I hear footsteps coming towards me. I look up to see Ash, with a frown on his face. He sits next to me, but no words are said.

"Where's Dani?" I ask.

My voice cracked horribly. You could barely hear or understand me.

"She's back in the room. She's sitting at the table, eating her happy meal," he informs. "So what's going on with you and Calum?"

I sigh out of frustration.

"I don't know. He just randomly started being a dick to me. He's been saying I don't want to be in the band, and stuff."

"Do you?"

"Do I what?"

"Do you want to be in the band still?"

I look at him. I then sigh and look at my hands.

"I don't know anymore. I really want to be in the band, but part of me really wants to stay home with Dani. She does ballet now. She's in school. Before I know it, she'll graduate and head off to college. I'm scared I'll miss that. I've missed so much already," I sigh sadly.

"I know what you mean. I'm that exact same way with Harry and Lauren," he sighs. "Can I ask you a question?"

I look up at him. He has a serious face on with a hint of worry in his eyes. I just nod. He takes a deep breath.

"So, you know how I've been with Payton for a really long time?" he asks hesitantly. I nod again. "Well, I've been thinking of, you know, um, proposing."

I smile and look at him. "That's great, mate."

He chuckles and looks down. "I don't know what to tell management. Do you think they'd be okay with it?"

I shrug. "I had a kid, not a girlfriend."

"Oh yeah. And I kind of, you know, got her pregnant..." he adds.

My jaw drops slightly, but breaks into a smile. "That's awesome, mate! I won't be the only one with a kid!" I cheer.

"Woah, mate, slow down. Management won't be happy. They almost killed you when you found out you had a baby. Imagine what they'd do to me!"

"Mate, she's your girlfriend. They won't mind. I had a one night stand, and didn't know I got her pregnant until Dani was a baby. Of course they killed me!"

We both laugh a little. Suddenly, there's crying and some people yelling 'Dani'.

I look over to see Dani running towards me. Behind her was the Luke and Calum.

"Daddy!" Dani sobs, hugging me tightly.

I hug her back. "What's wrong princess?"

"I'm sorry! Don't leave!" she sobs.

"Baby, I'm not leaving," I tell her.

She just cries, and continues to hug me.

"Hey, calm down. You'll be okay," I coo.

She soon starts to calm down. I rub her back to comfort her. Calum and Luke awkwardly stand there. I notice Ashton giving Luke a look. They both nod. Ash stands up and leaves along with Luke. Calum tries to follow, but they stop him from going along.

I hear fast footsteps coming towards me. I see Ash running back. He kneels in front of me.

"Dani, let's go finish your lunch," he says to Dani.

Dani turns around and holds her arms out. He picks her up and walks away again. Calum awkwardly sits down and puts his head in his knees. He murmurs something to me, but I couldn't quite understand.

"What?" I ask.

He looks up at me with sad eyes.

"I'm sorry," he says louder.

I just nod and look at my hands.

"I-I was just mad at you," he informs.

"Why?" I ask looking up.

"I-I honestly don't know. I guess I wasn't really mad at you. I was just mad. It's hard to explain. Ashleena, she broke up with me. I was stressed, and I don't know. I guess I was jealous," he sighs.

"Jealous? Of what?" I asked shocked.

"You get things so easy. You basically have your whole life ready. You have a daughter. You have a best friend that lives with you and can help you. You have everything. I have nothing," he sighs. "I can't even keep a girlfriend."

"Really mate? Really? Calum, there are so many people out there who would love to date you! You just, have to find the right one, I guess. My life's not that easy either though. I have a daughter that I have to start leaving at home, while I'm on the other side of the world. I'm always so scared she's going to become depressed or forget about me. Then I also have to worry about Fae going into labor when I'm away. She's like my sister, I want to be there for her. I'm scared I'm going to miss everything. I'm scared that everything will go by so fast and I won't be able to keep up. I'm scared Dani'll grow up too fast and I'll miss her graduation or something," I say, ranting.

"Mate, Dani won't grow up too fast. She's a little girl still and she'll stay like that for quite a while. And for Fae and the baby, they'll still be here when you get back. And so will Dani. Everything will be okay?"

"Dani's already five though! It feels like just yesterday she was just starting to crawl," I sigh.

"I know. It goes by faster than it is, but one day, it'll all be worth it," he smiles.

I nod and smile.

"Thanks mate," I say. 

He just nods and rands up. He reaches his hand out, so I grab it as he helps me up. We begin to walk down the hall.

Time to finish this meeting.

I walk in the room. I sit down before Dani crawls on my lap happily. Everybody else settles into place.

"Okay, Michael, we have a possible solution on what to do with Dani," John informs with a smile.

"All ears," I inform.

"We were thinking, what if Dani continued to go on tour with you-" he suggests.

"She has school," I interrupt.

Dani looks at us knowing she's in with the conversation.

"You didn't let me finish," he informs calmly. "I had talked to Liz. What if she homeschooled Dani? Liz'll either go on tour with you boys, or teach Dani over Skype. Preferably she goes on tour, because if there are any Internet problems, Dani won't be able to learn."

I smile widely.

"Then Dani and Liz are going on tour!" I cheer, pumping my fist in the air.

The guys pump their fists with a chorus of "yeah"s following.

"Payton's pregnant," Ashton blurts suddenly.

Everybody looks over wide-eyed. Well, except for me. I just laugh.

Great ending!
