Author's Pov:

"Eomma, she is here", Jiho grumbled. "Don't talk like this, she is your grandmother", Aera whispered, "Come let's go". Aera had to pulled Jiho along with her who resisted a lot.

"I don't want to meet her", Jiho said but it was too late, Jiho was already standing infront of his grandmother. "Oh My gosh, Jiho. You look so taller then last time. Look at your chubby cheeks. Aigoo, you grew up a lot", with every sentence she pinched his cheeks.

Jiho looked at Aera who gave him an apologetic face. "Eomma, stop. His cheeks will come out at this rate", Mingyu said pulling Jiho behind him. Jiho glared at her.

Mingyu went and Jiho followed him leaving Aera with his mother. "How are you, Eomma?", Aera smiled. "Fine, I would have been good if my son had married someone else".

His mother smiled, "I heard your brother has a child now, how many months? What is the name?".

"She is 10 months now", Aera replied, "Her name is Yuna". His mother nodded, "Yuna, sweet name". Aera gave a small smile.

"Are they coming to the anniversary? Of course they would. They are the only one from your family, aren't they?", she said.

Before Aera could answer, Mingyu kept his hand on her shoulder, "Of course, they will be coming. Why won't they come? Even if it is her only family, they love her a lot. Also it's far better than having such relatives who doesn't even know your whereabouts".

His mother glared at Mingyu, "Mingyu-ya, you don't need to be rude. I was just saying". Mingyu smiled at his mother, "Even I was just saying, Eomma. Why don't you get some rest?".

His mother nodded and went to her room. Aera sighed. "You should know how to talk back to her. I could hear everything from her room. Her voice is loud enough", Mingyu said.

"I can't talk back to her, Mingyu", Aera said looking down, "I just can't". Jiho came marching towards his mother, "Look at my pretty cheeks. Your mother made it red". Jiho showed his cheeks.

"Isn't it? Look at pretty chubby cheeks. I wanna eat it", Mingyu teased him. Jiho shook his head, holding his cheeks, "Don't you dare, monster". Jiho poked Mingyu's cheeks and ran away, "Catch me you monster".

"Run as much you want, my prey. Within my two steps, I'll catch you", Mingyu laughed like an evil monster. Jiho giggled.

"Ahh, you remind me of Seokmin uncle", Jiho ran as Mingyu ran behind him. Aera laughed seeing them. Aera noticed how Jiho was about to her Mingyu's mother's room. Before he could, Aera stopped him

"Don't go in there, she might again pull your cheeks", Aera whispered. Jiho hid behind her giggling, "Eomma, save your pretty, cute, handsome son from this monster".

"Hey you! Stop right there", she pointed at Mingyu, "Don't you dare touch my son, you monster". Jiho kept giggling standing behind her, also teasing his father. "Eomma!", Jiho whined, "You forgot to add pretty, cute and handsome".

"Oh yes! Stop right there Mr. Monster. Don't you dare trouble my pretty, cute and handsome son", Aera said. Jiho clapped.

"You should listen to your wife, you know, Monster Appa", Jiho said. Mingyu bowed down, "As you said, queen. I won't trouble your pretty cute and handsome son".

"What's this noise going on? I just came into the room and heard the noise", his mother came out of her room to see Mingyu bowing down to Aera while Jiho was behind her giggling.

"Why are bowing down to her? Is she a queen?", his mother asked. Jiho came forward, "Yes! She is!", covering his cheeks with his hands.

"Why are you covering your cheeks?", she asked. "Umm, a monster's mother who is also a monster is trying to hurt them", Jiho answered.

"Who is the monster's mother?", She asked. Mingyu was about to point at her but Aera pinched him, "Ouch!". Mingyu glared at her, pouting.

"Jiho, let's go. You have home work, don't you?", Aera asked. Jiho shook his head, "I have no-".

"You have let's go", Aera picked him up. Jiho struggled for few minutes but later gave up thinking that the more he stayed with grandmother, the more chances of her to pinch his cheeks. Thinking it was for his own good, Jiho stopped struggling.

"Here, a chocolate for behaving good", Aera gave him a piece of chocolate. Mingyu entered the room, "Yah, why did you pinch me?".

"You were about to point at her. She would think Jiho doesn't have any manners", Aera said. Mingyu looked at her with loving eyes. His heart broke knowing that at the end she going to get hurt. 

He made up his mind to tell her everything. Yesterday before he could tell her, she slept. Just 3 days were remaining for their anniversary, he wanted to tell her this at any cost.

"Mingyu, what are you thinking?", Aera snapped her fingers. Mingyu shook his head and smiled. He let out a sigh, "I am going to meet Seokmin".

Mingyu sat inside the car, closing his eyes. He drove to Seokmin's house. "What are you doing here?", Seokmin asked. "One more problem need a solution", Mingyu said. Seokmin sighed and let Mingyu enter inside.

"What happened now?", Seokmin asked, "Is it about Eunji?". Mingyu nodded, "She is pregnant".

"WHAT!?! I knew it. I knew something like this will definitely happened", Seokmin said. Mingyu told him everything that Eunji said, "I tried telling it to Aera but couldn't".

"Your mother is here too, right?", Mingyu nodded biting his nails. "I want to tell her Seokmin but I don't know how. Everything is slowly going back to it's place and I don't want to ruin it".

"Is better if you tell her as soon as possible. I don't want anything like last time", Seokmin said. Mingyu nodded, "I don't know how to tell her".

"Let's just watch a movie, maybe we can get a solution", Seokmin said. Mingyu rolled his eyes, "Just say you want to watch a movie". Seokmin nodded. While watching the movie, his phone rang, "It's Eunji". Mingyu kept his phone aside. Mingyu wanted to switch off his phone but Seokmin stopped him.

"I don't like her. But knowing she is pregnant,  I think you should pick up the call Mingyu, she might need some help", Seokmin said. Mingyu sighed and picked it up.

'Hello Mingyu, please come to the xyz hospital'

Before Mingyu could ask something, Eunji kept her phone. "She is calling me to the hospital", Mingyu said. "Then you should go", Seokmin said resting. "I am not going alone, you are coming with me too", Mingyu said pulling Seokmin with him.

Seokmin slapped Mingyu's hand, "I am not coming". But Mingyu didn't budge and at the end Seokmin agreed.

While driving Aera kept calling Mingyu who didn't pick up, "I think you should talk to her, Mingyu. It must be something urgent". Mingyu picked up the call,

"H-Hello, Mingyu"

"Aera, I am busy right now. Some work came up, I'll call you once I am done with this work"

"But Mingyu-"

He hanged up the call. Shaking  his head, he said, "If she calls you, please don't pick up. You will tell her everything without even knowing".

"I don't even have my phone. Look at me, I am here in my pajamas. Even if she calls me, it is of no use", Seokmin grumbled.

Reaching the hospital, Mingyu searched for Eunji. "She is there", Seokmin pointed at a woman sitting alone. Mingyu ran to her, "Why did you call me, now?".

Eunji looked at him and then her eyes landed on Seokmin, "Why is he here?". Seokmin shook his head, "I was kidnapped".

"Leave all that, Eunji. Just tell me, why did you call me?", Mingyu asked. "Nothing, the doctor wanted to meet the father. So I called you", Eunji gave a small smile.

Mingyu sighed, "Is that the reason?". Eunji nodded. "Miss Eunji, you can go in", the nurse said. Eunji looked at Mingyu, "You are coming right?". Mingyu looked at Seokmin, "Umm yeah".

"I am going. I don't have any work here", Seokmin said. As he walked out, his eyes landed on a familiar person, "Aera?". He saw her running towards the entrance with Jiho in her arms also a man walking behind her.

Seokmin ran to her, "Aera? What happened?". Aera stopped, "S-Seokmin, J-Jiho fell down from the stairs".

Seokmin helped her, soon the doctor came for the check up. Aera looked at Seokmin, "Where is Mingyu?". Seokmin couldn't answer her question, 'What should I tell her now? Should I tell her the truth? No, not right now', he thought.

Aera waited outside as the doctors were treating him in. Aera again called Mingyu, "He is not picking up, Seokmin". Seokmin looked at the man, "Umm who are you?".

"Myungho, Aera's friend", He said. Seokmin nodded, "Minghao is your real name?". Minghao nodded.

Aera tried calling Mingyu but he didn't pick up. Seokmin saw she needed him right now. "I'll come in a minute", Seokmin said.

Minghao looked at Aera who has been crying since she left the house. With a lot of hesitancy, he kept his hand on her shoulder. Her teary eyes locked with his, "I am scared, Minghao. Did you see how much blood was flowing?".

"Everything will be fine, Aera. Jiho is a strong boy, just like his mother", Minghao said trying to console her. Seokmin stood behind the wall seeing their conversation. "I should go and tell Mingyu", Seokmin whispered.

Meanwhile:

"Everything is fine, just follow the diet I have given you", the doctor then turned to Mingyu, "Please take care of her, properly. Make sure that she follows whatever I have told her. Be a good husband to her".

Mingyu couldn't help but give a fake smile and nod. Eunji looked at him and gave an apologetic smile. Coming out of the cabin, Mingyu sighed, "I am leaving".

Eunji held his arm, "I am sorry for this. Can we go and bring the medicines?". Mingyu wanted to say no but...

"Fine"

Eunji smiled, taking his hands in hers. Mingyu noticed this pulled his hand back, "Just because I am helping that mean you can do anything. Just don't touch me". Mingyu warned her.

Meanwhile, Aera impatiently waited for the doctors to complete their treatment. Seeing the doctor coming out, Aera stood up, "Is he fine?".

Doctor sighed, "He is fine. He is a small child and even got an injury on his head which can sometimes be crucial. So, we need to keep him under observation for next 24 hours".

"C-Can I see him?", Aera asked. "Umm, not right now. Maybe after few minutes. One of our nurse will come again to check up on him. So, that time", saying this the doctor went. Aera stood there in shock, doctor's words replaying in her mind

Minghao looked at her, he wanted to give her a hug but refrained himself from doing so. "He will be fine, Aera", Minghao said, "Look even Mingyu is here".

Aera looked the Mingyu who suddenly stopped walking, he still didn't notice Aera's presence. "Min-", she stopped seeing Mingyu behind him was Eunji who was looking happy. Also,

Both of their hands intertwined.....
