Roman took a deep breath and snatched the white sheet away from his brother before covering the painting again, "It's not finished." He told himself that constantly so he could never truly be finished, never truly accept his pain and misery. "Who is it??" Patton asked him again, in confusion and curiosity, "I know everyone you paint." Remus walked over to his brother and gently placed a hand upon his shoulder, whispering softly, "It's time to tell someone, get it off of your chest." Roman went to speak but only closed his mouth as the words died in his throat, fighting back an anger sob that racked his body violently. He nodded and gestured everyone over to the more lounge looking area, people taking seats and turn to Roman who took a few minutes to compose himself, hands fiddled with the necklace that clung to his neck and he let out a breath, "I guess it's about time I told you the truth Pat." "The truth about what?" The blonde tilted his head, confusion written all over his face. "A while back you asked me why I started painting and I gave you a small, simple answer; that I just enjoyed painting in general, which, technically isn't a lie but I need to tell you the truth and get it off my chest, but it's a long story and involves someone you never got to meet." Everyone got comfortable sensing that Roman was going to be talking about something super important. He took another breath, glancing down at his hands before he started his story.
"His name was Virgil Anx, one of the most laid back but uptight guys I have ever met..."

Virgil looked up from his slouched position against the counter when the little silver bell above the door rang announcing that a customer had walked into the little cafe, Lucky Spot. He sighed softly before moving at a snail's pace to the register, "Welcome to Lucky Spot, how can I serve you today?" The man on the other side of the counter was dressed in a white hoodie with a red sash across the front with a little golden crown in the left corner of the man's shoulder. He had brunette hair that was washed and styled beautifully, mocha chocolate eyes excitedly as the man spoke, "I would enjoy a hot chocolate with extra whip cream and a drizzle of carmel." Virgil rose an eyebrow at the odd order before he pulled out a cup, "Name for the order?" "Roman." The man replied with a smile that could dazzle anyone before he paid and moved to sit and wait for his drink. Virgil, being tired from his little to no sleep, felt annoyed with Roman and his weird order. He finished the drink and wrote down a name on the drink before setting it down on the counter and called out "Hot chocolate for Ramen." He smirked as Roman stood up and shook his head, "My name is Roman like kings, not Ramen like the noodles." Virgil shrugged, "My bad." His smirk still planted on his face to show that he wrote ramen on purpose. Roman wasn't going to argue as he was in quite a hurry, and left the cafe. Virgil chuckled to himself before walking around the counter and turned off the open sign, starting to clean up.
Several weeks went by and every time Roman's name was based around ramen noodles, being flat out beef once. But Roman was starting to enjoy the food based nicknames, enjoying the time he got to see Virgil seeing as Roman crushed easily and was falling hard for the emo barista. One day Roman was met with a crowd of people outside Lucky Spot, confused on why the had signs and were angrily chanting. He pushed passed them and walked inside the shop looking around until he spotted Virgil speaking with a man dressed fancier than Roman ever has. Clearly this man meant business. He walked over and cleared his throat, "Virge? What's going on?" The emo glanced at Roman before he let out a sigh, rubbing his eyes in an exhausted manner, "I'm about to lose the cafe, not enough money coming in and the locals seem to be pretty angry despite only very few of them actually come inside. I'm out of money, Roman, and I have no choice but to sell to the bank if I can't get enough money by the end of the week." Virgil gestured to the door and led out both men, "I'll do what I can to help!" Roman exclaimed. Virgil gave him a small smile, "If you had enough money I'd ask you to buy my cafe." He was pulled away from Roman to shoo away the anger crowd and settle things with the bank. Roman frowned, he didn't want his favorite cafe to be bought and sold to be turned into who knows what! He was then sparked with an idea and hurried off to check something. It took several more weeks to get everything worked out and he finally stepped back into the little cafe, where people sat inside trying to get the bank man to leave the cafe and stop threatening a small business owner. Roman just smiled and wandered up to the counter, "I'd like a hot chocolate with extra whip cream and a drizzle of carmel." Virgil, who was standing behind the counter tilted his head with confusion before shaking it, "I can't Roman." "For old times sake." Roman begged him and Virgil let out a groan before grabbing a cup and making his way over to the machine when the bank man started to speak, "You can't do that. You don't own or work here any more." Roman laughed like the business man just said something super funny and wiped a fake tear from his eye, "Actually Virgil does work here." Everyone quieted down to listen to the fancy men speak. "He doesn't-" Roman pulled out some paperwork and tossed it over to the bank man, "He does, and I'd like you to get off of my property so my employee here can serve my customers." Virgil dropped the hot drink, "Roman you didn't-!" Roman smiled, "I did indeed. I own Lucky Spot, I didn't want to lose my favorite spot to hang out nor did I want you to lose your job." The crowd cheered as more people walked in, "But you can't run this place by yourself so I am raising you to manger Virgil." The emo was at a loss for words and he just stood watching as the new group of people behind to work behind the counter, making drinks faster than he ever could. "I also thought we could add some little snacks and desserts to go with the wonderful drinks." Roman grinned as Virgil walked over to Roman, "How can I repay you?" He didn't have any money and the cafe was all he ever had and now Roman owned it. "Well why don't you make me that hot chocolate and I'll think about it."
