

Dani shrugs and looks at his arms.

"Why do you have these?" she asks, pointing at one of his arm tattoos.

"Because I wanted one," he explains simply.

"Can I get one?" she asks.

He laughs slightly. "Sure. When we land, I'll find you a glittery tattoo!"

She giggles and nods. She points at the tattoo he had gotten for Mali.

"Birdy!" she giggles. "What's that say?"

"That says Mali-Koa," he informs.

The waitress comes back.

"Here you go sir," she smiles.

She hands me the little bag of animal crackers, as well as Dani's sippy cup. Dani crawls into her seat and begins to eat her snack.

"Are we there yet?" she asks, looking up at me.

This is going to be a long flight...

Okay! Hope you enjoyed. And here's a quick little funny story.

So I was making subs for my school band in the high school cafeteria.

I was talking with one of the seniors. I told her how I was going to my first concert in July. She asked who and I told her 5sos.

She's like, "oh! The wannabe One Direction!"

That was a mistake to say. I went off on her. I swear I teared up a little in the process 😂. Long story short, I practically yelled at a senior and then became friends with her.
