"Thanks for going out with me boss" I said with a small smile as we entered the house. "Just call me Mikey out of work" he said as he went to the living room.

"Did you forget what I said the time I hired you? I said just call me Mikey" he added making me think about that time.

"Oh yeah, but I'm kinda used to calling you boss" I said making him shake his head.

"Ugh, fine then Mikey it is" I sighed and say down on the couch next to bud. "Hey buddy how are you?" I asked the cat as I lift it up and put it in my lap.

It just let out a small meow as it curled in my lap and I began petting it. "Y/n, I'm hungry" Mikey said making me turn to look at him.

"But didn't you said you weren't hungry when I asked you at the car?" I asked a bit confused. "Well I'm hungry now" Mikey said making me sigh.

"Fine, I'll cook you something" I said as I pick up bud again and set him down on the couch.

"I can't get some alone time with the little cat" I grumbled as I went to the kitchen.

"Get off you little cat" Mikey said as he pick up bud and set it now on the floor. The cat just look at him before trotting down to the kitchen.

'Meow' bud rubbed himself against my legs making me look down at him with a smile. "You hungry bud? Just a minute I'll finish preparing some food for Mikey first" I said to the cat and quickly worked on Mikey's food.

[ few minutes later.. ]

"Mikey! Foods ready" I said as I set down a plate on the table. Soon enough Mikey came inside the kitchen and sit down.

"Well you should eat first, I'm just gonna prepare some food for your cat" I said and look at the cat who was patiently waiting next to his food bowl.

"Fine" I heard Mikey grumbled as I went to get some food for the cat. "Here you go bud, enjoy your food" I said with a smile as I patted the cat's head after I set down his food.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" Mikey asked making me slightly laugh. "Okay okay, just let me wash my hand gee" I said as I went to wash my hands.

Once I was done washing my hands I took a seat besides Mikey and began to eat.

And once we were done I cleaned out the table and put the dishes in the sink. "You better have some rest first Mikey, call me when you need anything" I said and began doing the dishes.

Mikey just hum in response as he left the kitchen, leaving me alone to do the dishes. Well I wasn't really alone since bud was still in the kitchen.

"Now what should I do after this?" I asked aloud and began to rinsen the dishes. "Meh, maybe reading some books would be nice" I mumbled and began arranging the dishes to the cupboard.

"Yeah, I'mma go and read some books" I smiled and left the kitchen once I was done.
