Tyler was woken up by a pair of wet lips against his forehead. His heavy eyes fluttered open to find Josh standing over him. Tyler smiled.

"I missed you."

"Work sucked," Josh complained.

"Need a hug?"

"Cuddles."

Tyler scooted over to make more room for Josh. The older kicked his shoes off and slid in between Tyler's arms. When Josh had a bad day at work, he'd sometimes want to be held like a little baby. Other times, he'd want to yell and break things and make Tyler cry. Tyler decided today was an up and down day; Josh's mood kept changing.

"I missed you," Tyler repeated, nuzzling his face into Josh's faded pink curls.

"I missed you too. I wish you could come with me to work so you could see the idiots I have to deal with."

"Me too. Can I get a job?"

"No."

"Why?" Tyler already knew why, but maybe he could convince Josh.

"You don't need a job. I can support us on my own."

"You just don't want me to leave without you."

Tyler was right.

"Shut up, Tyler."

"It's true."

"Don't make me mad."

"Sorry."

Tyler wasn't actually sorry, he was pretty mad himself. He wanted his own money. He didn't want Josh to worry about him cheating on him. Tyler wouldn't do that. He loved Josh too much.

"Do you want me to make dinner?"

"Can I do it?" Tyler asked.

"I don't know, are you going to drop everything again?"

"Never mind."

"I was just kid-"

"It wasn't funny," Tyler interrupted.

"Okay, whatever. I'll make myself dinner."

Josh pulled himself out of Tyler's arms, leaving the boy alone and upset. Tyler watched Josh walk out or the room before he let himself pout. Was Josh seriously only going to make dinner for himself?

Tyler got up and trotted out to the kitchen. Josh was on the phone, speaking kind of quietly.

"No, no pepperoni. Yeah, just cheese. And can I get a two liter of Dr. Pepper too? Awesome, thanks."

"You ordered pizza?"

Josh whipped around and glared at Tyler, his phone clutched tightly in his hand. "You were listening to me?"

"I was gonna help you with dinner."

"Well, way to ruin the fucking surprise."

"Sorry," Tyler frowned. He didn't mean to ruin anything.

"Whatever, Tyler. It's fine I guess."

"Are you mad at me?"

"Just leave me alone for a second!" Josh snapped, making his boyfriend flinch.

Tyler nodded and shuffled away, hanging his head in shame. He sat on the end of the sofa, slouching against the arm. His knees pulled into his chest as he started at the black TV screen before him. How come it seemed like no matter how hard he tried not to piss Josh off, it just didn't work?

Tyler had no idea what Josh was doing. He didn't hear him until twenty minutes later when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it," Josh said, running downstairs.

He opened the front door and took their dinner from the pizza delivery man. He handed him money and thanked him before joining Tyler in the living room.

"Want to eat out here?"

"I don't care."

Tyler wasn't even hungry. He was still sad he made Josh upset.

"Want to watch a movie?"

"Can we watch what I want?"

"Depends, what do you want?" Josh asked as he cleared off the coffee table for them to eat off of.

"The Fault in our Stars."

"You always cry when we watch that," Josh pointed out, grabbing himself a slice of pizza.

"That's because its sad."

"I don't like sad movies," Josh shook his head.

"Please?"

"Fine," the older muttered. "Go put it in."

Tyler did, then took a seat next to Josh. He purposely sat so their thighs were touching, hoping it would ease the tension between them. Tyler saw Josh smile out of the corner of his eye, and it made his heart flutter.

"I love you, Joshy."

"I love you too, Tiger," Josh responded, wrapping a free arm around Tyler's waist.

"I'm sorry I make you mad sometimes."

"It's okay, baby."

Tyler grinned like an idiot.

"I like that."

"I know you do, baby."

Josh smiled at Tyler. Tyler smiled back. This was nice. This was real love. This was how they were supposed to be all the time. Tyler couldn't stop himself from thinking that Josh had been being too nice lately, something was bound to go bad sooner or later. He was sure they'd get in a big fight soon, probably tomorrow. But for now, he'd enjoy the peace.

Together, they ended up eating the entire pizza. Tyler had fallen asleep before the part where he always cried, much to Josh's pleasure. Josh turned the movie off, not wanting to watch it anymore. He sat in the silence, holding Tyler in his arms. Tyler was snoring, and usually it would annoy Josh, but this time he found it cute.

He brushed a strand of hair out of Tyler's closed eyes, secretly wishing he was this quiet all of the time. He talked too much for Josh's liking sometimes. Josh was alright until he started to grow uncomfortable, and it was getting late. He really just wanted to go to bed, but knew Tyler would be grumpy if he was woken up. Josh sighed, thinking he had no other choice.

"Tyler, wake up."

Tyler stirred for a second before his eyes opened, settling on Josh. "What?"

"It's time for bed."

"I was already sleeping," he muttered, closing his eyes again.

"Want me to carry you?"

His eyes shot open in excitement. Tyler quickly nodded his head and held his arms out. Josh picked him up like you would a toddler, hoisting Tyler onto his hip. He stumbled into their bedroom, gently laying Tyler down in his spot.

"Joshyyy," Tyler whined. "Can you get my pjs?"

Josh sighed. He was getting annoyed. "Yeah, Ty. What do you want?"

"The silky one."

Josh pulled a large shirt out of their dresser. It used to be his, and it was made out of some silky material. Tyler took a liking to it so one day Josh ended up saying it could be his. He set the white shirt over Tyler's face. He giggled sleepily.

"Help me change?"

"Can't you do anything yourself?"

"Please, 'm tired..."

Josh let out another heavy sigh. He grabbed Tyler's wrists and yanked him into a sitting position, startling the younger. Josh nearly ripped Tyler's shirt off over his head. Tyler was whining.

"Stop, you're hurting me."

"Shut up, I'm barely touching you."

Josh went to help Tyler with his pants, but his hands got pushed away.

"Leave me alone, I can do it myself."

"Oh, now you can?"

"Stop Josh, I'm tired. I just want to cuddle and go to bed."

"Don't want to cuddle," Josh muttered. He stripped down to his boxers, shut the lights off, and crawled into bed. He laid as far away from Tyler as possible, his back facing the brunette.

Tyler's heart felt heavy as he slowly took his jeans off. He tried to cuddle up to Josh's back, but Josh told Tyler not to touch him. Tyler lazily scooted a couple inches away from Josh.

"G'night Joshy..."

"Go to sleep already."
