He inherited his parents' Familiars, a cat and a dragon, after they told him to run and leave his home. He turned back to the house when he heard his mother scream, and-while hiding and peaking through a window- saw her demise and ran out of fear, his parents Familiars in hot pursuit. He has been running and surviving with them ever since that day.

Why is he an outcast?: Due to his different colored eyes and his connection to dieties, he is considered an outcast and is also labeled as cursed; and the Council want him so they can communicate with the gods.
