Author's Pov:

"W-What?", Mingyu whispered backing away from her, "You can never be pregnant. I had used protection whenever we did it. Also, what about your pills? Only once I didn't use protection and you said you were on pills, Eunji".

Eunji cried, "But I am pregnant, Mingyu. I don't know", she stood up and opened a drawer, "Here are the reports, Mingyu. Read it. I am fucking pregnant. I did the test twice, it was positive. I am 5 weeks pregnant".

"T-This can't be. You are lying", Mingyu stumbled. Just few minutes before Aera gave him a second chance, if she gets to know this, she will leave him forever.

"What do you mean by that, Mingyu? Do you think I am characterless women, who goes around finding for a man? Or a woman who acts like a pregnant so that I can take money from them?", Eunji said, "I am not, I don't need you to help me or accept it. I am not aborting this child, Mingyu. I just told you because I thought you should know".

"Why aren't you aborting it? We were not in an actual relationship, it is just result lust and nothing else", Mingyu said.

"It was only lust for you, Mingyu not for me. I know, you love her. I am not asking you to come to me. But I wanted to tell you this, I love you, Mingyu. I couldn't help but fall in love with you. I am accepting the reality, Mingyu. You can never be mine", Eunji said.

Mingyu vigorously shook his head, "No, No, No, not again". Mingyu held his head, "Aera just gave me another chance. If she gets to know this, then she will leave me again".

"But Mingyu-", Mingyu stopped her from speaking. "I need to go now", Mingyu said. Even after a lot of calls from her, he left.

At Jeonghan's House:

Jiho avoided Aera the whole day. He didn't even eat anything because he was still angry on Aera and Mingyu. "Jiho, come here right now", Aera sternly said. Jiho shook his head, "No, I am not coming".

"Fine then, you live here and I'll go and live with your appa", Aera said. As soon as Jiho heard it, his eyes sparkled, "You are not leaving Appa?". Aera shook her head, "I am not".

Jiho ran and hugged her, "Thank you so much Eomma". Aera patted his head, "Now listen to me, Jiho", he nodded. Aera took his small hands in hers, "Don't ever think that Eomma or Appa doesn't want you or hate you, we both love you a lot, Jiho. If we are going to live separately in our life later, then you are definitely not a reason. So, don't ever say that", Aera's voice cracked.

Jiho looked at her with a guilty face, "I promise, I won't say any such thing again". Aera kissed his head, "Good boy".

Jeonghan looked at them, "I wished our parents told us the same thing as you did, Aera. We wouldn't have blamed ourselves for their fights and divorce all the time". Aera smiled sadly, "Let's not bring the past again, Jeonghan. Eomma is gone, even Appa is gone for me".

"But Eomma, How did your Appa and Eomma look? Why didn't I ever see them?", Jiho asked. Aera looked at Jeonghan, "Jiho-ya, my Eomma was beautiful and Appa was handsome. My Appa left us when I was 13 and my Eomma died when I was 21. We have your grandma's pictures but not your grandpa's".

"Does Jeonghan uncle look like Grandpa?", he asked. Jeonghan shook his head, "Your Eomma looks like your grandpa and I look like your grandma".

"So that means both were good looking, weren't they?", Both Jeonghan and Aera nodded. "Was your Appa just like mine?", he asked. Aera's smiled vanished, "Few things were same".

"Where is Mingyu though?", Jeonghan asked. Aera shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know".

Jeonghan squeezed her hand, "I am your brother, Aera. If anything happens then come and tell me, I'll be there for you". Aera smiled and nodded.

"Aera!", Jeonghan suddenly said, "Isn't it your wedding anniversary after 5 days?". Aera nodded, "Yeah, his mother will be coming soon".

Mingyu's mother is a lavish person. At first she opposed the idea of Mingyu's and Aera's marriage. Mingyu went against his mother's will to marry her but once Jiho was born, she accepted Aera as her daughter in law. But still, she continued her taunts about Aera's past and that was the sole reason Mingyu decided to keep distance from his mother. Even if their relationship is not good, every year his mother keeps a lavish party for their anniversary. That's the only day when she spends time with them.

"Eww, why she is coming here?", Jiho made a face, "I hate her, she always pinches my cheeks until they hurt and talks bad about Eom- Ouch!", Aera slightly twisted his ear.

"She is your grandmother, Jiho. Don't talk about her like that", Aera said. Jeonghan panicked, "Leave his ear, Aera". As Aera left his ear, Jiho rubbed it, "Okay, I won't".

"And also no pranks on her like last time, Jiho. I am giving you a strict warning", Aera said. Jeonghan furrowed his brows, "Pranks? Did he play pranks on her?". Aera nodded, "Yeah, the only time she comes to our house is during anniversary and during that time too, Jiho and Mingyu don't let her live in peace".

Jeonghan laughed, "Jiho is understandable, but Mingyu? What beef does he have with his mother?". Aera shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know but he always supports Jiho with his silly pranks".

"What pranks did he play?", Jeonghan asked. Aera rolled her eyes and said,

"During our first anniversary, Jiho was almost one. She was sleeping and he pulled her hair so bad that some of her hair strands were in his hand. Mingyu was there but he didn't do anything because he panicked"

"During our second anniversary, Jiho tore her favorite dress which she wanted to wear in the party, so she was upset but this didn't end there, I hope you remember that Jiho vomited on her dress during the party and that dress was her second favourite"

"During our third anniversary, even Mingyu helped him. Instead of ice cream they gave her toothpaste to eat"

"And the last year, that is our fourth anniversary, Mingyu and Jiho both did such a ghost make up and scared her. I still have that photos"

"The hair and vomit one were actually unintentional but others were definitely not unintentional", Aera said. Jiho gave a mischievous smile. "Why am I getting to know about this now. Show me the pictures", Jeonghan said. Aera took her phone trying to search, "Aha, here".

(I know this is not a 3 year old kid, but let's just assume him as a three year old)

Jeonghan laughed, seeing those pictures. "Did they really do that? I couldn't even recognize Mingyu", he said. "Yeah, they did such things every year. Seokmin was ready to join them. But he got some work, so he had to drop the plan".

"This time no such pranks, understand?", she sternly said. Jiho nodded, "I'll try not to do such thing again".

Time skip:

It was now mid-night. There was no sign of Mingyu, even after a lot calls he didn't pick up. She called Mrs. Jang who said Mingyu still haven't arrived. Seokmin too didn't had any idea about Mingyu.

Aera paced around her living room, "Where are you, Mingyu?", she whispered. Jeonghan sat there seeing his sister in worry. At the end, Seokmin called back just to know that Mingyu is drunk and still not stopping.

Aera along with Jeonghan went to that bar to pick him up. Reaching there, they saw a totally wasted Mingyu.

"I'll drive his car, it's better if I directly go home. I don't want Jiho to him like this", Aera said. Jeonghan nodded, "No problem then. Let Jiho stay with until his grandmother comes". Aera agreed.

Driving back home, Mingyu kept talking. Aera's eyes was focused on the road while Mingyu's eyes were focused on her.

"Let's go now. I don't want any noise, Mingyu", Aera said trying to pull him out of the car. Mingyu walked with her, his eyes still not leaving her face, "You are too beautiful to be with me. I don't deserve an angel like you".

Mingyu looked at her with pout, "Why did you give a second chance to an idiot like me who keeps hurting you?".

"I ruined your life, didn't I? I made you believe in love but then I broke your heart. Even after this you love me. Why?", Mingyu said. Mingyu kept blabbering until they reached their room.

Aera started to change his clothes but Mingyu stopped her, "Do you know, I love you the most in this world. Leave me, Aera, divorce me. Find a person who can give you lots of love, unlike me who keeps hurting you. Marry that person who will never break your heart like I did. Be happy with that person who will love Jiho as his own son, unlike me who ignored his son. Marry that man, Aera who won't cheat".

Aera looked at him with tearful eyes, "You begged to me for a second chance, when I gave you the chance, you are pushing me away", she whispered, "What will you do if I leave you? Fall in love with someone else?".

Mingyu shook his head. A tear fell from her eyes, Mingyu noticed this, "Today too, I made you cry. I am bad". Aera wiped her tears, "What will you do then?"

"I loved you and will always love you, Aera. I am not falling in love if it's not you. If I am asked to fall in love with someone then it's going to be you again".
