Author's Pov:

Mingyu and Minghao were now alone. Aera was in the ward along with Jiho while they are in canteen. Mingyu kept glancing at Minghao, the earlier scene still playing in his mind.

"Do you have a girlfriend?", Mingyu asked. "I had one, we broke up", Minghao replied. Again there was a silence. "What are going to do now?Your secretary is pregnant, are you still going to be with Aera?", Minghao asked.

"Why? Do you want me to divorce her so bad?", Mingyu spat. Minghao frowned, "Why did you say that? I just want you both to be happy".

Mingyu realised what he said and soon apologised, "I am sorry, it's just that my mind is not working properly". Minghao nodded. He decided not to ask about that anymore.

It's been two hours since Aera didn't move from there. Mingyu was worried about her as well as Jiho. She called Jeonghan but he said it will take time as he has gone far for a work. Minjee was there too with Yuna but left early.

Mingyu kept glancing at him. "Do you want to tell something? Or ask something?", Minghao asked. Mingyu shook his head and focused on his sandwich.

"I am going to divorce her just like she wants", Mingyu said. Minghao's phone rang, "It is Aera". He picked up the call and kept it on speaker,

'Jiho is awake, please tell this to Mingyu'

Mingyu stood up and ran to the ward. Minghao paid the bills and followed him. When they both went inside, they saw Aera standing beside while the doctor were asking some questions to Jiho.

After the doctor went, Aera smiled and kissed Jiho's palm. "Eomma, I am fine", Jiho said, "My head hurts just a little, nothing else". Mingyu looked at them and smiled, "Appa is here too Jiho-ya".

Jiho giggled, "Once I am fine, I'll fight that monster Appa, I will protect my cheeks". Aera smiled sadly. "Get well soon, Jiho", Minghao said and smiled.

Another hour just went by, Minghao left. Only Aera and Mingyu were there. The tension between them was obvious. Without speaking a word at each other.

Jeonghan came inside, Aera ran and hugged him. He patted her head, "Did something happened again?", he asked looking at Mingyu. Aera nodded. After talking to Jiho for a while, Aera and Jeonghan went out for a talk.

Aera without wasting a second, came to the point, "Mingyu's secretary is pregnant".

"What?", Jeonghan shouted earning the attention of some, quickly apologising to them, he said, "I had an idea that something like this will happened, Aera. I had told you before, didn't I?".

Aera sighed, "I want a divorce. You said you'll help me with this. So I called you". Jeonghan nodded, "Don't worry about this. I'll handle everything".

"Did you again go and meet him?", Aera asked. "Who?", Jeonghan asked back. "You know very well whom I am talking about!", Aera said.

Jeonghan nodded, "He lives alone there now. Everytime I go there, he asks me about you. He only wants to apologise". Aera nodded, "I don't understand Jeonghan. Even after he did so many things, why are you still meeting him?".

"It is the same reason as you Aera. Just like it is difficult for you forget Mingyu. It is difficult for me to forget him", Jeonghan said, "The only difference is that for you, Mingyu is the person you love romantically and he is person I love as a father".

Aera shook her head, "I don't know what to say anymore".

"Did doctor say anything about Jiho?", Jeonghan asked. Aera nodded and told him everything that happened, "I was so scared Jeonghan when I saw him closing his eyes. I am still worried about Jiho".

Jeonghan caressed her hand, "Don't worry, it will fine. Shall we go now?". Aera nodded. Entering the ward, Jeonghan glared at Mingyu. That was first thing he did. Mingyu cleared his throat, "I am sorry".

"Appa? Are we still going to keep the party? Please don't cancel it because of me", Jiho said. Aera closed her eyes knowing this would be their last time together.

Time Skip:

It is finally their anniversary, Jiho was so stubborn to celebrate it. His stubbornness made Mingyu's mother happy.

Aera didn't talk to Mingyu much these days, nor did Mingyu try to. Every now and then, Mingyu's mother kept taunting Aera about a bad wife she was, ignoring her son's mistake.

Minghao would come whenever he would get time to meet Jiho, which made Mingyu jealous. "Today evening is the party, I want everything to go properly, especially you Aera", Mingyu's mother said.

Aera didn't sleep in their own room for 2 days but instead in Jiho's room.  Just to make her problems more, his mother never kept quiet.

"Only if you were good eno-"

"Get out from my room", Aera shouted. His mother looked at her in anger, "How dare you talk to me like that?".

"I can talk to you like that, if you are going to ignore whatever your son did. Can't you be happy for even once? I am divorcing your son, you should be happy, you can get a daughter in law just like you wanted", Aera said.

"Jiho-ya, let's go and meet Mrs. Jang. She is back here", Aera said glaring at Mingyu's mother. Jiho smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I am asking Mrs. Jang to make me some cake. She makes the best cake", Jiho giggled.

Standing outside Mrs. Jang's house, Aera felt nervous. She didn't tell her anything. Mrs. Jang was out of town for few days.

"Oh dear, come in. What happened to this little one?", she asked seeing Jiho's head. "I fell down from stairs", Jiho said while giggling.

"Aigoo, see this man. How are you now?", Mrs. Jang asked. "I am fine. Will you make me cake? If you make then I'll be more fine", Jiho said. Mrs. Jang laughed and nodded, "Anything for you".

Aera sat down, "How was your trip?". Mrs. Jang sighed, "It was fun as well as tiring. After all I am an old women, what else do you expect". Aera laughed, "Mrs. Jang, as every year there is a party today too and you are coming without fail. If you don't come then I will myself come here to take you".

Mrs. Jang nodded, "Of course I'll come. I don't want to miss your beautiful look today. You and Mingyu are like made for each other". Aera's smile lessened.

Mrs. Jang was quick enough to notice this, "Did something happened?". Aera nodded. "Umm, Jiho-ya, there is bag I have kept on table. There are some snacks for you, go and eat. Go", Mrs. Jang said. After getting Aera's permission, he ran to kitchen.

"I am divorcing Mingyu", Aera said playing with her ring, "He cheated on me with his secretary who is now pregnant. I can't live with him anymore". Mrs. Jang gasped, "He really did that? That's why you suddenly left one day?". Aera nodded.

Aera told her everything from the start till the end, "I don't know how to handle Jiho now". Just then Jiho popped up with a picture in his hand, "Mrs. Jang, is this your husband?".

Mrs. Jang smiled, "Yes and you see that little boy? He is my son". Jiho looked at picture, "Where are they now?".

"I am sorry, Mrs. Jang", Aera said pulling Jiho to her, "You should be going around others stuff Jiho". Mrs. Jang laughed, "Haha, no problem Aera. His is just a small kid with curiosity".

"They are not with us anymore, Jiho-ya", Mrs. Jang said, "Now go and keep it where it was". Jiho nodded and went.

"I never told anyone about my husband, Aera. But you the first person I want to tell. People say my husband left me for another woman, he never did. I never talked about this to anyone. He was suffering from cancer and very few days left. He wanted to enjoy those remaining days with us and he did. Due to some reasons, he had to go back to his home town. After he went we received the news of his death", Mrs. Jang wiped her tears, "I went to our home town where I found his letters he had written to me. Some were ripped and some are still intact. But he never left me, Aera".

Aera hugged Mrs. Jang. Seeing her first time talking about her husband made her emotional. "He loved us a lot and it hurts seeing people talk bad about him", Mrs. Jang said.

After talking, Aera realised it is time for her to go. Going inside the house, she saw Mingyu, "Umm, I have kept the dress in your room". Aera nodded and went. Both didn't even wish each other.

Aera went to her room and saw the dress, this year too it is Mingyu's choice. He exactly knew what she likes.

"I hope he likes mine too", Aera whispered. After doing the makeup and wearing the dress, she took a look at herself, she was not excited as she used to be, "Are you ready?", she heard Mingyu's voice outside the room. Today they had to put up an act so that people don't doubt.

"Yes", Aera said closing her eyes tightly. They were supposed to go together. As she opened the door Mingyu stood there, he smiled seeing her but she kept her straight face.

"This looks perfectly good me", Mingyu said. "Everything looks good on you, no matter what you wear", Aera said under her breathe. "Did you say something?". Aera shook her head, "Let's go, your mother must be grumbling there". Mingyu nodded.

Reaching the venue, it was decorated beautifully. Aera's eyes searched for Jiho who sitting at a place just as Aera told. Jiho smiled seeing her, "Eomma!", he ran and held her hand, "You are looking beautiful".

Aera giggled, "Thank you sweetheart", she blew a flying kiss. Mingyu picked him up, "What about Appa?". Jiho acted like he his thinking and then said, "You are looking good too but not more than Eomma".

"Your Eomma looks good in everything, Jiho", Mingyu said. Jiho nodded his head, "Eomma actually looks so so so beautiful".

Aera smiled seeing Jiho and Mingyu laughing but soon her smile vanished seeing a woman dressed same as her, Mingyu noticed this and looked at the direction Aera was looking. His smile vanished too seeing her.
