Like A Normal Princess
The next day came and the group had gathered in the lounge, where the men from yesterday, or Katsumi's friends were also gathered. Katsumi was ahead of the group, already chatting with the mysterious men from yesterday over a cup of tea.
"Morning, Katsumi!" Kanji pops out, slinging an arm over the high school student's shoulder, which she shrugs off coolly with a glare to the boy, warning him. She continues talking with the men about business, mostly to Eisuke.
The rest of Group A gathered in the lounge but as they tried to catch up with the conversation, it only got more complicated and the only one who seemed to understand some of it was Homare. Katsumi however seemed to be negotiating with the CEO, who was smirking as they soon shook hands, signaling a probably successful deal.
After the long conversation between the group of men, Katsumi finally turned to the group. "I apologize for the wait, but it seems as if I have some business to attend tonight so Mr. Shindo, I'll be late for light's out tonight."
The teacher chatted with her privately before agreeing with a hesitant expression. But as the teacher and student conversed, the men known as Baba and Ota insisted to bring the students to a festival nearby, to which they agreed to.
"Katsumi! Baba and Ota invited us to a festival nearby, let's go! Are you coming?!" Naka asks excitedly as the council president walked back to the group. She seemed to ponder over it for a moment before smirking.
"You do realize they are of high status and this festival will be no ordinary, right? You have to wear expensive kimonos and yukatas for this one." she chuckles, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "R-Really? Well looks like we can't go..." Chii and Naka seemed deflated, including the other boys.
"But did I say I wouldn't treat you?" Katsumi comments from the side and the students perk up with excitement, except Chii, Yasuto and Nagisa, who seemed hesitant to appear rude. "But you said it was expensive..." they mutter.
"And yet you didn't complain when I made you stay in this hotel for two weeks," she flashed the three a cheeky grin, and they finally agreed with thanks.

The boys were beginning to regret their choice.
Naka, Chii and Kat already had all their kimonos, and the boys were still being criticized, all forced to try on one yukata after the other by the girls. Mostly Chii and Naka, with Kat only lightly snickering from the side. She seemed to be enjoying this.
The bidders were all in yukatas and Chii had to constantly remind Naka not to ogle over the men, including Shindo.
"This is getting annoying..." Taketo mutters, getting annoyed. Out of all the 5, only Nagisa has passed, wearing a blue yukata. "Hey, Chii! I found a great one for Yasuto!!!" Naka's cheery voice came from a nearby rack.
She tugs over a blushing Yasuto wearing a dark blue yukata made of expensive fabric, its intricate design standing out using white thread fabric.
"Hm, fine feathers make a fine bird as they say." Kat giggles from the side. "Kat, don't be rude."
"Whatever. But anyway, if you don't stop torturing the boys, we'll never make it to the festival in time for it's surprise..." Katsumi taunts and the two freeze, rushing the boys into the changing rooms. They soon come out, Taketo in a dark green yukata, Kanji in orange along with Homare in a black one.
"We're ready! Let's go." Chii and Naka announce cheerfully and drags all the boys and Kat away, following the bidders. They soon arrive at the festival as the sun was setting, bathing the group in it's soft glowing colors.
Grown women were all staring at the bidders in yukatas, some teens staring at the boys in the group, glaring with envy at the three girls, who were all oblivious to the attention apart from Kat.
Naka was wearing a purple yukata, Chii in white with Kat in a soft pastel pink with intricate decorating of flowers on her kimonos. "Kat, let's go and get something to eat! You like sweets, right?" Naka bounces on her feet, waiting for the council president's approval.
"We're not allowing you to read either, Koro." Ota calls from the side. Kat never understood the nick name she received from the artist but ignored it nonetheless. "Fine. I'll go get some caramel apples. What about you, boys?"
"I just need to get out of this crowd... It stinks of perfume." Soryu complains, gesturing to most of the women around them, who were wearing strong, expensive perfume, caked with makeup. "What about we get you something to eat, Sor? Omelettes?" Kat offers and the mobster instantly perks up at the mention of his favorite dish.
"They have it here...?" "Last time I visited, yeah."
"Wait.... You never told us about this festival. What's the theme?" Taketo asks, looking around at all the men, women, teens and children walking around. "Didn't you know? It's Tanabata festival..." Kat replies, wide eyed.
"Wow... It's so fancy I didn't notice." Yasuto looked around, observing the trees around them which he noticed people were crowded around. A few trees had slips of papers on them, wishes written on each one. "I'll be writing mine soon, later on. I just want to-"
"Katsumi?! Katsumi!" a boy's voice called from behind her and she turned around, surprised. "Oh my gosh, Nagito?!" (A/N: Scandal in the Spotlight... Yeah!)
"I knew it was you! What are you doing here, you rarely come with people, usually by yourself?!" a blonde man in a blue yukata smiles in greeting to the group, who were watching him curiously.
"I'm on a school trip, Tres Spades' boys here asked me to join them. But anyway, where are Kyohei and the others?! I want to see my older brother!"
"What?! But Kat... I thought we were your brothers...." Ota exclaimed from the side, pouting. "Wait, brother?!"
"Not biological. Just think of him as so." "Wait who? I thought it was me, Kat!" the man known as Nagito pouts, trying to hug the girl. "Yeah you are, but Takashi and Kota are my favorites!"
"Aww... And I thought-" "Nagito! I thought I told you not to run off." Kyohei's voice booms in Kat's ear. "Kyo! Look who I found with her friends here!"
"If it's just another one of your- Oh, Kat! What are you doing here." the bidders and students from the side were watching with interest on the impact Kat had on this group. Once he saw her, the man named Kyohei instantly brightened.
"Friends. Dragged. School trip."
"Alright, let me get the others. Iori, Kota, Takashi! Get over here!" three more handsome men came out, wearing Yukata's as they appeared to be glaring at Kyohei. "What did you need? I was reading."
"Didn't want to see Kat? She's here." the three men looked over the brunette's shoulder, surprised at the appearance of their 'sister'. "Hey guys! Tak, Kota!" Kat rushes to two of the men, tackling them with hugs. Her group was surprised since she never seemed so excited to see boys.
"Hey, Kitty." the man named Iori smirked and Kat punched him playfully. "I told you not to call me that. I forbid everyone except Kota and Tak!" she grinned, slinging her arms around the two boys. "Hey, Katherine... We're right here. Care to introduce us?" Naka ogled the men, smiling excitedly.
"I can't believe you guys don't recognize them. Naka, you listen to their songs every time! Revance? Remember?" "Seriously?! I didn't think it was them! How come you're the one who always gets to meet them first, Kat?!" the girl gasps, fan-girling as she bounced on her feet.
"Not my fault. I do music with them every time."
"And yet you refuse to join us... You're really good." "Last time I checked, Nagi. I'm a girl, and you're a boy band."
"Fine." "Alright though, as much as this was fun, we'll see you later, Katherine," Kyohei bids them farewell, Kat gathering the band into a hug before waving them off. "We'll see you at the studio soon!"
"Sorry about that.... But anyway, shall we?"

The rest of the night was fun-filled, with the groups chatting away and somehow, Kanji had managed to drag away Naka, the same going for Chii and Yasuto.
Kat needed a break and she was near the exit of the party, sitting atop a hill near the festival, underneath a cherry blossom tree. Her knees were pulled up to her chest as she looked up to the moon, the cherry blossoms blowing around in the gentle breeze.
"Hey," a deep voice calls from her and Kat grins at the appearance of her group mate. "Have a seat, Homare. What'd you need?" she asked, glancing at him for a brief moment, brushing hair out of her face.
"The rest were putting up their wishes on the trees, figured you'd want to start." the student held two fountain pens, along with two pieces of paper, one soft pink and blue. The piece of paper in Kat's hand matched the shade of her kimono.
"Thanks." she mutters, taking a pen from the boy, beginning to write on the piece of paper. The two quickly scribble down their wishes in quick movements, but despite the rough surface they wrote on, on the ground, both still had beautiful pen man ship in the end.
"Let's go hang it up back down there." Homare stood and began walking, but Kat only stood by the blossom tree. "Something the matter?"
"I'll just hang mine up here. Can you help me?" the student noticed Kat was a bit short, couldn't reach the branches. "Here." he tried to take the paper but she hugged it close to her chest. "Can you just lift me?"
The boy rolls his eyes but nonetheless does what she requested, and she was incredibly light, unexpected.
"Thanks. Let's go."
"You go first. I'll hang mine up."
The council president walked back down to the festival which was clearing up, the guests leaving. Although the ticket faced away from him, as Homare placed his beside Kat's the wind swayed hers, facing him.
On it, written in beautiful cursive was:
"I wish for the best of everyone. No matter what."
As Homare walked back to the festival, to his friends, he smiled to himself.
She wasn't an ordinary princess.
