Author's P.O.V.
The two hedgehogs were both asleep on the bed, both purring and smiling. They had an awesome time, but that will soon end, because the Ultimate Lifeform forgot to lock the door, so his best friend, Rouge, could walk in easily.

But let's be honest.

She would've walked in even if the door was locked.

The white bat walked in the house, being worried since her best friend had not gone to work for days. She walked around and heard purring, she smirked slightly and walked to the room then opened the door and gasped.

The dark hedgehog heard the gasp and stopped purring then pulled Sonic closer after a bit. This made the smaller one smile and purr loudly and mumbled in his sleep.

"I love you~" He said softly but it was audible for the white bat standing by the door.

"Oh my chaos...." The bat mumbled very quietly and covered her mouth.

The agent hummed quietly at what his boyfriend said and purred very quietly.

The bed they were on was a mess, they didn't clean up after their 'fun' so it was obvious what had happened there.

The smaller one turned around and nuzzled his boyfriend's chest fur, his ears were slightly lowered from the pain. This made the bat quickly get out of the room after she realized what they had done.

She laughed quietly with a smirk and flew away. She texted Shadow once she got to her house.

Rouge:
We need to talk.

Shadow groaned when he heard the phone and lightly nuzzled Sonic as he purred loudly when he touched his chest fur. He was lightly rubbing his back and holding him in a protective hug.

Sonic kept purring loudly and lovingly, he woke up hours later and nuzzled him again.

This made the Ultimate Lifeform wake up as well and he hummed then hid his face in his lover's quills.

The prince slowly opened his eyes and smiled happily. He stayed in that position since he was sore.

The agent yawned and hugged Sonic tighter. "Sonic...?" He mumbled tiredly.

"Yes...?" The smaller one yawned as well and purred softly then kissed his cheek.

"I love you~" Shadow smiled softly at the kiss and pecked Sonic's lips making his boyfriend smile brightly.

"I love you more Shadow~" He purred louder at his boyfriend.

The dark hedgehog smiled happily and nuzzled him. "Do you want me to heal you?"

"Yes, please... I can't move at all." He was slightly blushing then pecked his lips and nuzzled his muzzle.

"What if I don't heal you but do everything for you?" Shadow chuckled and purred softly at what the hero did.

His words made the smaller one chuckle. "You just want me to stay at your house."

"Nooo~ Why do you think that?" The agent chuckled and kissed Sonic's cheek. "I'm just kidding." He started healing him and his hickeys.

"You're so cute~" He purred at his boyfriend and kissed his cheek one more time. "I love you~" He was happy to say that and it made him happier to hear it back.

"I love you too." Shadow rubbed Sonic's ear. "And I'm not cute."

"But you are cute." Sonic's ear flickered a few times and leaned in his touch.

"No."

"Yes~"

"No...!"

"Sure~" He chuckled softly with a slight smirk.

The dark hedgehog rolled his eyes and stopped healing the Prince. "Shut up." He shook his head and laid back as he checked his phone.

The bat had sent him several messages that she needed to talk to him and that it was serious. The last message the bat sent knew it was going to make the ebony one either furious or nervous.

Rouge:
I saw you and Sonic.

This made Shadow drop his ears and blush. "Shit..." He whispered.

Sonic's ears perked up at this and he raised a brow. "What?" He asked confused.

Rouge:
Hun, we need to talk about this.

The agent slowly shook his head and showed the messages to the hero. "She saw us..."

Sonic madly blushed at this as he saw the messages. "W-wha- H-ho-" He rubbed his face to try to calm down. "We need to talk to her. Both of us, Shad." He tried to calm his blush, he knew Rouge would probably not believe that they actually had feelings for each other unless they both talked to her.

"She'll tell everyone...! I-I can't..." The dark hedgehog started panicking. "W-what if G.U.N. finds out!?"

The prince lowered his ears slightly at this. "Shadow... calm down... we just need to talk to her... Everything will be okay..." He said calmly even though it hurt him to hear what Shadow was saying.

"Right... Right, sorry." Shadow sat up. "I'll... I'll go take a shower..." He mumbled and slowly stood up and walked to the bathroom. "Damnit..." He whispered to himself and growled lowly when he closed the door behind him.

The azure one kept his ears lowered and he sighed. He looked at the door for a few seconds then he shook his head and slowly sat up as he waited for Shadow to get out so he could take a shower as well.

The agent walked out of the bathroom after he finished and dried his fur. "You can go." He was calmer now, but he was still mad.

The smaller one slowly nodded, he didn't want to get his boyfriend madder so he stayed quiet and walked to the shower. He sighed and turned on the water as he started thinking about what to do or tell Rouge so she could keep it a secret.

Rouge:
Meet me at my house when you can.

Shadow:
Why the hell were you in my house?

The Ultimate Lifeform was getting angrier by the second.

Shadow:
Don't you have anything better to do?

Rouge:
You had not gone to work for a day, the only thing I was told was that you were excused. I thought the commander had done something again. Plus, you left the front door open, so I walked in.

Shadow:
Couldn't you text me?!

Rouge:
I was worried about you!

Shadow:
I don't care!!
Don't you dare tell anyone about this!

Rouge:
I wouldn't do that but please tell me you aren't just messing around with him!

Sonic walked out of the shower and stretched. His fur was fluffier and his curves showed even more now. He looked at Shadow and walked to him then kissed his cheek. "I'm going to make breakfast."

The agent looked at his boyfriend and pecked his lips. "Rouge is pissing me off." He passed his phone to Sonic. "You talk to her while I make breakfast." He kissed his cheek again.

Sonic chuckled and smiled then nodded. "Alright but I'm stealing one of your jackets." The smaller one grabbed his phone.

"I don't mind that." Shadow smiled softly and rubbed his ear then stood up. "I can make some tea later." He added when he noticed Sonic's fur.

Sonic leaned in his touch and nodded. "Sure." He purred loudly. "Go make breakfast already." He chuckled softly at his boyfriend and looked at his phone again. "I'll talk to Rouge." He pecked his lips.

"Thank you." Shadow walked to the kitchen and sighed in relief, Sonic instantly calmed him down.

Rouge:
Shadow?! Hun! Are you using him?!

Sonic looked at the messages and sighed.

Shadow:
It's Sonic, Shadow is in the kitchen.
Rouge, he isn't using me, we've been together for a while and I would love for you to keep it a secret, please.

Rouge:
Of course Hun! Of course I will... But for how long have you two been together...?

Shadow:
That... doesn't matter... Just please keep it a secret, I don't want Shadow to be mad or worried about anyone finding out yet.

Rouge:
I understand that. Just be careful. Both of you.

Shadow:
We will, thanks Rouge.

Rouge:
No problem Hun, take care.

Sonic put the phone down and walked to the kitchen. "There. She won't tell anyone." He smiled softly and hugged Shadow from behind.

"Thank you." Shadow chuckled softly and purred quietly. "I owe you."

"Just give me a kiss and we are even." He smirked slightly at him.

"Only a kiss? I would've taken you out for a date, but fine." The Ultimate Lifeform hummed.

"Wait what?" The smaller one smiled. "You would?" He felt his face heating up lightly at the thought of them actually going on a date.

"Yes, but you just want a kiss, sooo~" The dark hedgehog smirked slightly at the younger's blush. "You get a kiss, I guess."

"Stop teasing." He rolled his eyes playfully. "You know I want to go on a date with you." He chuckled.

"You do~?" I didn't know that." Shadow hummed as he kept messing with him.

"Oh shut up." He chuckled. "But I still want a kiss too~" He purred lovingly.

"How about you let me make breakfast first? Because your hand is inches away from being burned." The dark hedgehog pulled the hero's hand away and put it higher to his chest fur.

The azure one hummed and nodded but messed with his boyfriend's chest fur for a bit then he pulled his hands away. "Alright."

"Go sit down, or make some tea. Do whatever you want." The agent continued making breakfast as he tried to stop purring so loudly from what Sonic did.

"I'll make some tea for us." The smaller one turned around to get the stuff then bent down to get the tea bags. The agent glanced at his boyfriend and lightly blushed as he noticed his position and slapped his ass.

This made the Sonic yelped and stand up correctly then turned around and glared lightly at his boyfriend. "Shadow!" He blushed.

"What?" Shadow acted like he did nothing wrong.

Sonic rolled his eyes playfully. "You're a pervert sometimes, Shad." He chuckled.

"I'm not a pervert." The agent looked at the Prince. "I'm just... I'm not a pervert." He couldn't find anything to deny what the hero said so he repeated himself.

This made the smaller one laugh softly. "Then why do you keep slapping my ass?" He chuckled as he looked at his boyfriend. His blush, finally leaving.

"Because I want to. It makes a nice jiggle when I do that~" The dark hedgehog turned off the stove and put the breakfast in two plates.

"Shadow!" The smaller one blushed a dark color again. He grabbed the tea bags quickly before Shadow could do anything then started making the tea.

"You started it." Shadow laughed softly. "It's your fault." He sat down and started eating.

Sonic rolled his eyes and made the tea then went to sit down at the table. He left the cups in the counter for later.

"Are you mad?" The dark hedgehog hummed and looked at his boyfriend.

The azure one started eating. "What if I am?" He didn't look at him.

"I guess I'll stop talking." The agent chuckled. "Or whatever you want me to do, I don't know."

The smaller one hummed and stayed quiet. He wanted to see if Shadow will try to do something to cheer him up or how he would react.

This made Shadow's ear twitch and he lowered both of them slightly. "Where do you want to go for our first date?" He changed the subject, thinking he'd taken it too far.

"You can choose wherever you are comfortable at, I don't mind." He glanced at Shadow and reached for his hand then squeezed it so he could know it was okay.

The Ultimate Lifeform took the hero's hand and kissed it, glad the Sonic wasn't mad. He lowered his ears and sighed. "I still can't believe that Rouge did that... I'm sorry..."

"It's okay Shadow." The smaller one blushed lightly and smiled at what he did. "Don't worry, she promised she wouldn't tell anyone." He smiled at him. "Can I ask you something?"

Shadow nodded and let go of Sonic's hand. "What is it?"

"Why are you scared of GUN finding out?"

The dark hedgehog dropped his ears and stayed quiet for a bit. "You never know what they will do..." He mumbled. "And they hate me, so they'll try to split us... Maybe even..." He shook his head not wanting to think about it. "They can't find out. Everyone else can, but not them."

Sonic slowly nodded. "Okay, I'll make sure no one finds out about us." He moved closer to his boyfriend and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you." Shadow purred quietly and continued eating. "I think I have a place in mind for the date."

Sonic looked at his boyfriend. "You do? Where?" He smiled softly, excited about going on a date with him.

"Somewhere." Shadow chuckled. "Somewhere nice."

"Aw, come on. Tell me~!" He pouted.

"But I want to surprise you." The dark hedgehog laughed. "Are you that impatient?"

"Yes. Yes, I am." The smaller one quickly said.

"Too bad then." Shadow shrugged and stood up. "I'm not telling you."

"Please~" He sat on his lap trying to convince him. This made him blush a bright color and stay quiet for a few seconds.

"You're trying to seduce me into telling you where I'm taking you?" He chuckled quietly as he tried to calm his blush, he kept his hands off of the smaller one. "It's not going to work."

"Hmm, really~?" The smaller one purred and leaned close to his boyfriend's neck and kissed it. "Where are you taking me~?" He wrapped his legs around his waist and kissed his neck again then licked it slowly.

Shadow madly blushed and started purring quietly at what the Prince was doing. "I'm... N-not telling you." He tried to push his chest gently. "It's a surprise." He didn't want to admit that he liked the attention.

The smaller one ignored what he said, he was now doing this because he wanted to see his boyfriend with a hickey. He started nibbling in his boyfriend's neck as he purred.

The taller hedgehog stayed quiet at this and purred a little louder as he slowly tilted his head to give the other more space, not caring if he left a hickey or not. He dropped his ears and wrapped his arms around Sonic's waist.

What he did made the smaller one nibble a little harder as he started leaving a hickey already as he continued purring.

Shadow bit his lip lightly and closed his eyes, he tensed up lightly from time to time since he wasn't used to it. This made Sonic move his hands to his chest fur and mess with it then slowly pulled away after a bit with a light blush, not so visible to his boyfriend.

He looked down at the hickey he left as he kept purring and smirked slightly. He leaned down and kissed his jawline then passionately kissed him.

The dark hedgehog's ears perked up and kissed back then pulled him closer. He deepened the kiss and purred loudly and lovingly.

Sonic purred loudly and wrapped his arms around his neck, he still had his legs wrapped around his waist.

Shadow slowly pulled away after a while and panted lightly, his blush not leaving his face. "You... Are getting more confident. I don't know if should be worried or not." He chuckled.

"Hmmm maybe you should~" He purred and smiled then pecked his lips again.

"You're crazy." The Ultimate Lifeform laughed and shook his head. "Get off. I need my tea."

Sonic softly laughed and got off his lap then grabbed the cups and gave one to Shadow. He began walking to the couch.

"Couldn't you do that yesterday? Now I have to stay like this for the rest of the day." He joked and sat on the couch.

"You left me too sore to do anything." He rolled his eyes playfully as he took a sip from the tea.

"Because you left me without any kisses for days."

"Oh shut up." He laughed softly.

Shadow chuckled and wrapped an arm around Sonic's waist, his hands were cold since the temperature in the room was cold, but he didn't notice. This made the smaller one yelp and moved his hand away.

"You're cold!" He looked at him and sat on his lap. "Your hands are really cold, don't touch me." He laughed.

"Sorry." The dark hedgehog grabbed the blanket that was still on the couch and wrapped it around both of them. "I didn't know." He pecked his lips.

"It's okay, Shad." He rested back on him as he drank his tea. He began purring softly. "I need to go home." He mumbled.

"Well, you can't stay here forever." The agent wrapped his arm around Sonic. "I can help you get everything fixed."

The prince smiled and shook his head. "No, it's fine, I can clean up." He purred a little louder.

"But I want to help~" Shadow whined playfully and hid his face in Sonic's quills. "Please~"

Sonic laughed softly and smiled. "Fine. Fine, you can help." He purred loudly.

"I love you~" The dark hedgehog purred softly. "I really do."

"I love you too Shadow~" The smaller one grabbed his boyfriend's hand. "So much~"

"Wait until Rouge hears this..." Shadow chuckled and kissed Sonic's ear. "She Will be either scared or happy."

"I'm sure she'll tease you about it." His ear flickered and he laughed. "Stop doing that."Done)

"No." The dark hedgehog kissed his boyfriend's ear again. "I love them."

His ear flickered again and laughed a little louder. "Shad! My ears are sensitive." He was smiling.

"I know~" Shadow chuckled and drank his tea then put the cup down. "That's why I'm doing it."

"Don't." He laughed and shook his head then looked at the time. "I should go now."

"Fine." the agent pouted. "Can I get a kiss before you go?" He turned Sonic around and pinned him on the couch. "Please~?"

The smaller one gasped since he was taken by surprise and blushed then smiled and nodded. "Just kiss me~" He purred lovingly.

Shadow smiled slightly and leaned in, just when he was about to kiss him, someone called him, which startled him. This made the smaller one groan loudly without realizing it.

He blushed a darker color after he noticed what he did and lowered his ears slightly.

"Why me?" Shadow groaned in annoyance since everyone was looking for him all of a sudden, he saw that the Commander was calling him and raised a brow.

He mumbled something under his breath and picked up the phone. "What is it now?" He got off Sonic.

"Project Shadow. We are informed that you are in a 'special bond' with a member of the royal family." The Commander growled lowly, making the agent drop his ears.

The smaller one raised a brow. "Who is it...?" He asked concerned in a whisper.

The dark hedgehog raised his hand, telling Sonic to be quiet. "I don't know what you're talking about." He said coldly. "I have nothing to do with the royal family."

"We have evidence, agent Shadow. Come to my office, now." The Commander growled. "You better be here in five minutes." He hung up after that, not letting Shadow explain.

The dark hedgehog growled lowly and stood up. "You're dead, Bat." He mumbled lowly.

"Shadow...?" The prince had his ears dropped scared of when Shadow would get mad. "Shad, what happened?" He sat up.

"G.U.N. found out..." The Ultimate Lifeform walked to his office. "I knew she would tell them!!" He shouted in frustration, he was afraid, or even scared that they will do something to them for that.

Sonic pinned his ears down. "Are you going to G.U.N.? They can't do anything Shadow! They can't tell you who to be with or not."

"You don't know what they're capable of, Sonic..." Shadow sighed as he walked back to his living room with his gun, he had his ears lowered as he tried to act calm. "Can you promise me something...?" He looked at the hero in worry.

"What is it...?" He asked both confused and worried about what he said as he stood up. The hero still had his ears dropped at what was going on.

"Don't visit or text me for a week. And don't talk to Rouge..." Shadow said, he was sure G.U.N. was going to torture him. "Actually, don't try to find me, until I text you."

"But... Shadow... I can't-" He was going to tell Shadow that he didn't want to do that but he was cut off.

"Just listen, I'm not asking." Shadow raised his hand in front of Sonic's face to stop him, he pushed him out of his house and sighed. "I'll see you in a week... Hopefully..." He shut the door before the smaller one could say anything.

"Wait! Shadow!" He tried to open the door again not wanting to do what his boyfriend asked him to. "Open the door!" He was dead worried about his boyfriend.

The dark hedgehog had already left after he locked everything in his house, he chaos controlled outside the Commander's office and opened the door not bothering to knock.

"Project Shadow." The Commander said sternly and crossed his arms. "How dare you even speaking to someone from the royal family?! Let alone our hero!"

Shadow immediately started growling. "Who told all those things?! How do you know it's true?!"

"We have evidence, agent Shadow. And don't raise your voice at me! Is that why you were excused?!" The Commander kept pressuring the hedgehog.

"Answer me first!" Shadow tried to fight back, but he knew that he was practically shooting himself in the foot by doing that. "Who. Told you?!"

"That doesn't matter now, agent. You better answer my questions before you get punished."

"I don't care about your stupid punishment!" The Ultimate Lifeform was about to attack his 'boss' when one of Eggman's robots attacked him. He gasped and tried to push the robot away, but that started sending off a weird noise, that immediately made the hedgehog fall on the ground and cover his ears. "W-what is... This thing...?" he asked weakly as his vision got blurry.

"Project Shadow. You are now under my control." The Commander smirked and walked to the weak hedgehog that was trying to get up. "For real this time."

The noise was too much for the poor anti-hero, he felt as if the noise was trying to control him, to get in his head.

He couldn't take this anymore, he gave in and let go off his ears.
