I quickly got ready and went to work.

I needed to be away from everything for a bit.

I got to my office and went straight to work.

My phone went off about five minutes later.

I smiled at that and put my phone away.

After my shift was over I went outside to see it was raining worse than what it looked like.

Damn it!! I don't have money for a cab!

I quickly searched through my purse and found enough to get me home.

I got a cab and it was a bit of ride so I decided to listen to some music. Right when I got my phone out it showed Hussain calling.

"How did you know I was done?" I asked before anything else.

"You told me you work the typical lifestyle job," he said.

"Oh. That's right!" I said.

"So anyways. Listen one of my friends is throwing a party. I want you to come," he said.

"Hussain, thanks but no thanks. I mean we've met only once," I said.

"Twice," he said.

"1st 1 doesn't count," I said.

"You have to give me a chance. Aayushi, I know your story but please I'm trying to be your friend. You have to let me in. I promise you I'm not one of those types guys that you'd imagine a stranger would be that hangs around a girl. I promise you, I'm trying to be your friend. I remember everything you told me. Please just one chance. If you end up not liking me, I promise I'll stop bothering you. I will delete your number and never contact you again. Just one chance," he said.

"Okay. I'll give you a chance," I said.

"Thank you so much. I'll see you Friday night," he said.

"Hussain," I said.

"Ya?" He asked.

"Woh uummm, what type of party?" I asked.

"It's just a business party. Dress code is desi," he said.

"Okay. And Hussain, I'm trusting you," I said.

"I won't break it," he said and I smiled at that.
