03. We're Being Punked, Pedro

The triplets, the twins, Nova and Lizzie and Josie, sat in a circle in Dorian's class, everyone holding each other's hands.

"All right, gather around" Dorian instructed, "Chain spells are about the fluid movement of energy from witch to witch".

"Boring" Alec mumbled, making Nova, who was sitting next to him, remove her hand from his grip and use it to slap his shoulder.

"Can you for once not be mean?" Nova whispered.

"No" Alec whispered back, once again grabbing Nova's hand.

"Where's Penelope Park?" a curious Dorian asked.

"Um, lady cramps, Mr. Williams" Lizzie lied.

"Sorry I asked" a suddenly awkward Dorian said.

"Why do all men get so awkward about periods?" Hope whispered to Mia, who was sitting on her one side while other side was occupied by Asher.

"I have no idea" Mia whispered back, sitting next to Hope and Jayden.

"A disharmonious group makes for an uneven flow" Dorian continued his lesson.

Immediately Mia, Hope, Nova, Josie and Lizzie started laughing while the boys shook their head at them.

"Real mature" Jayden teased.

Mia smiled at Jayden, "Thank you".

"Uh no, who's in trouble with the headmaster?" Josie wondered as a flying note entered the classroom.

"Probably the girls who won the football match despite Alaric specifically saying you were supposed to lose" Asher replied.

"We won fair and square" Mia defended.

"Yeah, the headmaster doesn't care about that" Alec taunted.

"Lizzie Saltzman, Josie Saltzman, Asher Salvatore, Alec Salvatore, Mia Salvatore, Nova St. John, Jayden Mikaelson" Dorian read out.

"Wait, why me?" a confused Jayden asked, "Yesterday was my most well behaved day".

"Maybe cause everyone knows that whatever Alec and Asher did, they couldn't have done it without the help of their third musketeer" Lizzie taunted.

"Someone write this day down" an excited Hope said, "It's the first time you've all gotten in trouble but I didn't".

"I can't believe we're about to get in trouble for playing fair" Nova complained.

"Only Alaric Saltzman will do that" Alec taunted, as the group stood up.

"Hope, stop being so smug about this" Asher warned.

"How can I not be smug about this?" Hope teased, as everyone walked out the room.

"This makes no sense, dad" Lizzie complained, as the group followed their headmaster around the library, "Why are we being punished?".

"Because you went against my direct order, you all risked exposing what we really do here" Alaric replied.

"What part of, we played fair and square do you not understand?" an annoyed Nova asked.

"And, you weren't mad last night" Lizzie reminded.

"I was mad last night" Alaric clarified, "My undying love for my daughters just happened to trump my rage, I volunteered everyone in the game, so stop complaining, you're lucky that it's just community service".

"Can I at least offer a rebuttal in my defense, if it pleases the court?" Lizzie asked, Alaric gestured her to go, "First of all, Nova provoked the competitiveness in me to come out".

"Tell me she's kidding" Nova said, glaring at Lizzie.

"She's not" Alec stated.

"This little--", Nova went to attack Lizzie, but before Alaric or Lizzie could see, Asher wrapped his arms around Nova and pulled her towards him.

"Calm down, you're already in trouble, don't make it worse" Asher warned, Nova glared at Asher, but she also knew he was right, so without saying anything, she leaned her back against Asher's chest, Alec looked at them for a moment, before turning his gaze away.

"And secondly, if anyone should take the blame, it's Mia" Lizzie continued.

"What?!" a shocked Mia asked.

"Now tell me to calm down" Nova teased Asher, knowing neither of the brothers tolerated when their sister was wronged.

"How the bloody hell are you going to blame this on Mia?" a equally furious Jayden asked.

"I'm sorry" Lizzie apologised, "But it's true, it was Mia who stopped Josie from sabotaging the game".

"How dare you throw my sister and Nova under the bus?" a furious Alec asked.

Nova quickly grabbed Alec's wrist, gaining his attention, she shook her head, letting him know to just let it go for now, Alec rolled his eyes but the nonetheless nodded his head, in all this none of them realised that Nova had gravitated away from Asher and towards Alec.

"Alright, I've heard enough, the bus leaves in ten minutes, and I expect all of you to be on it, working together today, harmoniously and without drama" Alaric instructed, "End of debate".

"Wait, we still haven't established what I did to be standing here" Jayden pointed.

"You helped Asher and Alec preform black magic to locate Landon" Alaric reminded.

"Where's your proof?" Jayden asked.

"I don't need proof, because I'm well aware of how you three are" Alaric retorted, "All right, now, go, all of you, come on".

While the girls walked out the library, the three boys stayed in the room.

"Seriously?" an annoyed Jayden asked Alaric.

"What part of what I said needs translating?" Alaric asked.

"Alaric, something is coming, the dragon lady is a big clue to that, instead of giving us community service, you should be asking our help in finding out what is coming" Asher said.

"Dorian has a master's degree in library science" Alaric reminded, "I think the adults have it covered".

Alec scoffed, "Convenient how the adults didn't have it handled when they had to deal with a dragon, but when they have to stay in safe library to do research, they have it handled".

"I am spinning right now, Alec" Alaric warned, "And I can't drag you or anyone else any further into this until I figure out what's going on, okay? So right now, I need you three to be kids, keeping a dragon sized secret today until I get some answers, understood?".

"Perfectly" Jayden said, giving Alaric a forced smile, neither boys happy with this.

"So what did you do?" a curious Lizzie asked Asher and Alec, as the group walked out the bus, "My dad never gets mad you, you're the prodigal sons, must have been juicy".

"We're not Alaric's sons" Alec snapped, "We already have two fathers, don't need another one".

"All right, listen up" Dorian said, addressing the group, "It's a beautiful day, you got options, litter, weeds, graffiti, your choice", Dorian handed the trash picking stick to Kaleb.

After Dorian walked away, Kaleb turned to the group, "There's no way in hell I'm picking this trash up".

Nova sighed, "Hand it over, I'll do it".

"You're going to pick up trash?" an amused Alec asked, as Kaleb handed the stick over to Nova.

"The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we get to go back" Nova reminded.

"Nova's right, I'll go clean the graffiti" Mia said.

"I'll come with you" Jayden told Mia.

"I'll help you" Alec told Mia.

The group of four turned to Asher, wondering what he was going to do, "Absolutely not" he stated, "Uncle Elijah just gave me this shirt and jacket, it's really expensive and I can't afford for it to get dirty".

"Did you really just say that?" an amused Mia asked.

"Did you two brothers swap souls today?" an equally Nova asked, "Alec is willingly helping me and Asher is complaining about his clothes".

"I'm not complaining, I'm informing" Asher retorted.

"What the hell are you going to do in the mean time?" Jayden asked.

Asher pulled out a book from his jacket, "Uncle Elijah sent it to me".

"Of course he did" Alec said, shaking his head.

"Yeah, no, you're definitely still Ash" Nova teased.

Mia chuckled, "Alright people, let's split and meet here when we're done".

Mia, Jayden, Kaleb and MG stood infront of a window that had the words Salvatore is 4 losers graffitied on it.

"I can't believe what these people are calling my dad's name" Mia whispered, furiously scrubbing the window, while MG helped her and Jayden made her sure Mia didn't fall off the ladder she was standing on while Kaleb simply watched

"You can blame our headmaster for this" Kaleb said, "Because of him the Salvatore name is a joke, I mean he's seriously punishing us for winning a game fair and square?".

"It wasn't fair" MG pointed out, "We're supernatural, they're human".

"It was fair and square, MG" Jayden said, his hand going on Mia's waist just as she was about to fall about.

"Thanks" Mia whispered.

"Welcome" Jayden smiled, before turning back to MG, his hands still on Mia, "You guys didn't win because of your supernatural strength, you won because you were actually good at the game".

"Plus, LeBron's maybe the best player ever" Kaleb said, "Should he quit scoring? Cause no one on the court can check him, we're faster, we're stronger, we're better, and we ain't got nothing to apologise for", Kaleb looked at MG, "Nothing".

"Amen to that brother" Jayden said, helping Mia off the ladder.

Mia smiled at Jayden but the smile immediately went away when she saw the students of Mystic Falls High making their way over to them.

"Hypothetical question" Kyle said, a milkshake in his hand.

"Great" Kaleb complained.

"How bad would it suck if whoever did this graffiti just came back tonight and put it right back up again?" Kyle asked.

"Well, whoever the dickhead is, make sure you tell him to get his spelling right next time" Jayden said, gesturing towards the wrong spelling of losers, immediately embarrassing Kyle.

"Hey, Jayden" Dana greeted, giving Jayden a flirtatious smile, immediately causing Mia to glare at her.

"Go away Dana, he doesn't want to talk to you" Mia snapped, standing infront of Jayden.

"Um, he can speak for himself, Salvatore" Dana said, "He's not you who needs other people to fight their battles for her".

"And he doesn't want to talk to you" Jayden snapped, glaring at Dana, whose smile fell hearing Jayden's words, "Not a huge fan of bitches, Dana".

Mia gave Dana a smug smile, but that smile quickly turned into horror when Kyle dumped his milkshake on her.

"What the hell?!" a furious Jayden yelled.

"That's my bad, my bad" Kyle said, not even slightly apologetic.

Jayden glared at Connor, he walked over to him and punched him in the face.

"Ow!" Kyle cried, "What the hell man?!".

Jayden ignored his cry and just kept on punching him, eventually Kaleb and MG had to pry him off of Kyle once they realised Jayden was going to kill him if they didn't stop him.

"Jay stop!" MG yelled, pushing Jayden away from Kyle.

"Let go, Kaleb!" Jayden yelled, struggling in Kaleb's grip, "I'm going to kill him!".

"Forget him and focus on Mia, man" Kaleb said, "She needs you".

"Mia" Jayden whispered, his rage suddenly forgotten and concern taking over, he turned to where Mia was standing, but to his shock and worry, Mia wasn't there anymore, "Where did she go?".

Kaleb and MG looked in the same direction and they were also shocked to see Mia not there.

"She was right here" MG pointed out.

"Then where the hell did she go, MG?!" a furious Jayden asked.

Mia had rushed back to the Salvatore Boarding School, ignoring the concerned look Pedro threw her way, she rushed outside and sat on a rock, with her head on her knees, she started sobbing, and she kept sobbing till someone came and placed their jacket over her shoulders, they then sat next to her and side hugged her.

"What is wrong with me?" Mia cried, knowing who it was without even looking, "Why can I never fight for myself? Why am I so weak, Hope?".

"You're not weak, Mia" Hope said.

"But I am" Mia cried, "You know, dad and Care Bear and Uncle Nik and everyone else always says that I am my mother's daughter, that I am exactly like Aria Salvatore, but come on, Aria Salvatore would never let people treat her like this, she was a fighter, who gave birth to a coward".

"You're not a coward, Mia" Hope stated, "You're just a girl who lost the people who were supposed to teach her how to fight, not fighting back doesn't make a person weak or a coward, it just means that you're still learning, and one day you will fight back, but not to these lousy humans who don't deserve even a ounce of your attention, mark my words Mia Amelia Salvatore, you're made for much bigger things".

Mia looked at her best friend, "You really think that?".

Hope wiped Mia's tears, "Absolutely".

Mia gave Hope a teary smile, she opened her mouth to say something, when suddenly the two girls let out loud gasps when a gargoyle statue suddenly appeared infront of them and started growling.

"Oh my god" a shocked Mia whispered, she grabbed Hope's hand just as the gargoyle hovered over them, trying to stab the two girls, "Hope, run!".

While holding on to each other's hands, Mia and Hope quickly took off running.

"We need to get inside!" Hope yelled.

Mia nodded her head, the two girls quickly rushed into the boarding house, they then turned around and stared at the front door through which the gargoyle statue was coming in.

Mia and Hope looked at the statue then at each other, they gave each other a nod, they knew what they had to do, as Mia started siphoning from Hope, the two girls held their free hands infront of them and shouted, "Imperium monstrum!".

A loud yell was held as the gargoyle statue lunged towards the two girls.

"Mia! Hope!" a panicked Alaric yelled, rushing over to the two unconscious girls, who laid in the middle of the floor, still holding on to each other's hands, "Oh, my god, what happened?" Alaric kneeled by the two girls, "They're aren't moving, why aren't they moving?".

"The statue hurt them" Pedro informed, rushing over to Alaric, "I saw it".

Alaric looked down at Mia and Hope's stomachs, where there were identical gashes of someone's claws, how the hell was Alaric supposed to explain this to Kol and Klaus, who will literally kill him for not protecting their daughters.

Alec leaned against a tree and smirked seeing Nova picking up the trash.

"Hey Nova, anyone tell you that you're really good at picking up trash?" Alec teased.

Nova glared at the middle Salvatore, "Anyone tell you that you're a brat?".

"You do, nearly everytime I speak to you" Alec replied.

"You don't speak to me Alec" Nova said, "You purposely pick fights with me, I mean, we've known each other since the moment we were born and I can't remember one moment in my life where you didn't poke at me for something or the other, is it because of Asher? Do you think I'm taking your brother away from you?".

Alec rolled his eyes in annoyance, "This has nothing to do with Ash".

"Good" Nova said, "Because you should I'd never come between you two".

"You couldn't even if you tried" Alec stated, "We're not that weak that we will let our bond break because of a girl".

"I'm sure your dad thought the same thing when it came to his brother" Nova teased.

"That's a whole different story" Alec retorted, "The rivalry between my dad and Stefan Salvatore wasn't because of mom, it was because they were the doppelgangers of Damien and Silas, history always repeats itself in Mystic Falls".

"Let's hope it doesn't this time" Nova mumbled, but Alec cleared heard her.

"Oh trust me, it won't" Alec stated, "I will never fall for you".

"Good, cause I will never fall for you either!" Nova stated, slamming her trash picker on to the ground, but she misjudged and instead of the ground, the trash picker ended up going through her foot, "Aah!".

"Shit Nova, are you okay?" a concerned Alec asked, rushing over and kneeling infront of Nova.

"No I'm not okay Alec!" Nova snapped, "I'm in pain!".

"Alright just relax, I'm going to pull it, don't move" Alec said.

"What, no?!" Nova protested, "It's gonna hurt".

"It's gonna hurt if I don't pull it out" Alec retorted.

"I will bleed out" Nova argued.

"You are the child of two vampires, you can heal yourself" Alec argued back, "Here, hold my hand, squeeze as tight as you need", Alec forwarded his hand towards Nova, who quickly grabbed it, with his free hand, Alec grabbed the pole of the trash picker, "Okay, here goes".

"Aah!" Nova yelled as Alec pulled the trash picker out of her foot.

Alec stood up and cupped Nova's face with his free hand, "Are you okay?".

Nova took a deep breath, "Yeah, I think so".

Alec took a sigh of relief, "Thank god" he mumbled, before looking at Nova, the familiar Salvatore smirk forming on his face, "This time I didn't have to poke you, that was done all by yourself, you literally poked yourself".

Nova looked at Alec, "Get lost" she laughed, shoving a chuckling Alec away from her, their one hands still intertwined with each others.

Alec finally decided to be useful and help Nova out in picking the trash up, as he tied up another bag and placed it in the pile, he bent down and clutched his stomach and groaned in pain.

"Alec?" a concerned Nova called out, "Are you okay?".

Alec looked at Nova, "Something's wrong".

"With you?" a worried Nova asked.

"With one of my siblings" Alec said, immediately looking around of his brother, "Where's Ash? He was sitting right on that bench".

"Wait, you think Asher's in trouble?" a panicked Nova asked.

"I don't know" Asher replied, rushing to find his brother.

"Alec, wait up!" Nova yelled, running after the middle Salvatore wanting to make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble.

"Hey, have any of seen my brother?" a worried Alec, rushing over to Kaleb and MG, Nova right behind him.

"Uh, no man, last we saw he was sitting on the bench reading a book" a confused Kaleb informed, wondering why did Alec look so panicked.

"Dammit!" a panicked Alec yelled, kicking a trash bag in his anger.

"Alec calm down!" Nova yelled, grabbing Alec's arm.

"Don't tell me to calm down, Nova!" Alec snapped, removing his arm from Nova's grip, "You don't know what I felt, my brother could be in some serious trouble right now".

"Nothing is going to happen to Asher" Nova stated, "If he is in trouble, you need to keep a cool head, you won't be any help to him if you lose your mind".

"What's going on?".

Alec and Nova turned behind them and both of them breathed a sigh of relief seeing Asher standing there, all fit and well.

"Oh thank god" Nova whispered, running over to Asher and hugging him, "I'm so glad you're okay".

"I'm okay" a confused Asher said, hugging Nova back.

"Where the hell did you disappear to?" a furious Alec asked, marching over to Asher and Nova, causing the two to break their hug.

"I was just walking around the town square" Asher replied, "Alec, what's wrong?".

"I thought something happened to you" Alec said, he stepped forward and pulled his brother into a tight hug, "I'm so glad you're okay".

Asher opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, both him and Alec separated from each other and clutched their stomach in pains.

Nova quickly grabbed each of their arms, stopping them from falling to the ground, "Guys, what's going on?" she asked, extremely worried for the two brothers.

Asher and Alec looked at each other, panic shown clearly on their faces, "Mia" they whispered.

"What?" Nova asked.

"Something has happened to our sister" Alec realised.

"It's not just Mia" Jayden informed, running over to the group, equally worried and panicked as the two brothers, "I felt twin pain as well, Hope is in trouble as well".

"Oh god" Nova whispered, "What the hell did these two get themselves into this time?".

"I'm sorry, I can't let you leave" Dorian informed Asher, Alec, Nova and Jayden.

"Did you not hear us?!" an annoyed Alec asked, "We need to go back to the school, our sisters are in trouble!".

"Ric is with Hope and Mia, and I'm under strict orders to keep you here" Dorian informed.

"If nothing happened to Hope and Mia, then why the hell are you under orders to keep us here?!" Asher asked.

"And why the hell are you researching gargoyles?!" Jayden asked, looking down at the book Dorian had opened.

Dorian quickly slammed the book shut, "No point hiding it now" Nova stated, "Just tell us what's going on Dorian, these three aren't going to leave until they know for sure that their sisters are okay".

Dorian let out a defeated sigh.

After Dorian revealed to them what happened to Mia and Hope, the three brothers rushed towards the school, while Nova was forced to stay behind by Dorian, saying if everyone left then they would never be done with community service duties.

"Mia?!" Asher called out, rushing into the boarding with the boys.

"Hope?!" Jayden called out.

"I'm going to go check the library" Alec informed, Asher and Jayden nodded their head, and the three boys quickly separated into three different directions to look for the two girls.

"What are you doing here?" Alaric asked, seeing Alec walking down the corridor, "Dorian was supposed to keep you away".

"You really think anyone could keep us away from our sister when she's in trouble?" a furious Alec asked, glaring at his headmaster, he then pulled out a small book from his back pocket and slammed it on Alaric's chest, "And take this stupid book, according to your great pal Dorian, this is killing gargoyles 101, he's hoping you could translate it".

Alaric opened the book and started reading it, "Gaulish, son of a--".

"Could you please read a bit faster?!" Alec snapped, "My sister and friend are in pain right now!".

Alaric sighed, "In a nutshell, it says hit it hard, repeat as needed" Alaric informed, just as the two heard the gargoyle's roar.

"Is that the dickhead who hurt Hope and Mia?" Alec asked.

"Yeah" Alaric confirmed, "Listen, it poisoned Mia and Hope, I'm guessing to get my attention, then it attacked me and took the knife".

"You lost the knife?!" a shocked Alec asked, "And it didn't kill you after it got it?".

"Oh, I have a theory about that" Alaric informed.

"And I don't care about your stupid theory, right now I have to find it before it figures out that the containment spell is down and tries to leave the school" Alec said.

"A containment spell?" a confused Alaric asked, before realisation hit him, "Mia and Hope wanted to make sure whatever attacked them didn't escape into the world, good girls", Alaric placed the book in his hand on the side table, he then walked over to the axe hanging on the wall and grabbed it, "All right, well, guess we better find it before it makes the evening news", Alaric walked back to Alec, "So how'd you take the containment spell down?".

Alec shrugged, "Well it wasn't easy cause it was a spell done by witches from the Connor and Mikaelson bloodline, but we managed".

"We?" a confused Alaric asked.

"We" Asher repeated, him and Jayden walking over to the duo.

"Emma?!" Alaric called out, entering the dinning room with the three boys, "Emma!".

Emma slid the double doors open, revealing herself and all the children hiding her with her, along with the paralyzed bodies of Mia and Hope, Emma put a finger on her lips, indicating the four to be quiet.

Hearing a growl, caused Asher, Alec and Jayden to turn around, their eyes landed on the gargoyle who was standing on top of the stairs, the gargoyle freed it's wings and flew down, immediately he tried to slash at Jayden, but the Mikaelson boy quickly ducked and rolled on the floor, causing the gargoyle's next target to be Alec, who didn't have enough time to dodge, but just as the gargoyle was about to stab Alec, his hand stopped mid air.

A confused Alec looked at the gargoyle, then behind him and was shocked seeing Nova standing there with her hands out.

"Hurry, I can't hold him for long!" Nova yelled.

Asher quickly jumped forward and using an axe, cut one of the gargoyle's stone wing, while Jayden cut the other.

"Fluctus inpulsa!" Nova yelled, causing the knife in the gargoyle's hand to fall to the ground.

Asher, Alec and Jayden quickly stood in a line and started chanting the same spell Nova did, eventually causing the gargoyle to shatter.

Jayden took a sigh of relief, "Great work guys".

Asher quickly rushed over to Nova, "Are you okay?".

Nova nodded her head, "I'm okay".

"You saved me" a shocked Alec realised.

Nova shrugged, "Mention not" she said, giving Alec a small smile.

"You shouldn't have come here, Nova" Asher said, "You were safe in the town square".

"I couldn't stay there knowing you guys were in danger" Nova said.

Asher shook his head, he stepped forward and pulled Nova into a hug, "Thank you" he whispered, really grateful for Nova that she saved his brother.

"Anytime" Nova whispered, hugging Asher back.

Alec looked at Nova and Asher, an unknown expression on his face.

"Alec, Ash".

Alec turned around and immediately let out a relieved laugh seeing his sister standing there with Hope, "Mia".

"Hi" Mia greeted, a huge smile on her face.

Alec and Asher immediately rushed over to their sister and hugged her, while Jayden walked over to his sister.

"Are you okay?" a worried Jayden asked Hope.

"A bit weak, but I'm okay" Hope assured.

"Thank god" Jayden said, hugging his sister, while hugging Hope, he looked towards Mia who was assuring her brothers she was fine, a relieved smile formed on Jayden's face seeing both Mia and Hope okay.

"If you'd asked me a week ago I would have told you I knew the difference between myth and fact" Alaric said, addressing all the students, with the group of friends standing on the side, Alec and Asher supporting their weak sister, while Nova and Jayden supported Hope, "I would have said that supernaturals were limited to the species under this roof, I would have said that folklore and fairy tales were just stories, but I can no longer say that any of that's true, cause just a few days ago, we were confronted by the existence of a dragon, and then, today, our campus was terrorized by a gargoyle come to life, some of us were forced to fight, we won, this time, they were drawn here by a knife that went missing earlier this week, and for whatever reason, these creatures consider us to be the enemy, in their minds, we're the villains because we won't give them what they want, we don't even know why they want it, but we're gonna find out".

"If standing here becomes too much, tell us, okay?" Asher whispered to Mia.

"Ash, I'm just a bit sore, you can stop worrying about" Mia whispered.

"We're you're older brothers Mia, we will always worry about you" Alec whispered.

"We're triplets" Mia mumbled.

"Me and Ash were still born before you" Alec said, ruffling Mia's hair, in return Mia slapped his hand away.

"I can't say for sure what their true intentions are" Alaric continued, "I can't say there won't be more attacks, that's why I'm telling you this, to warn you, to ask you to look out for each other, to do what's best for one another, because we're more than just a school, we're a family, and we will stand together, we will fight together, and we will win or lose this battle together, no matter what comes next".

Asher, Alec and Jayden entered the girls room.

"We have brought the brownies!" Jayden announced.

"You guys don't have to hover over us" Hope said, her and Mia laying in one bed.

"We absolutely do" Asher retorted, "Can't trust that you two won't get in trouble again".

"Just pass me the brownies" Mia demanded.

"Here you go your highness" Jayden teased, handing Mia the plate of brownies.

"Thank you peasant" Mia said, patting Jayden's head, making everyone laugh.

"Bunny!".

The group of six friends looked towards the door and immediately huge smiles formed on their faces seeing two familiar faces.

"Uncle Jer!" Hope, Mia and Nova yelled, rushing over and hugging the youngest Gilbert.

"April!" Asher, Alec and Jayden yelled, hugging April Young-Gilbert.

"What are you two doing here?" a confused Mia asked after breaking the hug.

"I came here to drop Landon and Rafael" Jeremy informed.

"Landon is back?" an annoyed Jayden asked.

"Not now" Nova told Jayden.

"Once we came, Ric told us about the attack on Mia and Hope and we came to make sure you two were okay" a worried Jeremy said, "Are you two okay?".

"We're perfectly fine" Hope assured, "It wasn't that big of a attack".

"The gargoyle paralyzed them" Asher informed.

"Paralyzed?!" a concerned April asked, "Why are you two standing? You need to rest, go lay on the bed".

"But we're okay" Mia assured.

"That's for us to decide, not you" Jeremy said.

Mia's eyes went wide, "Wait, no one told dad, right?".

"You think if Kol knew, he wouldn't be here by now?" Jeremy asked.

"Let's agree not to tell either of our dads anything" Hope said, "If they find out, whole of Mystic Falls will be in danger".

"And that's a bad thing, why?" Jayden asked, in response Hope simply hit the back of Jayden's head.

"Okay you two, don't start" Jeremy warned, "And Hope and Mia, in bed, now".

Mia and Hope sighed and looked at each other, both realising it's going to be a long night for them, their friends and family had officially gone into over protective mode., but the two girls weren't mad about it, they were actually very happy being surrounded by their loved ones.
