Dani was discharged a week ago. She was finally the giddy, little Dani I know again. In her first couple days back, I had to remind her she had just gotten surgery. Her being calm usually lasted an hour before she started up again.

Mum and dad were over a lot, as well as the guys. The guys' parents and siblings came over, too. Everyday for the past week, she was cuddled by someone different. Even Harry cuddled with her. Dani got fidgety though, so they ended up bringing down some toys and playing with them.

It was finally the weekend though, and nobody was coming over. It was just Dani, Fae, and I. We were literally just laying around watching princess movies.

That's when there was a knock. I carefully moved, the now sleeping, Dani from my lap to next to Fae. I swiftly move to the door. I open it up to see the guys.

"John says he needs us at the studio now. We have a very important meeting," Ashton says immidietely.

I swear under my breath. "Can't this wait until Monday? I'm trying to relax for once! Do I even have free will to do stuff anymore? For god's sake, kiss my ass!" I say frustrated.

"Mike, calm down. We haven't worked in weeks," Luke says calmly.

"Yeah? Well I know how this goes,we start to record again, and I barely get to see my daughter! That's how it always fucking goes! And then I'm going to have to leave he for another fucking six to nine months!"

"Mike, you know this is important. We have to go now. You can see Dani later," Calum sighs.

"No! Once I go to this fucking meeting, they're going to make us finish our tour! That means I have to leave Dani! I can't do that to her! Not again! She needs me! I'm her dad!"

"Well you should've thought about that before you knocked that one chic up!" Calum says angrily.

"Oh, go fuck yourself Calum!"

"You go fuck yourself!" he yells back.

"Listen, mate. We know you love her. But if you refuse the meetings and recording we do, why don't you just quit?" Ashton sighs.

"That's a good question. Why don't I quit?" I spit before slamming my door shut.

I storm up to my room. I punch the wall. I yell in pain and hold my hand to my chest. I begin to cry. I slide down the wall before putting my head in my knees.

Somebody walks in. Fae.

"Go away!" I sob.

"But daddy!" I hear Dani whine.

I look up to see Dani. Not Fae.

"Come here baby," I sigh.

I put my legs down and hold my arms out to her. Once I can reach her, I drag her into my lap. She hugs me.

"Why are you sad, daddy?" she asks.

"It's nothing babes. You wouldn't understand," I sigh.

She pulls back from the hug and nods. She turns back around and sits down. She cuddles into my chest as I wrap my arms around her.

I let more tears fall. "I love you, Dani," I inform with a cracking voice.

"I love you, too daddy," she says with a yawn.

Soon her breathing is calm and even again. This girl sleeps too much. Yup. She's definitely my daughter. I sit there for a few more minutes.

I finally stand up, and lay Dani on my bed. I run my hands through my hair and sigh. I have to go to that meeting. I can't quit the band. How would I support Dani's needs?

I quickly change out of my pajamas and into black skinny jeans, and a Metallica muscle tee. I throw on a leather jacket and my combat boots. I look over to Dani.

I run to her room and grab her toy bag. I pack a couple of her dolls and her favorite stuffed animals. I even pack her little tablet filled with learning games and fun games to play. I grab her baby blanket off of her bed and throw it on my shoulder. I walk back into my room to see Dani still laying there.

Clothes. Shit. I run back into her room, and grab her fall jacket, a long sleeve shirt, and some leggings. I also grab socks and her little, pink converse. I even grab her brush for later. I run back and throw everything in her toy bag.

I lift her into my arms and cover her up with her baby blanket. I quickly shove my phone in my jean pocket. I grab her toy bag, and carefully walk downstairs.

"Fae, I'm going to a meeting. I'm taking Dani, so I'll see you later," I inform.

She looks over and nods. I grab my wallet and keys off of the counter and go to my car. I put Dani in her car seat and buckled her in after throwing in her toy bag. I cover her with her baby blanket again. She shifts slightly to get comfortable.

On my way to the studio, I stop at Maccas and grab myself a cheeseburger and Coke. I get Dani a 4 piece happy meal with her usual Sprite.

Once I actually get to the studio, I've finished my cheeseburger and Coke. I get out of the car and go to the backseat. I unbuckle Dani real quick after throwing my keys and wallet in her toy bag. It's basically my man purse in disguise.

I gently pick her up as she stirs awake. I shush her back to sleep. I cover her up once again. Dani naturally wraps her arms around my neck. I grab the toy bag as well as her happy meal in one hand. Well, except for her Sprite. God damn it! I guess I'll have to wake up.

"Dani," I whisper.

I started bouncing her a little.

"Dani," I say a little louder.

I get a hum.

"Dani, I need you to carry your pop for daddy," I inform.

She wakes up a little more. She nods as I set everything down and give her the drink. I lift everything back up and shut the car door with my foot. It automatically locked.

Time to go to a meeting.
