Why are none of my friends picking up their phone today?

Asa kya hai aaj?

I checked my calender on my phone and on my wall, but there was nothing today.

Maybe they're all busy with work today, but it's Saturday. Maybe then they are busy with housework or chores or something.

I just put my phone down and decided to call it a night.

----Nikki's POV---

We were currently at the reception. It was going better than I could've ever imagined it to be.

It was time for the slow dance when Sahanna and Chandani walked in.

I'll deal with these two later.

Once open dance floor started I went to them.

"You two are late," I said.

"We know. Where's Aayushi?" Sahanna asked.

"I didn't invite her," I said.

"That's what we thought," Chandani said.

"Why did you do that?" She asked a second later.

"Oh come on. Did you actually think she would have enjoyed herself here? She wouldn't have. And plus have you seen how she dresses, she'd be an embarrassment to me," I said.

"I'm so done here!" Chandani said and left.

"I can't believe you. Have a nice life," Sahanna said.

"Oh, trust me I will," I said and she left.

----Aayushi's POV ---

I couldn't sleep so I went on my phone. I was about to open my instagram when someone started ringing my doorbell.

"Chandani, this late? Everything okay?" I asked.

"No. Nothing is okay," she said crashing on the sofa.

My friends treated my house like it was their house.

"Hua kya?" I asked.

"Do you not have social media?" She asked.

"I do, par I was sleeping. Ek minute," I said and left to get my phone.

She took it out of my hand.

"Before you check just remember, I'm here for you and so is Sahanna," she said.

"Okay," I said a bit confused.

I opened it and what I saw shocked me.

"Nikki nah shaddi karli?" I asked shocked.

She nodded.

"Why are you two not in any pictures?" I asked.

"We left because you weren't there. It wasn't fair to you," she said.

"Thanks but this was your friends wedding," I said.

"Well our friend isn't a friend anymore," she said.

She slouched further on the sofa.

"People change after a wedding. Sometimes it's for the worse," she sighed.

"Hhmm," was all I could.

"Chal yaar. Come here, let's try to figure life out," she said and I sat by her.
