Author's Pov:

Aera was sitting in her room waiting in her room when Mingyu and Minghao came in. "I have completed all the formalities", Mingyu said avoiding her gaze. Aera couldn't help but look at him, 'He cried, again', she sighed getting up.

The door opened and Jeonghan came in. "Aera, let's go. You will be living with us", he glared at Mingyu. Aera furrowed, "Suddenly? And what's with this angry tone?".

"Are you still not gonna tell me the truth, Aera", Jeonghan asked. Aera's smile faded, "What truth?". Mingyu sighed, "He knows everything, Aera".

Aera closed her mouth. "We should leave, right now. First we will go to your house, pack your clothes and all the things you need, even Jiho's then we will be leaving for our house", Jeonghan said walking out of the room. Aera followed, her eyes still not leaving Mingyu who had kept his head low.

As Aera passed him, she heard his sobs. 'So, this is the reason', she thought. Minghao was standing infront of her with pitiful eyes. Aera bit her lips, "I don't think I'll come at that garden as before".

"Let's go, Aera", Jeonghan said. The whole ride was silent, Aera saw Mingyu's car following them from behind.

As she got out of the car she saw Mingyu coming out of his car. Both their eyes met. "I'll be waiting here, complete your work. Take your time", Jeonghan said looking at front. Aera hummed.

Mingyu followed her from behind, "Will you be back?". Aera kept quiet, even she didn't knew the answer. Jeonghan has been a protective brother always. He trusted Mingyu a lot.

Mingyu stopped her, "Aera answer me, please". Taking a deep breathe, she said, "I don't know anything Mingyu. I seriously don't". She pulled her hand out of his grip, taking her bag she left. Mingyu stood near the door as he saw her sitting in the car. She didn't even look back.

"It feels as if my soul leaving my body", he chuckled. "It feels so empty", he said looking around the house. The silence was slowly eating him up.

Aera sat inside the car, wiping her tears. "Why did you act like it doesn't matter?", Jeonghan said looking at Mingyu who was looking at them. "I don't want to talk about that", Aera said. Her eyes still glued to Mingyu.

"Should we leave?", Jeonghan asked, his voice was soft. Aera nodded. She knew this time would come, she knew if Jeonghan gets to know the truth, he won't let her live with him.

"Did Jiho say something?", Aera asked. Jeonghan nodded, "He has an idea, Aera. I think he knows that there is something serious going on between you. At first he was confused but later agreed to come with me".

Aera nodded. "I didn't tell anything to Jiho. I don't know how he will react", Aera said. Jeonghan agreed.

Just like Mingyu was afraid of her going away from him, she was afraid too. She never told anyone but it was hard for her, leaving Mingyu was her worst nightmare.

Jeonghan opened the door of his house. They saw Minjee waiting for them with Yuna in her arms. "Jiho slept in his room. Poor boy, he is so tired", she said. Jeonghan didn't tell Minjee the reason Aera is here.

"Minjee, we will talk later. Aera let's go to your room", Jeonghan said. As he went, Minjee looked at Aera, "Did something happened? He looks angry".

Aera nodded, "I'll talk with you later, let me go and talk with him first". Minjee nodded. As she entered, she saw Jiho sleeping while Jeonghan was keeping her suitcase at side.

"Are you divorcing him?", Jeonghan asked. Aera hesitantly nodded. Jeonghan sighed, "You haven't decided, have you?". Aera looked down and nodded.

"Did you both even have a proper conversation?", he asked. Aera bit her lips and shook her head, "Everytime we tried to, it turned into an argument". Hearing this Jeonghan sighed.

"Jeonghan, I don't want to talk about this here. Especially infront of Jiho", Aera said looking at Jiho. Jeonghan's followed her gaze seeing his nephew.

"Let's talk later in morning then. Now, take rest", Jeonghan said and went out. Aera changed her clothes and sat on bed, caressing Jiho's hair, "Sleep well, Jiho-ya". As she hugged him, Jiho snuggled more into her embrace, hugging her like a koala.

'What must Mingyu be doing right now?', she couldn't help but think about him.

At Mingyu's House:

"Aera, please give me blanket", Mingyu murmured in sleep, hugging himself due to cold, "Aera". Mingyu woke up and realised Aera is not in the house nor Jiho is. Last time Aera went, he knew she will be back but this time both are unsure.

"Aera is not here, you punk. She left. Come out of your dream", Seokmin threw a pillow at him.

"Agrhh", Mingyu groaned, his back ached, "How did you enter this house?". Seokmin sat down beside him, "Aera called and told me everything. She was worried about you and asked me to come here".

"I am not a small baby", Mingyu grumbled. Seokmin smacked his head, "Be happy that she still cares about you, if I would have been her place then I would have kicked you out of the house".

"You think Jeonghan will let Aera or Jiho meet you?", Seokmin asked. Mingyu shook his head, "Never".

Mingyu rubbed his head, "I need to go for work". Mingyu stood up but Seokmin stopped him, "Mingyu, why are acting like nothing happened? Where is that old Mingyu who never gave up on Aera?".

"Vacation. That old Mingyu has gone for vacation, okay? Nothing can be done now. Jeonghan got to know about this, Aera went to live with him, Jiho is there too. Once Jiho gets to know what his father has done, he will hate me too", Mingyu snapped.

"Yah, don't shout at me. It scares me", Seokmin threw another pillow. "Stop throwing the pillows", Mingyu said. Seokmin sighed, "How did Jeonghan get to know about this?"

"Yesterday, in hospital-"

"What were got doing at hospital. Don't tell me you got Eunji pregnant", Seokmin got up. "It's nothing like that", Mingyu rolled his eyes. Mingyu told him the story that happened yesterday night.

"So, Minghao or Myungho saved her? He talked to her? And she let him? Woah. That guy did it in few days", Seokmin exclaimed, "What about that old man, Minjun?"

"He is in jail, they will call Aera for statements", Mingyu said, "So, me and Minghao were talking while sitting on roof top. Jeonghan heard everything".

Flashback:

Jeonghan stood behing the door, hearing their conversation.

"I cheated on her with my secretary just like her father did. It is obvious that she might be afraid to give me a second chance. Right now, she is thinking what if she ends up like her mother".

"You know what funny thing is? I know we can never be same again but still I try like an idiot knowing I have messed up", he heard Mingyu.

His blood boiled in instant, just few hours before he told Mingyu about his trust towards Mingyu and now he is hearing this.

"Does Aera know this?", Jeonghan asked. Mingyu turned around and stood up seeing Jeonghan. "Jeonghan", Mingyu whispered. "Does Aera know this, Mingyu?", he yelled. Mingyu slightly nodded, "Yes, she knows".

Jeonghan's heart broke, "What did she ever do to receive this treatment", he shouted at Mingyu. Jeonghan moved forward to punch him but Minghao stood between them, "Please, no fights. Think about Aera".

Jeonghan looked at Minghao and then moved back. "I am sorry, Jeonghan", Mingyu said. The word 'Sorry' had became a common thing for him now. "She and Jiho will be living with us from now on. I don't want my sister to live with cheater like you. She must have been so hurt, she loved you more than anyone else", he said.

Mingyu looked at him with wide eyes, falling on his knees, he pleaded, "Don't. Please don't, Jeonghan. I know she will never say no to you. If you ask her to live with you, she will agree". Jeonghan moved back, "Mingyu, you are thinking of yourself right now. Think about Aera too, do you think she is happy seeing you every day knowing you cheated on her? You think she is happy that the person she loved has cheated on her. Mingyu, you were the only one man in her life who brought her smile back but....", Jeonghan stopped.

"I don't know for how long but let Aera stay with us, also Jiho. Forget about her now, Mingyu.", Jeonghan said and went. "I think he is right Mingyu. After what happened today, Aera needs time. I agree with whatever her brother. I am not asking to let her go but let her just get some time off her own", Minghao said. Mingyu walked, "Let's complete the formalities of discharge so she can leave". Mingyu left from there meeting Jeonghan in the lobby who was waiting for him.

Present:

"She then came here, packed her luggage and went", Mingyu said. "What have done to yourself, Mingyu?", Seokmin's voice dripped with sympathy. Mingyu clicked his tongue, "Jeonghan is protective towards her. Within few days I might get divorce papers and then we will be end up being strangers again".

"So will you sign that papers?", Seokmin asked. Mingyu nodded, "I can't do it anymore, Seokmin. I have hurted her enough, I don't want Jiho to know what his father has done"

Seokmin looked at Mingyu, "What are you going to do then?". Mingyu sighed, "I don't know, Seokmin. The only thing I know is, I won't find a woman like her nor I can be in love with someone else".

"So you will not get married again?", Seokmin asked. "Maybe", Mingyu got up and went to his room. Seokmin watched him, letting out a sigh he said, "I wish I could do something".

"Nothing can be done, let's just accept the fate".
