"Nice to meet you." Shiro said as he smiled slightly. The other paladins walked over and stood by his side. He glanced at them then started to introduce them.

"This is Keith, Lance, Hunk and Pidge." He explained as he motioned to each in turn.

The red one just glared as he kept his arms folded and looked around. The blue one smirked cockily and winked at the young girl. The yellow one just smiled nervously and rubbed the back of his head, while the green one kept staring at Keyshot.

"Shiro, can the robot ride with me? I want to ask it some questions." She said as she smiled brightly and her eyes sparkled eagerly. Treble frowned and set the war hammers head on the floor.

"Keyshot is a 'he' not an it. Besides we aren't going anywhere with you." She said seriously. "You guys came to help repair this place... right?" She asked. Keyshot glanced at her then looked to the others. They were silent and looked at their leader.

"We came because of the distress signal, and to remove you from this location. I-" He stopped as Treble swung the hammer and held it a few inches from his face.

"Galra spies." She hissed as Keyshot held the gun up to them. The paladins instantly got into a fighting position to protect their leader. Shiro hadn't flinched, and simply held his metal hand up to stop them.

"No we aren't." He said carefully as he watched them. Pidge glared at the other girl then glanced up as she heard the ship groaning. It would probably collapse soon.

"Let us take you to our... ship and get you some help. It'll take more than six people and a robot to repair this station. We'll run out of air and resources before we finish. Not to mention the Galra could come back to finish the job." The leader said seriously. Keyshot lowered the gun and looked at her.

::I calculate that he is correct.:: he said and looked at Pidge. He then followed her gaze to glance at the ceiling.

His eye whirled as he scanned the integrity. He calculated that there time was short. Treble sighed and lowered the hammer as she hung her head. She thought for a few minutes then looked at him again.

"This is my home... I've lived here for... as long as I can remember. My family raised me and... died here..." she muttered and looked at the robot.

Lance tensed a little and looked away as he thought about his own home. He understood her pain but tried to hide it. He missed his home and it worried him when he thought of his family. They probably thought he was dead.

"I... only have two requests... please..." she whispered quietly, snapping Lance out of his thoughts. Shiro nodded once to indicate he'd listen.

"First, do you promise to bring me back home?" She asked and the others looked around the station. The black paladin watched her intently then nodded slowly.

"Yes. I promise to bring you home if you so wish. We can find you some supplies and someone to help rebuild." He explained. She smiled brightly and looked at Keyshot.

"Thank you." She grinned then her expression became serious again. "Second... will you help us with another task? It's... important to me." She whispered quietly and looked at the floor. He hesitated and glanced at the team then at her.

"What is it?" He asked and she bit her lip as she looked at Keyshot.

"Follow me..." she muttered and started back the way they had come. Keyshot watched them follow then walked behind them. To make sure they didn't try anything.

Pidge kept watching him while Keith glared darkly. He didn't like being guarded and would try to be behind the robot. Keyshot never let him though.

Treble was silent as she led them through the remains of the space station. They got to a certain cabin and she typed a code before it opened. She looked at them then went inside. They again looked at Shiro as he stared after the girl. He motioned for them to stay put and slowly went inside.

He saw a pod laying down on the ground in the small room. There were small trinkets and medical items around the pod. He knew what this was before he got to her side. An alien lay in the pod with his eyes closed as if he was sleeping. His body was well persevered inside the coffin.

She stood there and gently set a hand on the glass above his face. Shiro stood by her side, and he stared at the alien that appeared to be kind.

"This... is Arium... he was the stations medic... and my friend... my family." She whispered quietly. "I couldn't just shoot him into space... I felt it was too cruel." She rasped and squeezed her eyes shut as she hung her head.

"I can't leave him here... and I know it seems silly or dumb to some people... but we wanted to take him home." She whispered quietly. Shiro had been staring at the aliens peaceful face for a while. He looked at her then gently gripped her shoulder.

"Treble... I promise we'll get him home. I don't know which promise I can do first... but I'll do everything I can to achieve them." He said gently. She nodded slowly and looked up at him then hugged him tightly.

"That's all I ask... is that we try..." she whispered quietly as tears fell down her face. She wanted her friend to rest in peace instead of being shot into space. He deserved the best.

Shiro thought about the promises he just made to this young girl. Bury her friend, and get her home. It seemed easy enough and he felt it was right for them to do. Besides Voltron was about helping people and defending the weak. He felt this shouldn't be too difficult for them to accomplish.
