I woke up in a panic, I had a nightmare about spending life in prison with a cellmate named Big Panda. Oh god I'm so glad I didn't go to prison! I got up and started cooking some food for Midnight before I left for the exams.

I've been staying with midnight for about three months now, she's like a mother to me! She makes sure I'm not sick, makes sure I eat right, other motherly things. It feels nice... anyway! I'm getting off track, to the exams!

I walked my way to the exam hall praying not to see Bakugo, but he was there, along with Izuku. I just walked passed them trying to be able to pass the test. I got in and the places was packed! I quickly took my seat and relaxed for a bit.

"Please quit sleeping, it's very disrespectful!" Some kid with blue hair said. "So is waking someone, so bugger off!" I quickly retorted trying to fall back asleep. All I heard was Present Mic call out to us and I immediately woke up. "Welcome U.A. applicants! Today will be the toughest one in your life!" He said as half of the students tuned out.

"There will be three different types of robots for you to fight, the bigger they are the more their worth!" He said but was quickly questioned. "There appears to be a mistake! The pamphlet clearly shows four robots, is this a mistake on U.A.'s part!?" The kid from before asked. I quickly corrected the kid. "No, it's no mistake think of it as a challenge, simple..." I told him in a tired tone as I focused on the test.

We were all dismissed to go to different fake cities I got no one I knew, thank god. A few people wished me good luck and I did the same to them. Others said that I didn't belong here. I brushed them off as I continued to stretch. "Hey, you look like someone I know.." A female voice said from behind me. I quickly spun around. "Sorry, I don't look like anyone.." I spoke to the girl as I did arm stretches. "Oh... S-sorry.." she said walking off. I felt a bit bad but went back to warming up. Eventually a bell went off and I charged into the city, there were several robots.

I quickly used my quirk to summon two daggers in my hands as I go on a killing spree. I had about ten points before one of my daggers broke. I jumped away from the robots I was fighting and summoned a GunBlade. "Say Goodnight!" I yelled as I blasted the robots to ash and melted metal. A few other testers looked at me in awe as I continued to slash and blast robots.

Soon enough one of the huge robots came busting though the city. "Fucking fantastic" I mumbled as I started to run away from the robot. "Help! Somebody!" I faintly heard a girl cry out and I quickly made a U-turn and start running toward the robot. "Lightning blade strike!" I yelled as I jumped from building wall to building wall trying to get close enough to the robot. The other students just looked at me as I continued to get closer, when I got close enough the robot swung a fist at me, allowing me to land on it and run up it. When I got to the head of the robot, it simply fell over and I was back on the ground helping the girl stand and get her back to the nurses office. "Wow! You're so amazing!" A random student told me but I wasn't focused on that, I was making sure the girl didn't fall and hurt herself so I just carried her to the office.

After I made sure she was okay I went back to Midnight's to tell her that I think I made it in. We went out to eat at my favorite place to get fast food. We enjoyed ourselves and had a good night, I also had to make sure midnight didn't drink any beer until we got back to the house. "Ya know.. you're the closest thing I've had to a son in a long time..." she said trying not to fall over after having three cans of beer. "And you're the closest thing I've had to a mother in a long time.." I say taking her to her room making sure she makes it to bed and not the floor.

Time skip

It was now the day I'be been waiting for, mail day. It was also the day for me to know if I got into U.A.'s hero course and If I didn't I'd be in general studies. Midnight came running into the room with a letter in her hand. "Y/N!" She called out as she tossed me the letter and opened it quickly. I pressed a button on the small metal disc that fell out. "Hello Young L/N! I'm glad you picked the hero course! The world could use hero's like you, and that's why you've been accepted into class 1-A! Welcome to U.A.!" and with that the hologram ends and I'm smiling as midnight tackles me.

"You did it!" She said as we hugged before we left to go shopping for school stuff. I hated shopping so I brought some money to give midnight a present for taking care of me. I looked around as she got everything that I needed. I eventually found a perfect necklace that had a full moon and a heart on it. I quickly took it to the counter and bought it. "So who is the lucky girl?" The man asked. "It's for my mother.." I quickly replied and went to look for midnight.

I eventually found her, and we went back home. I got ready for school the next day along with sending in my hero costume under a express delivery. "Tomorrow is finally the day..." I say getting ready to head to bed as I set my uniform out and plug my phone in. "Tomorrow.... hidden death dies.... and Y/N L/N is born.." I say to myself as I climb into bed and fall asleep.
