During the next few years she did her best to do everything they asked her. She would get into trouble, simply out of curiosity. The crew ended up calling her Trouble because she kept getting into it. Ligh and Arium were the only ones that called her by her real name. She worked hard to earn her place and stay out of their way. Though that hardly ever worked. Autho got irritated with her at one time and smacked her. Without thinking Ligh punched him hard in the face. He told the captain if he wanted to punish her, he would take it. The captain agreed and beat him in front of the girl. They made her watch and she swore she would never get in trouble again.

Autho glared at the dead planet they were on. They wandered around as they collected goods. He furrowed his brow at the bones of the people and wondered what they did. He shook his head reminding himself it didn't matter. They soon realized this place wasn't all dead. A section of it still thrived with life.

Autho narrowed his eyes and walked to the city. He looked around a bit and had a few of his men follow. They walked through the city and spoke with a few of the people there. They told them the Galra had taken over and they'd have to go through them if they wanted business. That proved to be more difficult than he thought.

The Galra demanded that they give half of what they found or earned to them. Autho refused and spat in the others face. He then stormed off to his ship. A bunch of Galra soldiers attacked them however, and they lost a few men along with their goods.

That was only the beginning.

During the next few months, the Galra would attack them any time they were looting a planet. The pirates fought back but didn't have all the resources they needed. Autho finally told them to draw back and they resorted to smaller tasks. They stayed under the radar as the captain came up with an alternate plan. He needed a way to protect his crew and also be able to get the loot.

Treble wandered around aimlessly as she looked for some of her friends. She fixed her hat she was given and her little tool belt. She discovered that she liked to repair things. Thankfully the engineers were patient with her and willing to teach her.

She wandered down to their station and looked for them. She had heard they were working on a special project. Out of curiosity she went to investigate. A handful of the engineers were in different teams as they worked on building something. She walked over and peeked at the blueprints.

"Get out of here Trouble." One said and shoved her away. She glared and folded her arms.

"I'll be good. I promise not to touch and I want to help." She pouted.

"Ya right." He scoffed and waved his hand to shoo her away. "If you want to see what we're doing, go talk to someone how cares." He muttered. She huffed angrily and stomped her foot before going off to another team.

Each time she got close and glimpsed the schematics,  they pushed her away. She frowned in confusion by their behavior. They never treated her like this unless it was extremely important. She bit her lip then ran off to find Ligh. He was alone with Arium as they worked on their own schematics. She frowned again and peeked at the design.

"Ligh.... why are you building... um... what is it?" She asked quietly. Arium raised an eyebrow and walked over.

"The captain has asked that the engineers each build a robot that can help defend us from the Galra." He muttered. "He will then pick the best prototype and we'll build more." He said seriously. She frowned slightly and looked at the medic.

"Why are you here? Why are you by yourselves?" She asked.

"I am helping him with the proper design and function. He only builds." Arium rumbled as he smiled slightly. Ligh gave him a look then looked over the schematics again. She looked over at the others and saw they were starting to build with different materials they had gathered. Autho had let them go out and find different things to use.

"What will you two build with?" She asked quietly as she looked around for their materials. Ligh looked around then put a finger to his lips and winked.

"That's a secret." He whispered quietly and rubbed her head.

"Can I help?" She asked as she smiled brightly. He thought for a few minutes then looked at the medic.

"Here and there... yes." He rumbled then made a few modifications on the plans.

"Arium..." Ligh whined. "I just figured out how to start building that." He muttered and looked at him.

"Learn to improvise and adjust to new situations." He rumbled slowly and walked away for a moment.

"Fine..." he mumbled and his ear twitched in annoyance. She smiled brightly and watched them for a moment. She then wandered to each team and tried to help the best she could.

Autho kept the station in a place the Galra couldn't find, giving them more time to work. They would just take small ships out to do looting and trading. They hated waiting but knew it would take time to work and build. Autho walked by each station and looked at the handiwork of the engineers. He was impressed with what they were able to make. He set a deadline and wanted them tested.

Treble wandered back to Ligh and Arium as they worked. She sat on the desk and watched as her friend worked on the head. The medic was reading the plans and trying to make sure it functioned. She stared at the smooth head with no face. She frowned and scrunched up her nose as she watched.

"It's scary...." she muttered and looked at his notes.

"Hmm..." he mumbled and continued to work on it for a moment.

"What prototype number is this?" She asked as she moved some paperwork around. She knew the engineers had made a few, only to have them blow up.

"Um... I uh.... Arium?" He asked and looked over at the medic.

"Number 6." He grumbled without looking up and continued working.

"But this is going to be different. I've decided to use.... a completely different set of materials." He mumbled and she looked at him.

"How do you mean?" She asked and looked at the others.

"Originally we were using whatever the ship held, and what the others didn't want." He paused and looked at her for a few minutes. "Then I had an idea. Why not use a material I know?" He asked. She thought for a few minutes then her eyes widened in surprise.

"Galra technology?" She asked quietly so no one else could hear. He nodded slowly and put a finger to his lips.

"Our technology is impressive, but so is Altean." He said quietly. She furrowed her brow in confusion.

"You... put both together?" She asked and frowned. Arium chuckled which sounded more like rumbling thunder.

"Indeed young one. Many... many years ago they worked together. I made the suggestion... because I know how amazing the outcome is." He said seriously. She nodded slowly in understanding and looked at the head.

"How... how did you get... the technology?" She asked hesitantly. Ligh smiled slightly as the medic chuckled.

"It wasn't easy." The young Galra muttered and winked. "But if Arium says it's worth it.... I'm willing to try." He said as he smiled slightly. She looked between the two and smiled a little.

An hour later she watched as he finished the head. They just had to test the brain and make sure it functioned properly. He worked on it for a few minutes and stuck his tongue out. She giggled then jumped as a blue light flickered on the robots face. Her eyes widened in surprise as she watched and listened to it power up.

"Hello there." Ligh said as he smiled slightly. The blue light moved and scanned the area as the head twitched. The robots head whirled as it tested the eye and other functions.

::Number... 6.29... number.... 6.29.... number 6.29.:: it said over and over.

"Hmm... let's try and fix that." He muttered as he worked on the head again.

"Why's it saying that?" She asked as she cocked her head.

"We took a broken Galra centurion robot and took certain parts from it. Perhaps that's what it's.... name was." Arium said as he worked on the body. "But we have obviously been modifying the design." He muttered.

She nodded absentmindedly and watched the robot as Ligh did a few things. It stopped talking and she frowned a little. The young Galra continued working then smiled a little and cleared his throat.

"Let's try this again." He said and sat back for a moment. "Hello there. I'm Ligh and this is Treble." He said as he smiled slightly. The blue eye looked at him then her for a moment.

::I have... the key-key-key.... the key-key-key.... I was shot-shot-shot.... shot-shot-shot.:: it said in a glitched tone. Treble giggled quietly as Ligh frowned and turned his speech off to fix it.

"It's nice to meet you Keyshot." She said and shook his detached hand. The eye looked at her and stared for a few minutes.

"Thats not his name." Arium rumbled and looked at her.

"It is now."  She said as she smiled brightly and looked at it. He didn't seem so scary anymore.
