10. There's A World Where Your Dreams Came True

Asher and Hope were in Alaric's office, preparing themselves for the next monster.

"And we're sure this urn glowed again?" Asher asked, what seemed like the millionth time to Alaric.

"I sleep with the damn thing under my pillow, it's hard to miss" Alaric replied, grabbing a cross bow.

"What do you think it's gonna be this time?" a curious Hope asked, "Cyclops? Slender Man? Santa?".

"Since when is Santa a monster?" Asher asked his best friend.

"I don't know" Hope said, "I mean, Santa Claus is kind of terrifying when you think about it, breaks into your home, he sees you when you're sleeping, not to mention, judge-y".

"Hope, Asher, I need you two to focus" Alaric stated.

"We are" Asher defended.

"He is, I'm trying" Hope corrected, "I just wish that Satan's nightlight would give us some rest".

"Agreed" Asher said.

"And I wish that knife was never in our school to begin with, but it's not like we can change that now" Alaric said, "All we can do is make sure we're not blindsided by another monster waltzing through our doors".

Suddenly the doors to Alaric's office opened and Lizzie and Josie walked in.

"And here comes the monster" Asher mumbled, looking at Lizzie, Hope, who heard him, slapped his shoulder in warning.

"Oh, god" Alaric mumbled, "Uh, girls, what are you doing here? You're not supposed to get in until tonight".

"Mom was able to get us direct into Dulles" Lizzie informed, glaring at her father, "Then faxed, texted and e-mailed you our revised itinerary".

Alaric let out a guilty sigh, "I am so sorry" he apologized, "It's chaos around here".

"It's okay, dad" Josie quickly said before her sister could say something hurtful to their father, "We know that you're overwhelmed, but Europe was amazing, and seeing mom was really good".

A slightly bitter Asher turned to Hope, "I can't believe Beks took these two to Europe and we were left here to fight monsters" he whispered.

"It was their scheduled yearly trip, don't be bitter" Hope reminded, making sure the twins couldn't hear them.

"I'm not bitter, I just feel bad for Nova whose mother clearly prefers her surrogate kids over her real daughter" Asher said.

Hope looked at Asher in confusion, "Okay first of all, don't say that infront of Nova, ever, second of all, why are you upset with Aunt Rebekah today?".

Asher let out a sigh, "I'm not upset with Beks, today is just not a good day for me".

"Did something happen?" a worried Hope asked.

"Not yet" Asher admitted, "But I feel like something is about to happen".

Hope opened her mouth to assure her best friend that nothing bad was going to happen today, but before she could, Lizzie interrupted her, "Jo's covered the bright side" she said, bringing the two best friends back to the main conversation, "Far less sunny was waiting for you in the chilly dark of morning at the terminal and you not showing up".

"In his defense, we've been in crisis mode around here" Hope informed.

"Oh, we've heard all about it" Lizzie said, she glared at Asher, "Asher got bamboozled by one of the monsters and now only two keys separate the entire supernatural community from being consumed by a hell portal, I'm guessing that weird little vase is one of them".

"It's an urn, genius" Asher snapped, his hands clenched into tight fists, he didn't like to fail, but when he failed, he did not like to get reminded about it.

"I don't care what it is" Lizzie snapped back, "I care that instead of being welcomed at the airport, we were forced to take a three-hour shuttle ride that smelled like an open sewer, and feet, thanks a lot, Asher! Way to ruin life for the rest of us".

"Grow the hell up Lizzie!" Asher snapped, "You just came back from a trip to Europe while the rest of us were stuck here fighting for our lives and your biggest concern is the fact that you rode in a shuttle?! You know what Elizabeth, and I still can't believe you have the name of my grandmother, which you clearly don't deserve".

"You--".

"I am not done!" Asher yelled, taking a step towards Lizzie, who in turn flinched and took a step back from the clearly furious Salvatore, "As I was saying, it's not me whose ruining the lives of everyone, it's you, because trust me, we were all doing so much better before you came, yes we were dealing with monsters, but at least we were free of you and your annoying judgement!".

Before anyone could stop him, a furious Asher stormed out of Alaric's office, while Hope gave a clearly hurt Lizzie an apologetic look, everyone knew that when Asher was having one of his bad days, it was in everyone best interest to stay clear of him, the only person who he will listen to in one of his moods is his dad, Kol Mikaelson, but he wasn't here currently and right now, anyone who even dared to look in his direction, you became Asher's target and that's exactly what happened to Lizzie.

Asher stormed into his dorm room, after locking the door behind him, a furious Asher paced back and forth in the room, "Breathe" he whispered to himself, "Remember what Uncle Elijah said, don't let your anger control you", Asher took deep breaths to calm himself down but it didn't work, suddenly Asher let out a loud yell and punched the full length mirror placed by his bed, "God, I hate her! I wish Lizzie Saltzman had never come to this school!", just as Asher said that, a jinni suddenly appeared behind him, shocking the oldest Salvatore who looked at it with his eyes wide open in shock, "What the hell are you?!".

"First things first, I'm--".

"Blue" Asher interrupted, "Why are you so blue?".

"My name is Ablah".

Realization suddenly drew on Asher, "You're the new monster".

"Would a monster grant your wish?" Ablah asked.

"Oh, that's why you're blue, it's because you're a jinni" Asher connected.

"Jinni" Ablah corrected Asher's pronunciation, "And your wish is my command".

Asher watched as Ablah brought her two fingers together, "No wait, I didn't--", but before Asher could stop Ablah from fulfilling his wish, Ablah had clicked her two fingers together and suddenly both Asher and the jinni were poofed out of the boys shared room.

Asher, who was peacefully sleeping on his bed, was suddenly woken up when he heard someone rapidly knocking on his door, "Asher!", after banging on Asher's door loudly, the person opened the door and entered his room, "Rise and shine, brother of mine!".

Asher let out an annoyed groan, he grabbed his pillow from under his head and placed it over his face, "Go away Alec!".

"Don't tell me the fighter Asher Salvatore is taking a day off today" Alec teased his brother.

Asher removed the pillow from his face, he used his elbows to prop himself up, "First of all, since when are you so cheery in the morning? And second of, you won't believe the type of dream I just had".

"Stop stalling Asher, I don't want to hear about your dream, I want to fight" Alec stated.

"I'm not fighting with you" Asher stated, "My fighting partner is Hope, she's the only one I will practice fight with".

A confused expression formed on Alec's face, "Who the hell is Hope?".

Asher looked at his brother in shock, "Alec, don't joke about this, you know who Hope is" he said, sitting up properly in his bed.

"I'm not joking Ash, I really don't know who Hope is, now come Lizzie is waiting for us at the dock" Alec said.

"Lizzie?" an extremely confused Asher asked, "Why will Lizzie be waiting for us?".

"Maybe cause she is the love of your life who spars with you every morning" Alec revealed, "Ash, you seriously need to stop taking those herbs Josie gives you, I think they're starting to have an effect on your brain, now hurry up and get out of bed before Lizzie storms in here herself".

Once Alec had walked out of them room, a shocked Asher sat there trying to register everything his brother had just told him, he was in love with Lizzie and Hope didn't exist.

"What have I gotten myself into this time?" Asher mumbled.

Asher leaned against a tree and watched his brother and Lizzie, two mortal enemies, practice sparring as if they were the bestest of friends.

"I'm too good Alec, you might as well give up now" Lizzie teased.

"Stop bragging, you haven't won yet" Alec reminded.

"Lizzie, go high" Nova said, walking over and standing next to Asher.

"Hey, you can't team up against me" Alec told Nova, Lizzie using Alec's moment of distraction to her advantage quickly overpowered him, she used the stick to throw him to the proud, Alec laid on the ground, chuckling, "Nice going Lizzie, really proud of you".

"Same, looks like the years of training is really doing you wonders Lizzie" Nova praised, before walking over Alec, she forwarded her hand towards him, the middle Salvatore smiled and gladly placed his hand in hers and let Nova pull him up, the moment Nova had pulled Alec up, Alec placed his hands on Nova's waist and pulled her into him before placing his lips on hers.

"What in the world?!" a shocked Asher yelled, his yell causing Alec and Nova to separate and look at him on confusion, wondering what the hell happened to him.

 "Babe, what's wrong?" Lizzie asked, walking over to Asher and placing her hand on his shoulder.

Asher immediately removed Lizzie's hand from his shoulder, he did not like her touch, he then turned to his brother, ignoring the hurt face of Lizzie, "You and Nova? Since when?!".

"Uh since always" Alec said, putting his arms around his girlfriend's shoulders.

"Actually it's been two years" Nova informed, before placing a kiss on Alec's kiss, making a huge smile form on his face, she then turned to Asher, "And why are you pretending like you didn't know about us? You were the one who pushed us together".

"Why the hell will I do that?!" Asher snapped, running his hand through his hair in frustration.

"Yeah I'm telling you Lizzie, keep your sister away from your boyfriend, her stupid witchy herbs are really starting to mess with his head" Alec told a worried Lizzie.

"Stop calling me a drug addict!" Asher yelled.

"Ash, relax" Lizzie said, quickly grabbing Asher's arm before he could attack his brother.

"Okay, today is clearly not your day Ash, just go get dressed, you, Alec and Mia need to give a tour in ten minutes" Nova informed.

"Now I'm a tour guide as well?!" Asher asked.

"Of course you're a tour guide, it's our school, idiot" Alec snapped, starting to get really annoyed with his brother's behavior.

"Guys please don't fight infront of this new recruit" Lizzie warned, "We really need to recruit him".

"Relax Lizzie Bear, we've got this" Alec assured.

"Lizzie Bear?" a disgusted Asher mumbled, "Oh my god, I'm going to lose my mind".

Asher ripped his hand from Lizzie's hold before storming away from the trio, afraid the longer he stayed here, the more crazy he will turn.

Asher ended up being forced by both his brother and sister to join the tour guide, and though he had no interest what so ever, he also knew he couldn't win against both Mia and Alec so he let them drag him to meet the new recruit, who to his shock, turned out to be Jed.

"Welcome to the Salvatore School" Alec greeted, while Asher looked at him in wonder, since when did Alec Salvatore talk to people in a polite manner.

"We're your tour guides" Mia informed, "I'm Mia".

"I'm Alec" Alec introduced.

Mia and Alec turned to their brother and gestured for him to introduce himself, having no choice, Asher let out an annoyed sigh, before turning to Jed, "And I'm Asher" he said, wanting to puke, this sounded so much like Lizzie and Josie's speech and he hated it.

"Siblings" Alec informed an overwhelmed Jed.

"Triplets" Mia clarified, "Fraternal triplets, which is blatantly obvious, now come on, we'll show you around our incredible school", Mia looped her arm with Jed's, "First things first, you don't have to worry about making friends, everybody gets along with everybody in here".

"Mostly" Alec added, as Mia led Jed inside the school, Alec followed.

"Oh dear lord end this nightmare soon please" Asher pleaded, looking up at the sky before following after his siblings.

"The wolves here like to stay in their own pack" Alec informed, while Asher wondered if Jayden was the alpha in this new reality, he was worried that since Hope didn't exist here, his best friend wouldn't either.

Alec, Mia, Asher and Jed entered the common room, "What in the hell happened here?" a shocked Asher said, looking around the very disgusting common room that was full of dust and cob webs and rubbish.

"This place is a turd stain" Jed commented.

Asher glared at Jed but what surprised him was when his brother didn't say anything just gave Jed a sheepish smile, Alec could never tolerate anyone say anything against this school because it was a school made in honor of their parents but right now he wasn't saying anything, instead he was smiling, something Asher didn't know his brother even knew how to do.

"The maintenance staff is on holiday" Mia lied, she knew if they wanted Jed to stay, they were going to have to say a few lies.

"Now that we've seen the common room, let's introduce you to your new pack" Alec said.

"Okay" an awkward Jed mumbled.

"Let's go Ash" Alec said.

Asher looked at his brother in confusion, "Go where?".

"To the pack" Alec stated.

"Okay" Asher said, "But where's the pack again?", Alec glared at his brother and ended up storming on his feet, "Ow! What was that for?".

"Oh look there's the pack" Mia quickly said before her brothers could start fighting.

Asher looked infront of him and his eyes went wide in shock when he saw who was walking towards them, "Hey Jed, I'm Luis", Luis forwarded his hand towards Jed, "Your alpha".

And that answered Asher's question about whether or not Jayden was here.

Asher sat with his siblings on the very dusty couches in the common, glaring at the disgusting food he was just handed to eat.

"Do you think Jed will like our school?" a worried Mia asked her two brothers, glancing at Jed who was talking to Luis.

Alec let out a sigh, "I have no idea Mia, you know how hard it is to get people to stay".

"If people have to eat this shit for breakfast, no wonder they aren't staying" Asher commented, slamming his bowl on to the table, "What happened to the pastries and Belgian waffles? And what about the smoothie station?!".

Alec and Mia stared at Asher as if he has lost his mind, Alec turned to his sister, "Like I said, the drugs are finally starting to make him lose his mind".

"I will kill you!" Asher snapped, glaring at his brother.

"Relax Ash, don't get hyper" Mia warned, "And you know we can't afford pastries or Belgian waffles and definitely not a smoothie station, we can hardly afford to pay for gas".

"Pause" a shocked Asher said, "Is the Salvatore Boarding School, broke?".

"We're not broke you idiot but it's not easy to run this place" Alec said, "It's been really hard for Ric to get benefactors, I mean Aunt Rebekah and Uncle Enzo have been really generous but they have their own lives that they need to take of as well".

"Holy shit" Asher mumbled, slowly connecting the dots, if Hope and Jayden didn't exist, then their family didn't exist either, which means the Salvatore Boarding House never got the support of the full Mikaelson family, "I need some air".

Asher quickly stood up from the couch and rushed outside, once he was sure he was out of everyone's sight, he frantically started looking around, "Genie?! Show yourself you stupid genie! I know all of this is your doing!".

"Has anyone told you that you need anger management classes?" Ablah the genie said, appearing behind Asher.

"What the hell did you do?!" Asher asked.

"I did what you asked me to do" Ablah stated.

"Okay first of all, I didn't want you to grant me any wishes, I didn't want any of this!" Asher yelled, "And second of all, if you were gonna grant my wish, why not grant them properly? I wished for Lizzie to have never come here, but instead my two best friends are gone!".

"I told you I fulfil wishes, I never said I fulfil them exactly how you want them to be" Ablah defended.

"But that's what genie's do!" Asher snapped.

"Jinni" Ablah corrected.

"Did I speak spanish?!" Asher asked, "Now send me back to my reality!".

"Yeah, no can do" Ablah said.

"Why the hell not?!" an annoyed Asher asked.

"Because I don't want to" Ablah said, "Now come on Salvatore, learn to enjoy your present time instead of focusing so much on the past".

Before Asher could say anything, Ablah clicked her fingers and the oldest Salvatore was transported outside Alaric's office.

"Stupid, stupid genie" a furious Asher mumbled, just as Alaric's voice filled his ears.

"I know, Rebekah" a guilty Alaric said, "I am sorry I sent you on a fool's errand to Idaho, but this is an inexact science and we only have so much to go on, we'll find new recruits, I promise".

Asher entered Alaric's office and he was shocked seeing Lizzie and Josie sitting there with a bunch of newspaper and cutting out the news that resembled anything supernatural.

"Oh dear god" Asher whispered, "This is how you guys find new recruits?".

"Why are you acting so weird today?" a confused Lizzie asked, placing the newspaper and scissors down before standing up and walking over to Asher, before the oldest Salvatore could react, she had wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss, "I miss the normal you".

"None of this is normal" Asher snapped, removing Lizzie's arms from around his neck.

"Ash--".

"If you wanna recruit people, this isn't the way" Asher told Lizzie.

"You have a better idea?" Josie asked.

Asher suddenly remembered something, he looked at Josie, "As a matter of fact, I do have a better idea".

Since the genie told Asher to live in the present and not the past, Asher figured if he at least pretended to be interested in this horrible reality, the genie will decide to send him back to his time, he knew it was a huge stretch but he had no other plan, so this was the plan he was going to work towards, at least for now.

"What the hell is that?" a confused Lizzie asked her boyfriend as he wheeled in a huge globe into the common room where Lizzie, Josie and Alaric stood.

"It's a globe" Asher informed, resisting the urge to roll his eyes.

"Where did you get that?" a confused Josie asked.

"It was in the archive room" Asher replied.

"We don't have an archive room" Alaric pointed out.

"Yes I realised that the moment I went inside, apparently now it's a storage closet, I'm just glad I found what I was looking for" Asher said, wheeling the huge global over to the Saltzman family, "This is the solution to all your problems, to put it in words you will understand basically it's an interactive locator spell, the moment a supernatural being awakens their powers, this globe will light up and tell us where they are".

"That's incredible" Alaric praised, "How do you know how to do this?".

"I used a spell an incredible witch once taught me" Asher informed, his mind going to Hope and really hoping he will see her again.

"What witch?" a jealous Lizzie asked.

Asher shook his head, "No one you know, now go ahead, spin it".

Alaric span the globe that immediately lit up, once it stopped spinning Alaric looked at the many golden dots across the map in fascination, "There's so many of them".

"All waiting for us to come to their rescue, daddy" an excited Lizzie said.

"Oh, well, there" Alaric pointed.

"The bigger the glow is, the more powerful the person is" Asher informed.

"Well, then we need to bring these two in immediately" Alaric stated.

"Yeah, they're huge, where is that?" a confused Josie asked.

Asher walked over to see what Josie was looking at and his eyes went wide in shock when he realised where these two glows were coming from, "New Orleans" he whispered, hope rising in his heart.

Alaric decided to send Asher, Lizzie and Alec to grab the recruits, the moment the trio entered the bar in New Orleans, they were shocked seeing so many dead bodies, the jazz trumpet that was playing suddenly stopped when the person's head ripped from his and rolled over to the trio's feet.

"Gross" Lizzie cried, hiding behind her boyfriend.

But Asher wasn't paying attention to her, he was looking at the girl infront of him, the girl who was too busy eating people to notice him, ignoring Lizzie's protest, Asher took a step towards her, "Hope".

Hope stopped eating and dropped her victim to the ground before turning to face Asher, "Who the hell are you and how do you know my name?".

"That's what I'd like to know" Lizzie said, glaring at Asher.

"You don't remember me" a hurt Asher mumbled.

"Is she supposed to?" Jayden asked, walking out of the shadows and over to his sister while cleaning his bloody mouth.

"I sure as hell hoped so" Asher mumbled.

"Okay I don't know you and I don't want to know you" Hope stated, that hurt Asher much more then it should have, "You need to leave unless you want to be dessert".

"Hope, Jayden, look I know that you two don't know me, but I know you and I know this all is really weird but I can help you, I know what you two are feeling, you just got to trust me, please let me help" Asher pleaded, not wanting to see his best friends go down a path they couldn't return from.

Josie and Lizzie stood by the decks, watching Asher and Hope spar while Jayden and Mia took a walk around the lake and Alec and Nova sat near the lake laughing amongst themselves.

"Asher really saved the day" Josie told Lizzie, who was glaring at Hope, "Look at him, all of a sudden he looks so happy".

Lizzie glared at her sister, "Are you saying he wasn't happy with me?".

Josie looked at her sister then at Asher and Hope, "Not like that he wasn't, anyways, we have a couple of tours later today, now that we have two tribrids, we're in the game for real".

"You and your brother belong here, Hope" Asher said, while blocking Hope's punch, "This place is mine and my siblings home, now it can be yours and Jayden's as well".

"I can't stay" Hope stated, "I've done so many awful things".

"Which one of us hasn't?" Asher asked, "Trust me Hope, whatever happened, it wasn't your fault, you just didn't have friends who could help you, if you stay here, I promise I won't let you go down a dark path, I'll help you in anyway I can".

"Why?" a confused Hope asked, "Why are you so determined to help me, Asher?".

Asher shrugged his shoulder, "I don't know maybe cause you remind me of my best friend".

"Where is your best friend now?" a curious Hope asked.

"I don't know" Asher replied, "But I'm hoping to find her one day, so, will you stay? This school needs you", Asher resisted the urge to say that he needs her as well.

Hope stared at Asher for a moment, before she lunged forward and wrapped her arms around Asher's neck, the oldest Salvatore didn't waste a second in wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging the Mikaelson tribrid as tightly as he could, afraid that if he let go, she will disappear.

A furious and extremely jealous Lizzie stood there, glaring at Hope for touching her boyfriend, "God, I wish there was never a Salvatore School to begin with that way Asher and Hope would never meet and Asher would be just mine".

Josie let out a sigh, "Unfortunately that will always just be a wish, Lizzie".

Unknow to both Lizzie and Josie, currently the jinni Ablah was standing behind the two sisters, no one being able to see her as she was invisible but she had heard Lizzie's wish, and a smirk formed on her face, she didn't care who made a wish, all she cared about were the words, I wish.

"Your wish is my command" Ablah said, looking at Lizzie, she then looked at Asher, and clicked her fingers together.

Asher's eyes shot open and immediately he heard Alaric's voice, "Now, remember, if anybody starts messing with you, just play it cool".

An extremely confused Asher looked around and realised he was in the back of Alaric's car, with Lizzie stuck to his side and Josie sitting in the passenger's seat.

"Don't worry dad, we know" Josie assured her worried dad, as her parked the car at Mystic Falls High School, "No magic allowed, blah, blah, blah".

"What the hell is happening" an extremely confused Asher mumbled wondering how the hell did he end up from the deck to the back of Alaric's car.

"What happens everyday Ash" an annoyed Lizzie said, "Dad is giving us a lecture on not to use our magic and expose ourselves".

"I hate to sound like a broken record, but if you expose your powers--".

"You risk becoming a target" Josie finished.

"Alright you three, we'll see you in class" Alaric said.

"Wait" Asher said, gaining the attention of the trio, "Where the hell are my siblings?".

Josie rolled her eyes in annoyance, "This joke is getting really old, Ash".

"What joke?" a confused Asher asked, but no one said anything to him, just stepped out of the car, Asher quickly rushed after Lizzie, "Wait Lizzie, seriously, what joke did I say?".

"Come on Ash, you know what you said" Lizzie said, looping her arm with Asher's as they entered the gym together.

"I really don't" Asher stated.

"Ash, you know you, Alec and Mia don't get along, that's the reason you live with us and Alec lives with Uncle Jer, and Mia with Aunt Jenna" Lizzie reminded.

A shocked Asher suddenly stopped walking, "Wait, me and my siblings are separated and we hate each other?!".

Lizzie let out an annoyed sigh, "Baby, is it one of your off days today?".

"Don't call me baby and just answer my damn question" Asher snapped, "Wait, how could Care Bear let this happen?".

"Who?" a confused Lizzie asked.

"Care Bear" Asher repeated, "Caroline Forbes? Oh god, please tell me she exists".

"Uh Ash, we don't know a Caroline Forbes" Lizzie revealed.

"And suddenly it all makes sense" a bitter Asher mumbled, "If she existed, she would have never let us three separate".

"Okay Ash, I really need you to pull yourself together baby" Lizzie said, stepping closer to the oldest Salvatore, "We can't have people thinking that the homecoming king has lost his mind".

Before Asher could say anything, Lizzie leaned forward and placed her lips on top of Asher's, after breaking the kiss she gave Asher a smile and then walked away from him.

Once Lizzie was gone, Asher immediately wiped his lips in disgust, "Eww, eww, eww", Asher started looking around, "Jinni, I know all of this is your doing and I swear to god, the moment I see you, I'm going to murder you!".

A furious Asher entered a empty classroom, after locking the door, he started looking around the empty classroom, "Jinni! Show me your face now!".

"What do you want now?" Ablah the jinni asked, appearing behind Asher.

"What the hell did you do?" Asher asked, glaring at Ablah, "Why did you change my reality again, I didn't even make a wish".

"You didn't, but your girlfriend did" Ablah said.

"Which girlfriend?" Asher asked, "The real one, or the fake one?".

"Well you don't have a real girlfriend, you and Nova broke up, remember?" Ablah reminded.

"For someone who just came, you sure know a lot" Asher taunted.

"You have no idea how much I know" Ablah said, "Anyways, your girlfriend Lizzie wished that the Salvatore school never existed so I decided to grant it".

"Why the hell would Lizzie wish that?!" an extremely angry Asher asked.

"Because she was jealous seeing you and Hope and she thought if the Salvatore school didn't exist, you and Hope and the bond you share between you two, wouldn't exist" Ablah informed.

"There is not a reality in which that would ever happen" Asher snapped, "Me and Hope will always meet".

"Technically, Alec and Nova are the destined ones" Ablah clarified.

"I'm sorry what?!" a shocked Asher asked.

"Forget it, that's a long story that you are not allowed to know, not yet anyways" Ablah said, "Anyways, just for the record, I can't lie, everything you are experiencing is, in fact, a potential reality that has occurred as a direct result of Lizzie's wish".

"But that is Lizzie's wish, not mine" Asher argued, "Why would you listen to her?".

"I listen to anyone who says the magic words, I wish" Ablah informed, "This world does make sense, when you think about it, the Mikaelson's built the Salvatore School so you and your siblings could thrive, you and your siblings were born of a very powerful bloodline, known for its tragic love stories, so they built a safe place to shield you guys from your darkest impulses, and then Lizzie and wished that the Salvatore school didn't exist, meaning the Mikaelson's were never in your life, meaning after your parents death, there was no one to raise you and your siblings, there was no one to protect you, no one to stop you three from falling apart, from growing distant".

"No one who we could call our family" Asher whispered.

"Exactly" Ablah said.

After their talk Ablah suddenly disappeared into thin air, annoying Asher immensely, currently a furious Asher walked out of the school, but he suddenly stopped in his step once his eyes landed on his brother, leaning against a car, making out with Nova.

Asher wondered how was it that Hope and Jayden weren't with them but Nova was, suddenly he remembered Ablah's words, Alec and Nova are the destined ones.

"This is becoming too much" Asher said, not wanting to think about Ablah's words too much, knowing if he did, he will just end up losing his mind, so instead he just walked towards the duo, hoping to talk to his brother and solve whatever problem was between them, "Alec".

Hearing the familiar voice of his brother caused Alec to separate from his girlfriend while letting out an annoyed groan, "What do you want Asher?".

"I just want to talk" Asher said.

Alec scoffed, "Are you sure your girlfriend won't mind?".

"This isn't about Lizzie, it's about us" Asher said, "Look you're my brother Alec and I can't have us being on bad terms".

Alec glared at his brother, "Now you remember that we're brothers, did you forget all the times your girlfriend call both me and Mia crazy and you stayed quiet?".

"Alec--".

"I call you two crazy because you two are crazy" Lizzie snapped, walking over to the brothers, "Ash, what are you doing with him? Let's go!".

Lizzie grabbed Asher's arm and tried to pull him away from Alec but Asher ripped his arm from her hold, "Just stop!" a furious Asher yelled, really hating Lizzie right now, "Stop making things worse for me Lizzie, I'm trying to fix things here, please just for once in your life stop ruining everything!".

"I'm ruining everything?!" a teary eyed Lizzie asked, "Ash, I'm just trying to protect you".

"Really?", the group of four turned around and saw a furious Mia standing there, "Are you really trying to protect Asher, Lizzie? Or are you trying isolate him from everyone so he has no one but you?".

"Yeah, isn't it because of you that Asher and Alec had the fight" Nova reminded.

"Shut up Nova!" Lizzie yelled.

A furious Alec quickly stood infront of her girlfriend, "Don't talk to her in that tone".

"You don't talk to me that tone!" Lizzie snapped.

"Why shouldn't I?" Alec asked, "The only reason I spared you Lizzie was because I knew my brother loved you but now it's clear that even he realises you are horrible for him, so don't get on my bad side cause now there's nothing stopping me from making your life a living hell".

"Shut up, Alec!" Lizzie yelled, not realising that her magic was starting to flair as the wind around the group picked up, she had siphoned magic from her dad's watch, "Asher loves me, he will always love me!", a panicked and hysterical Lizzie turned to her boyfriend, "Right Ash? You love me right? It's always going to be us, we don't need anyone else, not even Alec and Mia".

Asher grabbed Lizzie by her arms and lightly pushed her away from him, "They're my siblings Lizzie, I don't need you, but I need them".

Before Lizzie could say anything to him, Asher grabbed his bag from the floor and started to walk away from her, "No" Lizzie cried, Mia and Alec looked at each other before they decided to go after their brother and smiling Nova also followed after them, "Wait Asher, please just wait, Ash", when Asher didn't wait, Lizzie let out a yell, "Stop!", as soon as Lizzie screamed, all the glass on the cars around them started shattering, immediately causing the group of four to duck and take cover, with Alec covering Nova and Asher covering his sister.

Once the magic stopped, the group of stood up and turned to look at Lizzie in shock, however before they could say anything, their attention went towards the black sports car that just entered the parking lot.

"Holy" a fascinated Asher whispered, the moment he saw Hope step out the car along with her brother and Caleb, Jed and Pedro.

"Looks like you guys could use some help" Hope said.

"Uh-uh, no, we are all good" Lizzie snapped, hating the way Asher was looking at Hope, like she was the very thing he was waiting for.

"That M" Mia said, looking at the M painted on the black sports car, she then looked at Jayden, "You're from the Mikaelson boarding school, aren't you?".

Jayden smirked at Mia, "Yes we are love, and we're here to rescue you".

"Kaleb, compel the students to forget what they've seen" Hope ordered.

"On it" Kaleb said, walking over to all the human students to make sure they don't remember Lizzie's little out burst.

"Jed, establish a perimeter and lock this whole school down" Jayden said.

"Copy" Jed said, walking away to do what Jayden wanted.

"Pedro, call in the chopper" Hope said.

"Green light, Maverick" Pedro said, speaking into his earpiece.

"I said that we're good" Lizzie snapped, "Okay? We do not want to be superheroes".

"And who said we care about your opinion?" Jayden asked, "We're not here for you".

"We're here for them" Hope said, gesturing towards Asher, Alec, Mia and Nova.

"Oh this is gonna be fun" Alec mumbled, before all of them walked over to Hope and Jayden, and to their dismay Lizzie also followed, refusing to let them leave with her and Josie.

"Make yourselves at home" Hope said, as the group entered the Mikaelson boarding school.

"This place is so cool" a fascinated Mia whispered, looking around in awe, unaware that a certain Mikaelson was admiring her every move.

"Perhaps you've heard mine and Jayden's father had a checkered past" Hope said, "But when he had us, things changed, there wasn't a school he could send someone like us to, so he and my mom built this one, and as you can see, it's been quite the success, so much so that he's currently overseas establishing our European branch".

"Why did you want us to come here?" a curious Alec asked.

"Because you're the Salvatore's" Jayden said, "We've heard about you from our mother, she's been dying to meet you three".

"Really?" an excited Asher asked, wondering if he will meet his Care Bear.

"Why?" Mia asked at the same time as her brother.

"My mother had a best friend, actually they weren't best friends, they were sisters, but when mom moved to New Orleans where she met out dad, her and her best friend lost contact, and the next time she heard from her, it was the news of her death" Hope informed.

"Who was your mother's best friend?" a confused Alec asked, wondering what did any of this have to do with them.

"Aria Connor" Jayden revealed, making Mia and Alec's eyes go wide in shock while Asher tried really hard not to show his excitement on his face.

"Awesome" Asher whispered, making Hope look at him, and the moment their eyes locked a smile formed on both their faces, "Hey, I'm Asher".

Hope looked at Asher's hand, after a moment she placed her hand in his and shook it, "I'm Hope".

"Nice to meet you, Hope" Asher smiled.

"You too Asher" Hope whispered.

Lizzie, who was standing at a distant from the group, glared at Hope for touching her boyfriend, she wasn't stupid, she had seen the way Asher looked at Hope, it was the way she wished he looked at her, "God, I wish Hope Mikaelson was never born".

Ablah who was standing next to Lizzie in her invisible form, smirked hearing Lizzie's wish, "Your wish is my command" she whispered, before clicking her fingers together and once again changing Asher's reality.

"Hey" Kaleb said, shaking Asher awake who was sleeping on a bus stop, "Hey, what's your name", Asher opened his eyes and was immediately confused seeing himself in what looked like a dystopian world, "Sun's almost down, we can't stay here".

"Patrols will be out soon, we got to move" Jed said, announcing his presence to the very confused Salvatore.

"What the hell is happening now?" an annoyed Asher asked, realising this was another one of Ablah the jinni's tricks.

Kaleb let out a scoff, "Damn, white boy, Mystic Falls, you said your guardian could help us get out of here, maybe down to Mexico".

"Dr. Saltzman is your guardian, right?" Jed asked, "And you know where to find him?".

Asher didn't say anything to Jed, he was too busy looking at the wanted posters of Rafael and Emma stuck behind them, posters that had their eyes scratched out.

"Why are their eyes scratched out?" a curious Asher asked.

Kaleb let out a sigh, "Because they're finally free".

"Hey, come on" Jed said.

"Death is better than being hunted by Triad until you starve, bruh" Kaleb said, as Asher's eyes landed on another poster that had a picture of his father, Kol Mikaelson and it said that he was wanted dead or alive, his eyes then landed on a another poster that said have you seen a supernatural, call triad now.

"Speaking of" Jed said, his eyes landing on some triad members, "It's time to bounce, okay, lead the way, buddy", though Asher was completely confused as to what was happening, he stood up and walked out the bus stop, "I hope the supernatural railroad isn't just a fairy tale".

Asher ended up leading Jed and Kaleb to the Salvatore boarding house, the Salvatore boarding house that looked extremely rundown, the trio entered a room where they saw a group of supernaturals mourning someone.

"Welcome to the Resistance" a teary eyed Nova welcomed, once her eyes landed on Jed and Kaleb, "I wish it could have been under better circumstances", the moment Nova's eyes landed on Asher, the tears were immediately replaced with anger, "How dare you show your face here?!".

"Nova, what's going on?" a confused Asher asked, wondering why was Nova so angry with him.

"Just get the hell out of here Asher before I do something that I will definitely not regret" Nova warned.

"Nova, if you don't tell me what's wrong then I can't fix it" Asher pointed out.

"This isn't something that can be fixed!" Nova yelled, just as Asher's eyes landed on the coffin behind Nova.

"Whose coffin is that?" a suddenly very scared Asher asked.

"You are disgusting" Nova spat, just as two sets of footsteps were heard.

Asher turned around and saw Alaric and Mia entering the room, "Mia" he whispered, taking a step towards his sister, who immediately held her hand out.

"Don't come near me" Mia snapped, glaring at Asher with the same amount of hate Nova had.

Alaric let out a sigh, "Asher, you know you can't be here".

"And why's that?" an extremely confused Asher asked, as Alaric started to lead him out of the room, "And why do Nova and Mia hate me?".

"You ran away" Alaric informed, leading Asher to his office, "I've been worried sick, looking for you".

"What did I do?" a scared Asher asked, "I would only run away if I did something that made it impossible for me to face everyone, so what is it that I did, Ric?".

"You don't remember anything" Alaric realised, "Must be some sort of amnesia triggered by the trauma".

"Trauma?" a confused Asher asked.

"It doesn't matter now" Alaric said, "All that matters is that you're home, not that we can stay much longer", Alaric looked down at a map, "Triad's closing in every day".

Asher grabbed a newspaper that had the faces of Klaus Mikaelson and Caroline Forbes with the headline, enemies of the state, "Everyone knows about us?" a shocked Asher asked Alaric.

"You've forgotten more than I thought" Alaric concluded, "The Mikaelsons lost everything that anchored them to their humanity, and so they shut if off two years ago and started a war, outed supernaturals in the process, and just like that, triad had an ugly, racist platform to stand on, and nothing's been safe ever since".

Asher suddenly remembered something, he looked at Alaric, "I saw Nova, I saw Mia, but I didn't see Alec, where is he?", immediately Alaric looked away from Asher, "Alaric, where the hell is my brother?!".

"He's dead, Asher" Alaric revealed, "The vigil's for him".

Asher looked at Alaric wide eyed, he stepped back in shock as tears started pooling in his eyes, "No, no, no, this can't be happening, this isn't supposed to happen".

"I know" Alaric whispered, "I know, but, right now, you just need to get some sleep".

"No" Asher said, shaking his head, "No, I have to fix this, I have to save my brother, I can't lose him as well, this world isn't real, Alec isn't really gone" a panicked Asher started looking around, "Ablah?! Ablah?! Where the hell are you?!".

"Asher, please!" Alaric yelled.

"Three worlds, three realities" Asher suddenly realised, "Third wish, this was the last wish, but I didn't wish two of the wishes, surely I can take this back, I have to be able to fix this, I have to!".

"Mia!" Alaric called out, "Mia!".

Mia quickly rushed into Alaric's office and blew a powder into Asher's face that immediately caused him to fall unconscious.

When Asher woke up again, he realised this time he was locked in one of the transitional cells with Ablah the jinni sitting infront of him.

"What the hell did you do?!" Asher snapped, glaring at the jinni.

"I just fulfilled Lizzie's wish" Ablah defended.

"Which was what exactly?!" Asher asked.

"That Hope Mikaelson never been born" Ablah informed.

"Shitting hell" a frustrated Asher whispered, hiding his face in his hands.

"Don't be so hard on yourself, even if your sister and former girlfriend did just lock you up in a cellar for your own safety" Ablah said, "Third wish is always tricky, better luck on your next one".

Asher looked at Ablah in shock, "Wait, did you just say my next wish? I still have more wishes left?".

"Whoever told you a jinni only grant three?" Ablah asked, "A jinni can grant or ignore any wish they choose, we won't work against our self-interest, so you can forget about wishing me dead, but if you'd like another wish to reset your life right back to where we began, I can do that, on one condition".

"Which is what?" Asher asked, having a feeling whatever Jinni wanted it wasn't something he could easily afford.

"You give me the urn" Ablah said.

"Screw you!" Asher snapped, "I can't give you the urn and you know that!".

"Then I can't grant you another wish" Ablah stated.

"You screwed me over!" Asher yelled, "The last two wishes weren't even mine!".

"Like you said, I'm a monster, should've trusted your gut" Ablah taunted.

"Do you even realise what you've done?!" Asher yelled.

"The urn is a small price to cease suffering like this" Ablah negotiated.

"You don't get to talk about suffering!" Asher snapped, "You know nothing about it!".

"Don't I?" Ablah asked, "As all jinn are, I was born into five centuries of suffering, five hundred years of realizing other people's dreams before I'd ever have the chance to pursue one of my own, and in the four hundred and ninety nineth year of my term, I crossed paths with a true monster, and it consumed me, sent me to a place of total isolation, utter damnation".

"Malivore" Asher realised.

"I wandered there, lost and lone, until I was given one final chance to win my freedom" Ablah revealed, "So accept my offer and wish me the urn".

"I can't wish you the urn, if I do that's giving you the second key to a upcoming supernatural apocalypse!" Asher argued, "Shouldn't that be against your self-interest?".

"Quite the opposite" Ablah retorted, "It's my only hope, because if I return the urn to malivore, then I am free and at peace, whatever happens after that is not my problem".

"Of course it isn't" a frustrated Asher snapped.

"I don't know why we're debating this" Ablah snapped back, "This life is dreadful, so wish it away!".

"Screw you!" Asher yelled, "There has to be something, there has to be a loophole".

"There is no loophole" Ablah stated.

Asher shook his head, "That's not true, magic always has a loophole".

"Yeah?" Ablah asked, "Well, you better find it quickly, things are taking a hell of a turn up there".

"What the hell are you on about?" a confused Asher asked, Ablah didn't say anything just clicked her fingers and teleported Asher over to where Alaric was, "Ric?".

"Asher" a confused Alaric said, "Did Mia let you out? We've been working on getting the right dosages for you".

"What's happening?" a worried Asher asked, "Are we going into hiding?".

"No, we're fighting" Alaric informed, "Triad got wind of our location, with Alec gone, we decided to take a stand and put an end to this once and for all".

"Everyone's going to die" Asher whispered, "And it's going to be my fault".

"No, it's my fault" Alaric said, "After Aria and Damon's death, I should've never kept that secret from you",

"What secret?" a confused Asher asked.

"Your mom and dad were waiting for the right time to tell you this but they died before they could say anything" Alaric said, "You know that someone from the Connor bloodline has to be the leader of the Gemini coven but what you didn't know was that something happens to twins born into your coven, or in your case, you and Alec, when you turn twenty two, the Gemini must merge".

"What the hell is a merge?" Asher asked.

"It's a battle of will" Alaric revealed, "Only the strongest of the two will survive it".

"So me or Alec will have to kill the other?" a shocked Asher asked.

"We've been trying to find a way to prevent it ever since you were little kids" Alaric informed, "We tried to keep it from you as long as we could, but when we turned the house into a rescue operation, one of the witches who was passing through told you the story of the Gemini, and you--".

"I what?" a scared Asher asked, "What did I do, Alaric?".

"You got scared" Alaric revealed, "You had one of your episodes, and you went dark, paranoid, to you, Alec became your biggest threat, you became obsessed with winning, and then you lost control".

"I killed him" Asher cried, "I killed my brother, didn't I?".

"It was an accident" Alaric defended.

"Accident or not, that doesn't change the fact, I'm the reason he's dead" Asher cried, "That's why Nova and Mia hate me so much".

"No" Mia said, walking over to the duo, having heard the conversation between Asher and Alaric, "We don't hate you, we hate ourselves for not being able to stop two brothers from going after each other".

"No, don't Mia, please don't" Asher pleaded, "Don't hate yourself, I know this is going to sound crazy, but I've been to other worlds, other realities, and in all those realities it's always been you who has kept me and Alec together, we always thought we were protecting you but you've been keeping us together, time after time, world after world, you have proved that you are mom's daughter".

"Was Alec alive in one of those worlds?" an emotional Mia asked, Asher nodded his head, causing Mia to let out a sob, "Then I wish we were in one of those realities right now".

"And we will be" Asher said, "Mia I don't care about anyone else, but I need you to believe me, there's a world where we are happy, we might not have our parents, but we have a family, we have a home, we have each other, and I know my one mistake changed all that but I promise you I will fix it, I just need to find a loophole and I promise I will bring our brother back to us".

"I believe you, Ash" Mia cried, "I just don't believe in our luck".

"It's time" Nova informed, walking over to the siblings.

Mia nodded her head and went to walk way but Asher grabbed her wrist, "Mia, wait, please, don't die on me, I can't lose you as well".

"I'll try my best Ash" Mia whispered, she stepped forward and hugged her brother, "I love you big brother", an emotional Mia broke the hug after a moment and after wiping her tears walked over to the group that was waiting for her, "Let's go give them hell!".

Asher watched his sister go fight for her life, and he realised he was running out of time to save her, their brother and their old world.

Once everyone had left, Asher paced up and down trying his hardest to think of a loophole that will fix all of this, "Come on Ash, use that Salvatore brain of yours, think of a loophole, save your family and friends".

"Not exactly your strong suit" Ablah taunted, appearing next to Asher, who immediately rolled her eyes in annoyance seeing her, "This would all go so much easier if you'd just accept my offer".

"Shut the hell up!" Asher snapped, "There has to be way in which we both get what we want, I just need to make the perfect wish".

"As I've told you, I will not grant you anything unless it involves me finding peace" Ablah reminded.

"And I told you to shut up!" Asher yelled, just as both him and Ablah heard a explosion coming from outside.

"Maybe you need a little incentive" Ablah realised, clicking her hands and suddenly Asher was transported in the middle of the battle field where Mia, Nova and Alaric were fighting to stay alive, "Incentivized?".

A teary eyed Asher glared at Ablah, "I am a Salvatore, I don't give up, bitch" he said, "And I know people think being Damon Salvatore's son who was raised by Kol Mikaelson, that automatically makes me selfish and you know what maybe I am, but I am not that selfish that I will give you a urn that will possibly destroy everything, it will destroy my mother's dream of her children having a home where they don't have to hide their true self, and I won't let her dream get destroyed".

"You sure about that?" Ablah asked, gesturing for Asher to look behind him.

Looking behind him, Asher saw a bunch of triad members circle Mia and hit her with every herb they could find, stopping her magic and making her extremely weak and much easier to kill.

Asher turned back to Ablah, "My sister is the strongest one of us all, she will be fine, I will not let you break me, my siblings are my weakness, but they are also my greatest strength, and I will not allow you to use them to break me".

"You were already broken, that's why I chose you in the first place" Ablah clarified.

"Well guess what Ablah, you can't break me anymore" Asher stated, "So get one thing stuck in that thick head of yours, you are never getting that urn, if you want it so badly then go take it yourself", once the words left his mouth, Asher's eyes went wide in shock, "But you can't, can you? That's why you didn't take it when it was right infront of your eyes, because you're a jinni, someone who can only do things that other people wish them to do, huh, so I guess I'm not the only one broken here, right Ablah? But maybe I can fix you, maybe I can fix both of us".

"How?" Ablah asked.

"By telling you my last wish" Asher replied, "I wish that you never met the monster that sent you to Malivore".

Ablah looked at Asher in shock, "If I never went to Malivore--".

"Your five hundred years of service would have been long completed" Asher finished.

"I'd be free" Ablah whispered.

"And that's my last wish" Asher stated, "Now it's your choice if you want to take it, or leave it".

Ablah smirked, "Your wish is my command, but there's a catch, we will never have met, either, which means--".

"I won't remember the merge" Asher concluded.

"Not consciously" Ablah confirmed, "You'll be just like all those poor souls I helped over the centuries who used their final wishes to reset their realities".

"And what happened to those people?" a curious Asher asked.

"They found their worlds just as they left them" Ablah informed, "Only their minds weren't, because somehow our journeys stayed with them and slowly drove them insane, it's like you said, there's always a loophole with magic, and when you find out what your parents wanted to tell you before their death, as you inevitably will, history will likely repeat itself, and you'll kill Alec all over again".

Asher immediately started shaking his head, "No, no, I--".

"Thank you for my freedom, Asher" Ablah interrupted, clicking her fingers and finally sending Asher back to the world he was familiar with me.

"Ash?! Asher?! Hello, earth to Asher Salvatore!".

An extremely confused Asher looked around and realised he was in his room, he looked behind him and realised his brother was standing there, "Alec?".

"What's up with you?" Alec asked, "I came to check on you after Hope told me you had a fight with Lizzie only to see you in some kind of daze".

"I don't know what happened to me" an extremely confused Asher admitted, he felt like he was forgetting something really important, but what he had no idea.

Asher was walking down the corridor of the boarding school when his eyes landed on Hope was walking towards her, the moment Asher's eyes landed on Hope he didn't know why but he let out the breath he didn't even know he was holding, he quickly rushed over and pulled the Mikaelson girl into a tight hug.

"Woah" a shocked Hope said, not expecting the hug, "Everything okay Ash?".

"It is now" Asher mumbled, tightening his hold on Hope and just holding on to her for as long as he could, an unknown fear in his that if he let go she will disappear.

Unknown to Hope and Asher, Nova stood on the end of the corridor watching the two hug with a sad smile on her face, she turned around to leave when her eyes landed on Alec who was looking right at her, Nova gave Alec a small smile and took a step towards him but Alec quickly turned around and walked away from the St. John girl, making the small smile on her face immediately fall and get placed with a feeling of hurt.
