"3.....2.....1...... HAPPY NEW YEAR" Everyone screamed while colourful crackers were bursting on the dark night sky making the sky look beautiful.

Swara was witnessing all this from the window having a sad smile.

Everyone was happy and hugging their loved ones.

"A new year has began.... another 365 days without maa and paa. I wish at least this year can make me better." Swara closed her eyes.

"I miss you maa and paa" a lone tear scrolled down her cheeks.

"Swara." Caroline knocked the door.

"Ha mom." swara immediately wiped her tears and opened the door.

"Happy New year, sweetie." Caroline pulled her into a hug.

"Happy New year mom." swara too said.

Caroline broke the hug and kissed her forehead.

"At least this year may my daughter be fine like before. " Caroline said.

"At least this year may i don't make you worry about me with those panic attacks." swara chuckled sadly.

"How can a mother be without worrying about their children?!" Caroline said making swara smile seeing her love and care.

"Happy New year, son" sanskaar read the message sent by his father.

"He doesn't even have time even to wish me in call at this day." sanskaar kept his mobile on the table.

Sanskaar hid both his hands inside his pant pockets and stood at his terrace looking at the Eiffel tower beautifully decorated with colourful lights adding more beauty to pairs.

"I wish I would have a chance to tell you what really happened that night at least this year, swara." sanskaar thought.

"Swaraaaaaa" Olivia yelled at swara on her mobile while swara kept her mobile far way so that her ear drums doesn't get damaged.

"Oli, stop yelling." swara said being annoyed.

"Hehe... Happy New year." these words made swara to smile.

"Happy New year to you too. " swara wished.

"The very first day of the New year. Let's cut a cake." Olivia words made swara's smile to fade away.

"The very first day of the New year, let's do something." sanskaar said entangling his hand with hers.

"What we'll do?" Swara looked at him.

"Let's cut a cake." sanskaar said.

"But where we will go for cake at this night." swara pouted.

"Here it is." sanskaar showed the ice cream cake which was present on the table.

"Aww.... you brought it before itself?!" swara asked looking at the cake.

"Yes!" He said and pulled swara near to him through her waist.

"I love you." sanskaar said in a husky voice making swara go all red.

"I love you too." swara hugged him.

" Swaraaa" Olivia literally shouted making swara come back to sense.

" I'm shouting for about 5 times and where are you lost?" Olivia asked.

"Ha..Ha I...I'll call you back." swara managed to speak and immediately disconnected the call.

Her eyes were glassy. She immediately went to the washroom and washed her faces.

"No swara, you have to be strong" swara thought to herself.

Sanskaar was about to leave.

"Beta have your breakfast." ramu kaka said.

"I'm eating outside kaka,you eat." sanskaar said and went out.

Sanskaar went inside the hotel and ordered a cheese sandwich as he was not in mood to eat anything else.

Soon he ate and was waiting for the bill that is when he saw swara and Olivia crossing the hotel through the glass doors.

He stood up to talk to her but stopped as he didn't want her to get sick again because of him.

"I still have time to talk to her but soon I'll talk to her." sanskaar thought being determined.

And came out after billing. He saw swara and Olivia sitting outside having their breakfast. His eyes caught on swara who was lost in thoughts somewhere.

"I never thought to snatch happiness from your life. I wish if I could I would have denied to his talks...... I'm sorry." sanskaar thought and left.

"Swara, tomorrow we are going to that music company. I'm so excited." Olivia squealed.

Swara just gave a smile.

"I wonder how you keep quite most of the time and hardly talk." Olivia said.

' I was just the same as you were before, but I've lost everything.' swara thought.

" Mmmm..... I'm done." swara said.

"Hey what about the cake?" Olivia asked.

"I don't want to, come." swara stood up.

"But I want." Olivia pouted.

"I'll buy your favourite bar instead now please come come with me." swara said while olivia's eyes twinkled.

"You are the best." Olivia hugged swara.

Swara too hugged her crazy friend.

A small quick update. My story is celebrating New year now only😂😂😂😂😂😂. I know it's soooo small and there was no swasan in this chapter but from now on there will be lots of swasan. Hope you all like the chapter do comment and hit the stars ⭐.
