When eve was first born she was diagnosed with something that wasn't supposed to make her last very long. Although from the moment she was born Evelyn fought for her life and in the moment of her traumatic experience she still fought. She wanted to die that day, wanted things to end but she thought of her family and kept pushing. She nearly didn't make it when someone finally did find her that day. Laying in a pool of her own blood from the cuts that would leave scars. From the mess she had gotten herself into for trusting too soon and for walking alone at night. Eve wasn't one to be down on herself she felt confident and even boosted Bella's confidence and spirit. Although one fateful night Rene got a call saying her daughter was in the hospital in a coma.

Eve didn't wake up for about a week and when she did her eyes no longer held that spark. The spark that made the saddest person smile at her. The spark that kept everyone around her going through life gracefully. When she woke Bella was the first to notice her attitude change. She was the first to notice that her sister lost that glitter in her eye. She didn't press at first but when she did after months of screaming at night. She forced it out of Evelyn and Bella would regret it forever. When eve was young she loved the forest and got lost once. Although she didn't travel far a special person found her that day. She didn't know it at the time but it was someone she knew and held dear to her heart. She was younger then some friends she had on the reservation. Like Leah Clearwater she was even older then Bella which meant she was older then Eve.

Although Leah wasn't the nicest person sometimes although for Eve she was sweet and different. So when she was told eve was in a coma she broke down in tears and begged to go see her. As Eve lay there in a coma she dreamt of happy days and dying. She thought she had died until she woke to see her sisters eyes staring at the bed. She didn't speak right away for there had been a tube down her throat and left it raw. Eve might have lost her spark and shut people out for a while. But when Bella found out what really happened she grew closer to the girl. She refused to do anything without her and always included Eve in anything she did. Always making sure Eve was happy to an extent that she could get her to smile. It wasn't often anymore that the girl smiled and if she did you were lucky to have seen it. So when she found out her sister wanted to let Rene and Phil go travel. Then move to forks with their dad eve hesitantly agreed only for the sake of not leaving Bella behind.
