----Hussain's POV ---

I don't think anyone even seems to notice the pain I'm actually in.

I decided to quickly drive to her house but her parents said that she doesn't live with them anymore.

And they said two people came earlier asking about her as well and she's not taking anyone's phone calls.

Where could she have gone? What's one area that she knows about that the others don't?

I went to my car and headed for the park but she wasn't there.

Then I remembered the lake. I drove to the lake and saw her car parked there.

I went to the swing because I remembered her saying that's the main reason she'd come.

I got there and my heart shattered seeing the swing broken.

I looked around and saw no rescue crew but I saw a news crew.

Once they wrapped up I asked what happen.

"They found a body in the water about two days ago and she's in the hospital now," the news reporter said.

"She? Your sure it's a girl?" I asked and she nodded.

"Which hospital?" I asked and she told me and I was off.

I got to the hospital and asked for her but they said there was nobody by that name.

I ended up describing the case and they said that's she's been in the ICU for two days.

I thanked the receptionist and left to the ICU and described to the doctor the same thing.

"Her lungs have filled with water and we are trying our best to take care of everything. One of her friends is here and you can get more information from her," he said and left.

I went into the waiting room.

"Hussain. Tum yaha?" Chandani asked shocked.

"Ya," I said.

"Come and sit," she said.

"How'd you find out?" I asked as I sat down.

"Woah, I had gone to the police and asked them to trace her phone. She left it in her car so we were able to at least locate the car and when I saw the broken swing I just put two and two together," she said.

"Oh. Why didn't you call anyone?" I asked.

"Phone is dead and plus you were getting ready for a wedding," she said.

"Yaar ek gal das, did you actually think I wanted this wedding?" I asked.

"Everyone did Sain," she said.

"Sh*t!" I said kicking the table.

"Relax," she said.

"I can't. I feel like this is all my fault. If I never got this jealous and mad she wouldn't be in this spot," I said.

"Hussain, maybe this was meant to happen. What if she wasn't in this spot, do you where you would probably be?" She asked.

I shook my head.

"Look at the clock. You'd be getting married. It just clicked today to you that this is what you want. She's who you want," she said.

"True," I said.

"Remember when I told you that every broken heart had a beat?" She asked and I nodded.

"I want you to remember that, because I do know that even she found out about the wedding but I don't know if the doctor told you this, her broken heart is still beating," she said.

I looked at her shocked.

"What?" I asked.

"She's completely fine. I just saw you coming while sitting with her and we super duper fast told the doctor everything, " she said.

"I don't whether to laugh or be mad right now," I said.

"I think right now you should see her and tell her how you feel. Sometimes God gives us a second chance Hussain, if you don't tell her you may end up regretting it for the rest of your life," she said.

"Okay, I'll go," I said and left.

I took a deep breath and went inside.

"Hey," I said. "I know your awake."

With that she opened her eyes and I couldn't help but laugh at her childish behavior.

"I'm so sorry. I wish I never got so bad, but I have this very bad habit of making decisions fast and getting upset within seconds," I said.

"It's okay. It's not your fault. I never told you that I don't know how to swim," she said.

I looked at her confused.

"I'm talking about my stupid decision to go through with marrying someone else," I said.

"Oh. It's your life Hussain," she said.

I kissed her.

"My life is you. You have no idea what I just felt when I found out you were here. I love you and only you. Maybe we didn't give each other enough time to get to know each other but I know we will. Because my heart beats for you, every single time and every broken piece," I said.

"I'm sorry I broke it," she said.

"Don't be. I learned a lot from this experience," I said.

"Like?" She asked.

"Like sometimes a wrong number is the right person for us," I joked.

"Your an idiot," she laughed.

"True, but I love you," I said.

"I love you too," she said.
